The real reason the US is invading Venezuela goes back to a deal Henry Kissinger made with Saudi Arabia in 1974.

And I'm going to explain why this is actually about the SURVIVAL of the US dollar itself.

Not drugs. Not terrorism. Not "democracy."

This is about the petrodollar system that has kept America the dominant economic power for 50 years.

And Venezuela just threatened to end it.

    Here's what really just happened:

Venezuela has 303 billion barrels of proven oil reserves.

    The largest on Earth.

    More than Saudi Arabia.

20% of the entire world's oil.

But here's the part that matters:

Venezuela was actively selling that oil in Chinese yuan. Not dollars.

In 2018, Venezuela announced it would "free itself from the dollar."

They started accepting yuan, euros, rubles, anything BUT dollars for oil.

They were petitioning to join BRICS.

They were building direct payment channels with China that bypass SWIFT entirely.

And they were sitting on enough oil to fund de-dollarization for decades.

    Why does this matter?

Because the entire American financial system is built on one thing:

    The petrodollar.

In 1974, Henry Kissinger made a deal with Saudi Arabia:

All oil sold globally must be priced in US dollars.

In exchange, America provides military protection.

This single agreement created artificial demand for dollars worldwide.

Every country on Earth needs dollars to buy oil.

This lets America print unlimited money while other countries work for it.

It funds the military. The welfare state. The deficit spending.

The petrodollar is more important to US hegemony than aircraft carriers.

And there's a pattern of what happens to leaders who challenge it:

2000: Saddam Hussein announces Iraq will sell oil in euros instead of dollars.

2003: Invaded. Regime change. Iraq's oil immediately switched back to dollars. Saddam lynched.

The WMDs were never found because they never existed.

2009: Gaddafi proposes a gold-backed African currency called the "gold dinar" for oil trade.

Hillary Clinton's own leaked emails confirm this was the PRIMARY reason for intervention.

Email quote: "This gold was intended to establish a pan-African currency based on the Libyan golden Dinar."

2011: NATO bombs Libya. Gaddafi sodomized and murdered. Libya now has open slave markets.

"We came, we saw, he died!" Clinton laughed on camera.

The gold dinar died with him.

    And now Maduro.

With FIVE TIMES more oil than Saddam and Gaddafi combined.

    Actively selling in yuan.

Building payment systems outside dollar control.

    Petitioning to join BRICS.

Partnered with China, Russia, and Iran.

The three countries leading global de-dollarization.

    This isn't coincidence.

Challenge the petrodollar. Get regime changed.

    Every. Single. Time.

Stephen Miller (US homeland security advisor) literally said it out loud two weeks ago:

"American sweat, ingenuity and toil created the oil industry in Venezuela. Its tyrannical expropriation was the largest recorded theft of American wealth and property."

    He's not hiding it.

They're claiming Venezuelan oil BELONGS to America because US companies developed it 100 years ago.

By this logic, every nationalized resource in history was "theft."

    But here's the DEEPER problem:

    The petrodollar is already dying.

Russia sells oil in rubles and yuan since Ukraine.

Saudi Arabia is openly discussing yuan settlements.

Iran has been trading in non-dollar currencies for years.

China built CIPS, their own alternative to SWIFT with 4,800 banks in 185 countries.

BRICS is actively building payment systems that bypass the dollar entirely.

The mBridge project lets central banks settle trades instantly in local currencies.

Venezuela joining BRICS with 303 billion barrels of oil would accelerate this exponentially.

That's what this invasion is really about.

Not stopping drugs. Venezuela accounts for less than 1% of US cocaine.

Not terrorism. There's zero evidence Maduro runs a "terror organization."

Not democracy. The US supports Saudi Arabia, which has zero elections.

This is about maintaining a 50-year-old agreement that lets America print money while the world works for it.

    And the consequences are terrifying:

Russia, China, and Iran are already denouncing this as "armed aggression."

China is Venezuela's biggest oil customer. They're losing billions.

BRICS nations are watching a country get invaded for trading outside the dollar.

Every nation considering de-dollarization just got the message:

Challenge the dollar and we will bomb you.

    But here's the problem...

That message might accelerate de-dollarization, not stop it.

Because now every country in the Global South knows what happens if you threaten dollar hegemony.

And they're realizing the only protection is to move FASTER.

    The timing is insane too:

January 3rd, 2026. Venezuela invaded. Maduro captured.

January 3rd, 1990. Panama invaded. Noriega captured.

36 years apart. Almost to the day.

Same playbook. Same "drug trafficking" excuse.

Same real reason: control of strategic resources and trade routes.

