The land shown in dark, deep blue would be the most affected if, during the Geophysical Event, the upper crust or mantle were to slip and the oceans spilled over the land.

The safer areas begin with the lighter green, yellow, orange, and red regions, ranging from over 1,500 metres (4,921 feet) to 3,000 metres (9,843 feet). Areas above that elevation might be too high and cold for survival and more exposed to cosmic radiation unless you have access to deep, fortified bunkers or cave systems.

You can see on the map that there are many potentially safe areas, but also that the majority of the continents would be submerged—just look at Europe. Now you can understand why New Zealand is one of the favorite places for billionaires to build doomsday bunkers.
