From David Pyne, Editor, The Real War newsletter; Former US Army HQ Staff Officer; National Security Strategist and Geopolitics Expert, here covering what is always going to be very difficult ground regarding casualty numbers, as has been addressed on this thread before. With what little we do know but from enough supporting battlefield video, and measured correspondences, the real situation is likely pretty close to this I'd have thought:

    Source: https://x.com/AmericaFirstCon/status...92493931450827
In response to one of my latest posts in which I detailed why the Western proxy war against Russia in Ukraine was destroying Ukraine, I was accused of falsifying Ukrainian casualty figures, and I was asked what my sources were. My sources for my estimate of over 1 million Ukrainian soldiers killed in combat is the anti-Putin Jamestown Foundation which reported a figure of 750,000 Ukrainian soldiers KIA and 750,000 seriously wounded and unable to return to combat in early May 2025.

By dividing that estimate by 38 months (late February 2022 through late April 2025), we can calculate 19,700 Ukrainian KIA and 19,700 seriously wounded every month up to that point and since. Multiply 19,700 by 16 months (May 2025-September 2026) and you get an additional 315,000 Ukrainian troops killed in action bringing the total Ukrainian KIA to 1,065,000. My source for Russian war dead is Mediazona which cites a figure of 242,747 confirmed Russian KIA.

Ukrainian officials have recently stated that only 22-25 million Ukrainians remain in areas under Ukrainian control out of a prewar figure of 41 million which means Ukraine has lost 39-46.3 percent of its population. The US currently has nearly 343 million people. The equivalent loss to the US population would be 133 million to 159 million people. So once again I ask how can anyone with a triple IQ seriously argue that Ukraine is winning its war against Russia?

Drones in Leipzig/Halle Airport - an update

Your governments in Europe think you are all fools.

From Anatolij Sharij, • Most-watched journalist on YouTube in Ukraine ▶️ • Opposition politician to Zelensky
    Source: https://x.com/anatoliisharii/status/2096521560337141926

    --------------------------------
On 1 August 2024, seven climate activists from the “Letzte Generation” (“Last Generation”) movement illegally entered the grounds of Leipzig/Halle Airport. They cut through the outer security fence in three separate places and entered the airport’s restricted area.

Five of the activists managed to glue themselves to the taxiways, while two others were detained before they were able to do so.

Thus, as early as 2024, there was a documented case in which unauthorized individuals managed to breach the secured perimeter at night and gain direct access to the airside area of Leipzig/Halle Airport.

Against this background, particular attention should be paid to an account given to me by an airport employee concerning another incident — one involving a drone.

His account differs significantly from the version presented in the media.

According to him, everything happened at night during the loading of a cargo aircraft in the Vorfeld 2 area, where, among other things, DHL aircraft are serviced and Antonov aircraft are located.

Airport employees had noticed drones in the vicinity of the airport before.

Near the S8a road, which runs along the perimeter of the airport, there is an emergency gate and a location offering a good view of the runway.

At night, aviation spotters occasionally stand there photographing aircraft taking off and landing.

According to the source, drones had also been seen in this area on numerous occasions, although they normally did not approach people or aircraft at close range.

This time, however, the situation was different. During the loading operation, a small drone began circling near the cargo aircraft and then hovered directly next to an employee.

According to the source, none of those present saw where exactly it had come from.

When the device came close enough, the employee lowered it to the ground and pinned it down with his hand, damaging its propellers. He then reported over the radio that the drone was on the ground.

It is what happened next that the source considers extremely strange. According to him, within just a few minutes, police officers, bomb-disposal specialists, firefighters, television crews and bomb-disposal equipment, including a specialized robot, appeared at the scene.

The employee says that the speed of their arrival has raised questions among airport staff. The airport is located approximately 20 kilometres from Leipzig, and it is not possible to simply drive up to the terminal and enter the restricted airfield area.

To gain access, outsiders are required to pass through security checks and obtain the appropriate permit, including a temporary Tagesausweis.

According to the source’s estimate, the process of obtaining authorization and passing through the checkpoint alone takes time.

