Brenda Fricker, Irish Oscar-winning actor, has died aged 81
    (17 February 1945 – 16 July 2026)
    https://www.irishtimes.com/culture/f...-died-aged-81/

Brenda Fricker, among the most respected Irish actors of her generation, has died at the age of 81, her agent has confirmed.

A busy performer on television and film, she became, in 1990, the first Irish woman to win an acting Oscar when she took the best supporting actress prize for Jim Sheridan’s My Left Foot.By that stage she was already a familiar presence on television thanks to her role as Megan Roach on the BBC medical soap Casualty. Other key film roles included those in Omagh, A Man of No Importance and Sheridan’s The Field.

Fricker was an unmistakable Dubliner. Her mother, Bina, from Kerry, was a teacher of languages at Stratford College in Rathgar. Her father, Desmond Fricker, worked in the Department of Agriculture and as a journalist for The Irish Times."

"Is there an idea more radical in the history of the human race than turning your children over to total strangers whom you know nothing about, and having those strangers work on your child's mind, out of your sight, for a period of twelve years?" John Taylor Gatto

UK footballing legend Kevin Keegan has died aged 75. That's very sad indeed. When I was kid Keegan was looked upon as a god.

Indeed he was, one of my biggest heroes. Not just for his accomplishments but also his honesty, his heart on the sleeve comments. One of the true giants.

(Plus: I was a Newcastle United supporter who got to see him as a player and a manager)

Yes, that saddens me as well. I watched him play a few times in my home city at Filbert Street; he was a brilliant player. He was not only a great player but gentlemanly too.

    Marcoslrua

    Translated from Spanish
Farewell to Marcos, the boy who found a family among wolves 🐺

Today, the life of Marcos Rodríguez Pantoja, the wolf boy of Sierra Morena, fades away. He was 80 years old and passed away in Rante, Ourense, the place he had chosen as home for his final years and where he wanted his ashes to remain.

But his story should not remain confined to the legend of a boy who lived with wolves. Behind that extraordinary tale was an abandoned, mistreated child, condemned to survive in a nature that ultimately became his refuge.

For more than a decade, he lived in Sierra Morena, far from human beings and in the company of animals. There, he learned to survive, to know the wilderness, and to communicate with the wolves. Years later, when he returned to society, he never stopped remembering that time as the happiest stage of his life.

Perhaps that's why Marcos always looked at wolves in a different way. He did not see them as monsters or enemies. He remembered them as part of his family, as those animals that stood by his side when human beings had turned their backs on him.

His life leaves us with an uncomfortable question: who was truly wild?

The wolves who welcomed a lost boy in the mountains?
Or the human beings who allowed that child to be abandoned to his fate?

Marcos departs, but his story endures. It endures in Sierra Morena, in Rante, among those who knew him and, above all, in the memory of those wolves he never stopped considering his family.

    Run free, Marcos.
Walk again through those mountains. And wherever you are, hear once more the howl of those who one day taught you that it is also possible to survive with love.

Rest in peace, wolf boy. 🐺🖤

Marcos Rodríguez Pantoja has passed away. The “wolf child” of Sierra Morena.
He was “raised” by wolves from the age of 6 until 19.
He never fully understood the human world, because, as he used to tell me, “Animals don’t lie”

🖤🐺 On August 15th we bid farewell to Marcos Rodríguez Pantoja, the «wolf child of Sierra Morena», a fellow neighbor of Rante since 2001.

He passed away during the parish festivities, leaving behind more than two decades of shared life.

Marcos, San Cibrao will not forget you.

This one caught me off guard.
She was just 36 and cause of death was cardiac arrest.
Apparently she didn't get the placebo.

How do vaccine damage deniers reconcile with these kinds of deaths?

Michael Jaco claims she was offed for revealing things about the Deep State. I only watched the opening of the video and can't provide a summary beyond that. He did mention she died on the same day as Elvis 08/16/77 and her death on 08/16/26.

Actress Hayden Panettiere murdered by the deep state for revealing? Huge winter changes and quakes.

When asked why he didn't have a beard, Frank Beard replied "....female thigh burn." True story.
