( The comments from Danny Jones' followers make very frequent reference to Ben Davidson's work and his youtube channel SpaceWeatherNews, begging Danny to feature him on his show asap. Although de Cordier didn't mention Davidson, I think he did say that he follows the work of Dr. Robert Schoch, whose work is very much in alignment with Davidson's.

(It's a bit hard to make out the name when de Cordier said it. The transcript says that de Cordier said Robert Chaswell is the man whose work he follows, but I asked AI : "Who is the Robert Chaswell whose work de Cordier says he follows?"

"Louis de Cordier says the sun does not just flare at the end of a cycle. It goes dark. Dust and material build up around it until the whole surface reads as one enormous sunspot, and that is the warning sign. What follows is a coronal mass ejection big enough to strip away part of Earth's atmosphere, flash-freeze animals where they stand, and heat the magma under our feet. De Cordier is building a time capsule in the mountains of Spain for the next one. He reads the Egyptian labyrinth as the same idea, a library buried by people who knew what was coming. His scale for it starts with the Carrington event, which he rates at X200 and says would take down every transformer and fry modern civilization today. Then he raises it. The Miyake event was roughly ten times stronger, an X2000, and nothing electronic would survive it.

The pattern he lays out is a clock. Grand solar minima arrive about every 200 years, with larger ones every 400, 800 and 2,000. The Dalton minimum began two years before the French Revolution, and de Cordier links the crop failures directly to the sun changing state. He connects the same cycles to volcanic activity at Tambora and Krakatoa, to the eruption that ended the Neanderthals 42,000 years ago, and to Campi Flegrei stirring again now. He cites Henrik Svensmark's cosmic ray and cloud data as the mechanism underneath it. On the floods, he claims the Earth's crust holds eight to ten times more water than every ocean combined, and enough incoming radiation boils it out through the ground.

His conclusion is the strange part. Humanity survives these events every time. High technology does not. That, he says, is why the very rich are quietly digging bunkers. "

In an early Matt Beall podcast, he talks about a great wave caused by the rapid slowdown of the earth's rotation, as a novel interpretation of massive evidence of the inundation of western coasts. I am very surprised that Beall hadn't heard of Velikovsky proposing that exact theory seventy years ago, in a series of bestselling books.
Remember Hancock was travel correspondent for the Rothschilds Economist, that he doesn't reference Velikovsky in the back of finger prints of the Gods, but refers to Hapgood's crustal slippage theory instead, is suspicious.
It's Velikovsky's work that provided much of the evidence for Electric Universe theory, which has to be the motive, for the suppression of his work.
Velikovsky predicted the van allen belt, the temperature of Venus and a host of electrical effects, that was against the orthodoxy of the time.
I am sure Matt Beall would want to know that he was covering ground that Velikovsky had, decades before.