He therefore does not understand how a specialized team, a television crew and heavy equipment could have reached the airfield itself almost immediately after the radio report.

The source particularly strongly disputes reports that the device allegedly carried explosives or a detonator.

According to him, the employee who brought the drone down with his own hands did not see either a detonator or any explosive material attached to it.

The source also claims that photographs subsequently published in the media showing the drone with explosive material next to it do not correspond to what airport employees initially saw at the scene. The reference to Czech-made Semtex also raised particular suspicions for him.

According to the source, the drone itself was a small, inexpensive consumer device intended primarily for photography and video recording.

He doubts that such a device could have carried any significant additional payload at all

According to the source, after seeing the news reports, the employee who personally brought the drone down was outraged by the way the incident had been presented to the public, but is unable to speak openly because he fears losing his job.

The source also draws attention to the situation around the airport following the incident. According to him, police officers are now stationed around the clock near the emergency gate by the S8a, where spotters previously gathered at night and from where drones had periodically been observed.

As a result, there are two fundamentally different versions of what happened.

The public version involves the discovery of a potentially dangerous unmanned aerial vehicle and the subsequent response by emergency services.

The airport employee’s version is that an ordinary small civilian drone appeared on the airport grounds, that an employee brought it down himself, and that this was followed almost immediately by a response from law-enforcement agencies and the media that, in terms of its scale, appeared unusually well prepared in advance.

The airport employee’s account, of course, does not in itself prove that the incident was staged or constituted a provocation.

Independent evidence would be required to reach such a conclusion.

However, his claims raise a number of verifiable questions:

At exactly what time was the drone discovered and the radio report made?

When were the police, bomb-disposal specialists, firefighters and journalists called?

When did each of them actually arrive in the restricted area?

Who first discovered the alleged explosive material, and when?

Was it physically attached to the drone at the moment the drone was brought down?

Who was the first person to examine the device?

Are there any photographs of the drone taken before the bomb-disposal specialists arrived?

And how did media representatives gain access to the airport grounds?

Answers to these questions would make it possible to distinguish confirmed circumstances from witness claims and establish the actual sequence of events.

🇺🇦⚔️🇺🇦 The Man Zelensky Picked to Fight Corruption Is Now Missing, After Tapes Say He Was Running It

The Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) released the first wiretaps from "Operation Carthage," implicating senior officials at the Prosecutor General's Office (OGP) in running protection for fraudulent call centers.

The alleged ringleader, codenamed "Chancellor" in the tapes, is Sergey Kropiva, head of the OGP's Cyber Department, who was arrested yesterday. According to the recordings, Kropiva ran a protection racket for call centers loyal to him, while using the Prosecutor General's Office itself to raid and shut down rival call centers that weren't paying in. Whenever his aide found a call center outside their network, the Prosecutor General's Office would search it the next day and shut it down. Textbook competitor elimination, dressed up as law enforcement. Very Ukraine-like.

The tapes also show Kropiva meeting with people wanted internationally for cybercrimes, and separately coaching call center owners on how to handle questioning from Czech intelligence after a previous crackdown, including briefing them in advance on what the Czechs would ask.

Then there's the personal side. Kropiva is heard complaining to his mistress, codenamed "Muza," that she posts their gifts on Instagram too often. Her reply: now she has to delete everything because there's expensive stuff in every photo. The haul reportedly includes a Hermès Birkin (~€20,000), a Messika pendant (€5-6k), an Audemars Piguet watch ($60,000), a Porsche, and furs.

⚠️ The codename for the boss overseeing all this is "Shef," widely understood in the tapes to be Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko himself.

Here's why this matters beyond one dirty cyber chief: Kravchenko's office is Zelensky's single strongest institutional weapon against NABU and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP). It's also the office that just days ago publicly backed the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) in its standoff with the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR), branding the man GUR was protecting a "Russian agent." That made the Prosecutor General's Office a frontline player in the broader SBU-versus-GUR split we covered yesterday (in the post linked below &#128071.