History doesn't repeat. But it rhymes.

    What happens next:

Trump's press conference at Mar-a-Lago sets the narrative.

US oil companies are already lined up. Politico reported they've been approached about "returning to Venezuela."

The opposition will be installed. Oil will flow in dollars again.

Venezuela becomes another Iraq. Another Libya.

    But here's what nobody's asking:

What happens when you can no longer bomb your way to dollar dominance?

When China has enough economic leverage to retaliate?

When BRICS controls 40% of global GDP and says "no more dollars"?

When the world realizes the petrodollar is maintained by violence?

    America just showed its hand.

The question is whether the rest of the world folds or calls the bluff.

Because this invasion is an admission that the dollar can no longer compete on its own merits.

When you have to bomb countries to keep them using your currency, the currency is already dying.

    Venezuela isn't the beginning.

    It's the desperate end.

    What do you think?

This is absolutely true, and if you don't understand this in petrodollar vernacular then you will not understand the world at large.
It's the reason Trump is balls deep in Iran.
Straight of hourmus feeds China, Europe, Asia.
Sure Israel has their reasons but the neocons have theirs.
Trump is now a neocon unfortunately.
Defending the petrol dollar with no regard for the rest of the world is hard to negotiate.
Arguing that you want a lifestyle propped up by the petrol dollar and it's existence is only possible by draining economic power from the the rest of the world and that is not ****ing cool.
Zero point energy is a threat to that very same petrol dollar and you wonder how much that contributed to cheap energy assassinations over the last fifty years.

But yeah that's why neocons are in Venezuela and now Iran...

The CIA Debunks the Myth of Electoral Fraud in Venezuela

The White House’s propaganda apparatus has suffered an information short circuit caused by its own bureaucratic weight. In an attempt to breathe new life into the worn narrative of the “illegitimacy” of Venezuela’s political process, U.S. President Donald Trump ordered the declassification of a collection of intelligence files.

According to Washington’s official account, those documents would expose a sophisticated electronic fraud mechanism capable of altering election results during the administrations of Commander Hugo Chavez and President Nicolas Maduro.

However, an examination of the documentation — specifically an internal Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) memorandum dated June 29 and released on July 1 — reveals the opposite scenario: Langley’s own analysts categorically contradict the narrative put forward by the executive branch.

    Langley’s Admission

The executive summary of the declassified memorandum states that although the U.S. intelligence community maintained constant monitoring and “persistent concerns” about the infrastructure of Venezuela’s electronic voting system between 2004 and 2020, the agency concludes that “it has not been definitively confirmed that large-scale electronic fraud occurred in specific Venezuelan elections.”

For U.S. intelligence, the technological fixation on hacking carries less weight than the country’s sociopolitical reality. The CIA’s baseline assessment states that “there are other factors that better explain the election results.”

In the technical language of U.S. analysts, that wording implicitly acknowledges that Chavismo’s electoral victories over the past two decades are better explained by the organizational cohesion of its social base and the historic fragmentation of the opposition, rather than by hidden manipulation within electronic voting systems.

The text reads, “Just as the CIA ended up acknowledging that there was no ‘electoral fraud’ in Venezuela, that it was all a lie by the opposition, they will soon also admit that the accusations against Nicolas Maduro are false, that they were invented to steal Venezuela’s oil.”

From Theoretical Vulnerabilities to the Absence of Evidence

The declassified document attempts to preserve its analytical position by noting that automated systems have “vulnerabilities that could theoretically be exploited by sophisticated actors with insider access.” However, the report stops short of concluding that those operational weaknesses were ever used to alter the will of the voters.

The CIA also weakens the reliability of its own intelligence from that period by openly acknowledging that reports concerning alleged advanced manipulation techniques came from “limited sources.”

This reveals that much of Washington’s argument over the years relied on interested testimony from local opposition leaders and foreign disinformation contractors, without any type of field verification.

Analytical Assessment of a Propaganda Fiction

The declassification of these files dismantles the core technical justification for sanctions and the diplomatic campaign against Venezuela.

If the world’s largest intelligence agency, with the greatest technological and financial resources devoted to political espionage, acknowledges after 16 years of monitoring that its concerns did not translate into conclusive evidence of fraud, the objective conclusion is that the United States does not possess evidence that election results in Venezuela were altered.

The Trump administration’s move has served to make the record of the campaign against Venezuela more transparent and to confirm that the narrative of “massive electronic fraud” has never functioned as an established intelligence finding, but rather as a psychological operations narrative intended for international media consumption and domestic destabilization.

Everything else, judged by the CIA’s own documents, belongs strictly to the realm of propaganda.

