Don't know but I like it. Apparently fake quotes are not memes,

Are these memes?

Maybe catered more to an American audience, but I think most Gen-X'ers will understand. It really does begin to feel like two different lifetimes...

Not a meme per se, but I had a strange thought last night during one of my insomnia stages at 1:40am, backstory - i have been doing a bit of reading on NDE's lately and this thought occurred to me,

remember back in the 80's & 90's (sheesh that just makes me feel old) when there were video game arcades? back before the rise of the consoles? you would go in drop your credit in and have fun? when it was over either via a time limit or character death it would come up on the screen GAME OVER - to continue please input more credit(s), well that is what an NDE is, someone put in some more credit??? I base this idea on the premise that this is a simulation anyway.

We used to skate to the local laundry mat and pump quarters into the pinball machine, a much more physical and satisfactory experience of bumping and grinding the machine, takes a certain finesse to avoid "Tilt". The loss was never officially announced, you just watched the ball slip by your flippers, see, it even sounds erotic. You telling me even death is a credit based system? Echoes of Revelation 9:6, one needs credit to live, the other to die...

Apologies all, the memes have been speaking to me lately. Shout out to the memelords hittin' the mark!