Now NABU has landed a direct hit on that same office, with search warrants naming Kravchenko, his deputy Maria Vdovichenko, and Odessa military administration head Oleg Kiper, a Zelensky appointee installed after a Budanov-aligned predecessor was removed.

As of this post, nobody can locate Kravchenko. He was last seen entering the government quarter after the searches began. Kiev commentators are already joking that they should check the morgue on the second floor of building four.

    More on 'the' drone

    🚨The Leipzig Drone

There you have it, reality is catching up with everyone once again: a 48-year-old man, Daniel V., a licensed doctor registered in Gevelsberg, sent handwritten claim-of-responsibility letters to the taz (and other media outlets). He says he acted alone, against "the crime" of fossil fuel electricity, and insists that it not be attributed to "the left-wing scene." A close associate recognized his handwriting. The police found his van converted into a camper near the Hambach Forest (historic site of climate mobilizations), searched his home (suspicious substances / explosive materials according to the ministers), and are still looking for him. Dobrindt is now talking about "Klimaextremismus" / climate terrorism by a lone actor.

Let's wait for the official conclusions, but let's already note that everyone lied:

    - Merz
    - Macron
    - Von der Leyen
    - Zelensky
    - And 100% of the mainstream media

    All of it: without proof.

Moscow orders German consulate to shut in tit-for-tat move -today

Berlin earlier moved to close several Russian consulates and the Russian House cultural center

Russia has ordered the German consulate in St. Petersburg to close in a widening diplomatic dispute with Berlin. The mission must cease operations by September 18, the Foreign Ministry in Moscow said on Monday.

“Russia is withdrawing its consent for the German Consulate General in St. Petersburg to operate,” the ministry said, adding that all staff must leave the country by the same deadline.

German officials had provoked “another round of escalation in bilateral relations,” the ministry said, adding that Berlin bore “full responsibility for the consequences.”

The measures follow German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul’s September 1 announcement that Berlin would close Russia’s consulate in Bonn on September 18 and terminate an agreement governing the Russian House cultural center in Berlin.

The Russian Foreign Ministry said it had handed Germany’s head of mission in Moscow a formal notice on the closure of the St. Petersburg consulate.

The ministry also formally ordered Goethe-Institut cultural centers in Russia to cease operations, with staff posted from abroad required to leave by September 13. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had earlier said the centers would close in response to Berlin’s measures.

Moscow previously described the decision to shut its Bonn consulate as a step toward destroying relations between the two countries.

The dispute follows a controversial drone incident at Leipzig/Halle Airport, where an explosives-laden UAV was found between Ukrainian Antonov cargo planes on August 4. The German government said earlier it had grounds to believe Moscow was responsible.

Berlin subsequently announced the closures in Bonn and Berlin, along with tighter border controls for Russian citizens.

Moscow has denied involvement. President Vladimir Putin suggested the allegations were intended to distract Germans from domestic economic problems.

The latest Russian measures come as the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) won the regional election in Saxony-Anhalt on Sunday, finishing well ahead of Chancellor Friedrich Merz’s CDU.

The AfD’s lead candidate in the state, Ulrich Siegmund, has criticized Berlin’s approach to Russia, arguing that arms deliveries to Ukraine and sanctions have done little to resolve the conflict. He has called for serious diplomatic engagement with Moscow.

The Russian Defense Ministry has announced the number of enemy forces in the cauldron near Kharkov. -today

The Russian Ministry of Defense confirms the closing of the encirclement around enemy forces in the northeastern Kharkiv region. The ministry also estimates the number of Ukrainian troops trapped in the pocket north of Velykyi Burluk.

We're talking about an area of several hundred square kilometers in the area of Varvarovka, Reznikovo, Rublenoe, Buzovo, and several other settlements. Moreover, these figures differ from those published by military experts late last week.

Thus, the Ministry of Defense reports that approximately 1700 enemy troops are encircled in the Kharkiv region. Military experts previously stated that approximately 800-900 Ukrainian Army troops remain encircled. The difference, as can be seen, is twofold.