If the CIA further concluded that those other factors were CIA controlled election meddling, then I would believe them.

Otherwise ... and until then ... I do not find the CIA to be a credible source. If the CIA announced that "2 + 2 == 4", I would start to doubt my schooling in arithmetic and mathematics.

That's NOT.... Venezuela is foreign country.... we all know that they have their own laws and constitution too.... and removing their president does not give Trump the right, to own and sell the oil from Venezuela... that is MY opinion!

Delcy Rodriguez: The Blaise Compaoré of Venezuela🇻🇪

Since making a deal with the Trump Administration to assume the role of Washington’s Venezuelan viceroy, following the kidnapping of her own President, Nicolas Maduro…

The figure she most resembles is the betrayer of Burkina Faso🇧🇫 Blaise Compaoré.

On the 15th of October 1987, Burkinabe President Thomas Sankara and 12 others were assassinated in the French-backed coup that brought Compaoré to power. Compaore had been a long-time friend of Sankara, with Sankara regarding Compaore as a brother before their relationship deteriorated.

In 2022, a Burkinabè military court convicted Compaoré of complicity in Sankara’s assassination and sentenced him to life imprisonment. (Channels Television)

Sankara had sought to break Burkina Faso from dependency on imperialist finance: building agricultural self-sufficiency, expanding healthcare and education, mobilising mass organisations, promoting women’s emancipation, fighting corruption and pursuing an economy based on national sovereignty and popular participation.

Compaoré reversed that direction almost immediately.

His government abandoned Sankara’s rejection of structural adjustment and moved towards the IMF and World Bank.

In 1991, Burkina Faso entered its first IMF structural adjustment programme. Agriculture was liberalised, agribusiness was promoted, state enterprises were privatised and the economy was opened increasingly to foreign capital.

The language of popular revolution gave way to the language of “development”, “liberalisation” and attracting foreign investment. The revolutionary committees were dismantled, while Compaoré’s regime increasingly aligned itself with Washington-controlled international financial institutions.

Sankara had attempted to break the chains of neocolonial dependency. Compaoré put them back on.

Delcy Rodriguez has done the same in Venezuela, shamelessly signing off Venezuela’s vast oil reserves to be controlled by the United States, opening up the oil industry to privatisation, improving relations with Israel on Washington’s orders, and neutering the Bolivarian Revolution.

Both Rodriguez and Compaoré betrayed their revolutions, their comrades, and their people for a modicum of power.

The power? Being nothing but a viceroy for foreign interests.

    Max Blumenthal

An iconic photo setting the stage for a terrifying 21st century.

Beaming beside the man who violently assaulted her country and abducted its president and his wife, Delcy signals enthusiastic consent for the Donroe Doctrine and the entire Western imperial ethos of might makes right.

This is a green light for the kidnapping of presidents, the assassination of leaders in their offices, and the plunder of resources.

Chavez inspired millions across the globe by standing for international law and against the Iraq war at the UN podium. Delcy may sincerely believe she is defending her nation’s interests, but with this single twisted photo op, she has let the world down.

Venezuela’s 🇻🇪 Delcy Rodriguez engages in self-humiliation at the UN General Assembly:

‘Some attempt to interfere in the domestic affairs of Venezuela.’

She can’t even name who interferes, because she is obedient to them.

If kidnapping the President, looting the oil resources, and turning the country into a colony is merely ‘interference’, one hesitates to think what total subjugation looks like.

More commentary on the Essequibo land in Guyana via Angelo Giuliano,

    Angelo Giuliano 🇨🇭🇮🇹
    @a
Trump’s Venezuela and the Oil Next Door
Delcy Rodríguez did not mention Essequibo at the UN by accident.

She thanked Trump. She promised elections. She talked like Venezuela now lives inside the American system. Then she brought back the old claim on Guyana’s land, and on the light sweet oil sitting off that coast.
    That sequence is the story.
For years Washington blocked Caracas on Essequibo because Venezuela was the enemy. Guyana was the partner. Exxon was already in the water. The court case was the fence. A fence like that works against a hostile government. It does not work the same way against a client.
And this is not Venezuela’s usual barrel. Essequibo crude is light and sweet. Venezuela’s own oil, especially in the Orinoco Belt, is heavy and sour. One is easy to sell. The other is a headache. That difference is why Guyana got rich so fast. It is also why the claim is more useful now than it was under Maduro.
Trump does not need to say “go ahead.” Washington only needs to stop saying “don’t.”
The full piece lays out the new map, the better oil, the UN timing, and the signs that Georgetown’s American shield is weaker than it looks.
