The album Pink Moon from artist Nick Drake was an amazing find in the late 1990s for me.
His very personal, poetic and thinskinned performance was, and is, a treasure of a recording.
It became the soundtrack to a journey into creative work and excistential deep soul diving ..

I see the word 'beloved' thrown around a lot in the tightly controlled MSM, as in 'beloved fast-food franchise' or 'beloved comic' or beloved this or that. Hah. From punk rockers to R&B greats to classical music lovers to Beavis & Butthead, Dolly was truly beloved. Here is quite the performance from two ladies who could accurately be described as elderly (77 and 73 at the time).

EDIT: I rarely get sad when people die, much less celebrities I don't know, but this had me near tears for days. This woman deserves to be canonized by the Vatican. She truly worked miracles, not only through her philanthropy, but through her music.