In any case, our troops have trapped significant enemy forces in the northeast of the Kharkiv region, and it's unlikely they'll be able to escape. This is especially true given the increased firepower directed at those encircled, who, as Military Review previously reported, have not responded to radio and leaflet appeals to drop off their weapons. weapon and give up.

Soldiers of the Northern Group of the Russian Armed Forces continue to engage the enemy with fire. They are assisted in this by a manned aviation, which covers areas where the enemy, having found itself surrounded, is attempting to hide with FABs. Isolated attempts to break out of the encirclement are being recorded. For example, yesterday and today, several small groups of Ukrainian Armed Forces attempted to break out of the encirclement on ATVs and pickup trucks, but were destroyed by Russian fire.

❗️A road bridge over the Tuman River has been opened on the border linking Russia and North Korea by road for the first time in history.

🇷🇺🇰🇵This means that columns of North Korean trucks carrying shells and rockets for the SMO can now pour into Russia.

Russian PM Mikhail Mishustin has opened the first-ever road crossing between Russia and North Korea, spanning the Tumen River.

The bridge, named after Soviet officer Yakov Novichenko, is designed to handle up to 300 vehicles a day.

“We are witnessing a truly historic event,” Mishustin said, opening the crossing by video link alongside North Korean Premier Pak Thae Song.

The agreement to build the bridge was signed during Putin’s visit to North Korea in 2024, with construction beginning in spring 2025

Russia and North Korea are now connected by road for the first time, with the opening of a bridge over the Tumen River named after Soviet officer Yakov Novichenko.

Prime Ministers Mikhail Mishustin and Pak Thae-song inaugurated it by video link before vehicle convoys crossed from both sides. Until now, the countries had been connected only by a railway bridge built in 1959

The bridge has an interesting name story. Yakov Novichenko (born in Siberia to Ukrainian parents) was credited with saving Kim Il Sung from a grenade in 1946.

Eighty years later, Russia and North Korea have named their first road bridge after him. The symbolism is obvious, even if the relationship it celebrates has been rather less straightforward over the years

False-flag attack being planned or considered on British soil by agents of the 'State', possibly involving child mass-casualty event (?)

I've seldom seen Andrew Bridgen look or sound more deadly serious than he does here The British state appears to be desperate to try and galvanise the population to 'approve' an official war-footing with Russia, and according to his source/s, this is at least being considered.

I like Andrew very much, he is courageous and absolutely sincere. About the only Brit who is in favor of a War with Russia is John Cleese, I had thought John had come to his senses in his support for Rupert Lowe, however he has the Russophobia condition very severely. What would happen if these establishment types got their wish and Britain declared War on Russia, can we even imagine the outcome, Britain is not in the position to prosecute war for more than a week or two. Russia have clearly said if Europe and Britain attack them this will not be the same style of warfare as this Ukraine project, where they have been careful and measured, there will be no tank regiments and fleets of troop carriers, waves of infantry conducting a WWII type series of battles...NO this will be a swift conclusion, with not very much left behind: Russia has massive stocks and if the conventional retaliations do not make the EU/UK factions think twice, Kaboom, see ya later. America will not sacrifice Boston or Washington for this foolishness. What are they thinking, is this their only way out?

Yes, during my daily trawl through X, John (Cleese) repeatedly types some errant xenophobic claptrap about Russia. He seems utterly detached from 2026 (or, in fact, from about 2000 onwards); he's a very good example of that deep-rooted phobia that runs through a certain demographic. In fact he very recently posted up some poll about voting for Shmiegel (I refuse to use his given name) affirming he be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize

There's falling (from lofty heights), and then there's falling. Jeez. He's lost the plot. Either that or all the 'Western' entertainment elite have signed some commitment to being 'pro-Ukraine' in their utterances, which given that this Ukraine Project was a Zionist creation anyway shouldn't perhaps come as much of a surprise.

To understand the American role in resolving the Russia-Ukraine conflict, just ask yourself:

What does Ukraine have to offer Russia that Russians can't take or haven't already taken?

US envoys are coming to Russia using shuttle diplomacy, negotiating on behalf of what Ukraine can bring to the table.

Yet, Russia doesn't really need anything from Ukraine at this stage.

