Such a beautiful story, and such kindness from those people. But how depressing that the human animal (or at least some of them) makes such a disgusting mess of the environment we all have to share (I can't find the crying emoji I want to insert here)...

I think many peoples' hearts cry when they see animals suffering. A lot of destruction happens incrementally over a long time, beings not aware of what will unfold in the future. Now with technology, and big machines used incorrectly by beings that seem to have no connection to everything and the ability and hindsight to know what will happen continue on.I hope one day that will change

Five elephants were swept away by the devastating floods in Nepal and somehow reached Uttar Pradesh. 💔

What hapened next is truly heartwarming. The Uttar Pradesh rescue and wildlife teams stepped in and safely rescued all five elephants. 🙏❤️

In the midst of such a challenging situation, this is a beautiful example of compassion, courage and humanity towards wildlife.

Wildlife cannot speak for themselves. They need our protection, our compassion and our commitment to keeping them safe. ❤️

That's quite extraordinary. The five elephants were three wild adults with two calves, and the distance they were all swept downstream was 350 river miles or more — and somehow, over what must have been nearly 24 hours, they all managed to stay together. This amazing story is all over the Indian media.
