RGray, Healthcare is all about the basics of morality. United Healthcare under their CEO knowingly practice/ practiced murder for money. They're hitmen without guns.

The reason I started this thread was not to debate the morality of healthcare but to discuss the morality of using murder and violence as a means to solve societal problems. A world where people resort to murder would be consumed by fear, chaos, and despair. I hope we're on the same page here; this is not a world either of us would truly want to live in.

If you feel strongly about healthcare failures, maybe you should start a thread. I would imagine the denial rate of United Health Care is fairly high, which results in many unnecessary deaths. I also remember reading some time ago that Canada's healthcare system is responsible for a lot of deaths because people were denied immediate care for surgeries and procedures. It might make for an interesting discussion. The debate over whether healthcare is a human right or a privilege is well worth having.