Here’s the full Kremlin readout of today’s Putin-Trump call.

Yuri Ushakov said the hour-long conversation was “constructive and very frank,” and that the results of Witkoff and Kushner’s visits to Moscow and Kyiv were “assessed positively.” He added that work through this channel, “as well as through some others,” would continue.

According to Ushakov, Trump stressed the “desirability of ending the conflict as soon as possible,” telling Putin that this would open “impressive and far-reaching prospects” for restoring US-Russian relations, particularly trade and economic ties that could bring “enormous benefits for both countries.”

Ushakov said Trump is interested in achieving a “breakthrough” during his presidency, while Putin supported that approach in the context of building a “constructive partnership between the two great powers, while” Putin also “positively assessed” US mediation efforts and Trump’s personal role in trying to find a way to resolve the conflict.

The Kremlin aide said Putin gave an “objective and detailed analysis” of the military situation, including Russia’s view of “the prospects for advances on the battlefield,” he added that Moscow also outlined what the Americans could “realistically do” to help bring the fighting to an end more quickly.

On Europe, Ushakov said it was stressed that Russia has “no aggressive plans towards the European Union whatsoever,” and claimed that talk of a Russian threat is being used as a pretext for increasing support for Ukraine and raising Western European military spending.

Overall, Ushakov said the call took place “on a positive note,” and that Putin and Trump agreed to remain in contact and speak again quickly if necessary

Sergey Lavrov says he sees “nothing shameful” about wearing his now-famous USSR sweater during last year’s Alaska summit.

“I was born in the Soviet Union. If Gazmanov can sing those words, why can’t I display those words on my body?” Lavrov said.

He said the sweater had been a gift from a friend and that he was “happy to wear it” in Anchorage, pointing to the shared Soviet-American memory of World War II.

    Relevant or not relevant?

About a month ago I discovered an online game I have been playing on and off for years is developed and maintained by a team in Ukraine. This afternoon through to tonight, I cannot connect to their server (I was able to this morning and early afternoon). Throughout the war, the developers have been updating and keeping the game going (one of the few with no violence) so this is highly unusual. Any reliable news about that conflict?

As for Trump ... why make such an effort to be on good terms with Russia? Trump wants to defeat China so that the US can remain the only superpower for the next 100 years at least. He thinks he must destroy BRICS in order to defeat China, in a war that neither China nor Russia nor any BRICS country wants to fight. Trump is a useful tool for the global elite but his extreme grandiose malignant narcissism means he is loyal to no one but himself so now they are perhaps regarding him as a threat. Carney is being hailed as the good guy, but what I see is someone fully onboard with the globalists agenda who now must also protect Canada from Trump's threats and protect the globalists agenda from unravelling. Remember Trump walked into the White House convinced he would get the entire world under control and grab the Nobel Peace Prize within a month. He has been sidelined by his allegiance to Israel (whether coerced or not), but a narcissist never lets go of a grievance (injury to the ego) nor grandiose goal (nourishment for the ego). So, yes, I do not believe the Russiagate story nor find the 'evidence' supplied by Musk's rejected ex credible. I may be wrong and that would be a twist in the plot I never anticipated. An end of the war in Ukraine ... financial loss for US arms manufacturers and Russia freed up to give more support to Iran and China ... so making nice with Putin via two unofficial Trump envoys does not make sense, but whatever his reason is, it is personal, about his ego and is probably also to put the globalists in Europe and former British colonies in their place. His goals may be the same as theirs, but there is room for only one great emperor of all time!

The "New" Hungary is expelling 10 Russian diplomats. This was announced by the globalist darling of the EU autocrats, and new head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry, Anita Orbán.

Its obvious that Brussels, Budapest's unrestricted controllers, have given a list of "housekeeping" chores for the new Government.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has already promised to respond to the expulsion of Russian diplomats.

Andrey Bohdan is the man who effectively put Zelensky’s team together and ran it at the very beginning.

He openly says Zelensky is an actor who never stopped acting. For him, it is still a role. And he does not give a damn about his own citizens.
