In this new publication, I wanted to include a series of initial reflections on the New Testament; I also chose to respond in detail to the most significant objection raised against me by Jewish-Christian exegesis: the one concerning the term Elohim—whether it is plural or singular, and whether it refers to God or not. It is, in fact, essential to determine whether the Bible speaks of the one God or not. This work is therefore an exploration of various themes, undertaken with the intent of highlighting the fundamental question concerning our relationship with that book, about which I ask myself the following questions: Regarding the Old Testament, have those who claim to possess knowledge accurately conveyed what it truly contains? As for the New Testament, as will become clear from the content of this work, the question is necessarily different: Did the authors write the truth? For me, the answer is obvious in both cases: absolutely not. As for the Old Testament, they did not merely omit certain details; they went far beyond that and deliberately and shamelessly invented what is not there. As for the New Testament, the architects of the deception were first and foremost the writers—those who invented the figure of Christ, which is quite different from the historical figure of the Jewish messianic preacher.

The result of a lifetime of research on alien interference, Alien cicatrix teaches readers how to analyze and address the UFO phenomenon from a technical and scientific perspective, so that anyone can conduct their own research in this field completely independently. This new edition, in the definitive form that Malanga intended, has been revised by him to incorporate the findings of his studies on Consciousness—with surprising results that, backed by data, allow us to lift the veil covering alien phenomena once and for all, restoring to us that clear vision of reality that will lead us to the final revolution. The book describes and analyzes the main alien races and the various levels of interference they employ; it examines the interrelationships among the aliens and between them and World Government groups; it illustrates the goals and techniques of subjugation used by the aliens and the military personnel colluding with them; and, above all, it provides those who are subjected to this influence with all the tools necessary to understand and overcome the alien problem. A work with content that is “absolutely incredible and yet totally real,” which today takes on a prophetic significance more than ever before.

The "Friendship" case is the world's longest-running case of alien contact and involves more people than any other. It continues today throughout the world. These are completely physical contacts with the people of other worlds, not mystical channelings and speculations. These facts make "Amicizia" a unique Rosetta Stone for understanding the UFO phenomenon and humanity's place in the Cosmos. This is the second book by Stefano Breccia, an Italian engineer and university professor who was intimately involved in the Amicizia contacts. In 2009, his book "Mass Contacts" first introduced the Amicizia experiences to a worldwide audience. Its contents were a revelation even to most Ufologists. Before he died unexpectedly in early 2012 Breccia completed this book, "50 Years of Amicizia (Friendship)." Building on the first book, most of it is information never published before. A glance at some of its surprises make it clear that this is not just another UFO book: * The most detailed, complete, technical description of a saucer propulsion system ever published. * Analysis of the clear colour photograph of an 8 foot tall alien crew member. * The transcript of a crew conversation of an Akrij saucer, including a landing and emergency take-off when it came under fire. * Breccia's description and data from his own flight in a "flying saucer." * Photographs of the interior of an alien craft. With an introduction by Dr Roberto Pinotti and contributions from Teresa Barbatelli, Paolo di Girolamo, Connie Menger, Carlo Bolla and others, the book is destined to become a classic. This is Breccia's final witness to the reality that we have friends among us who are ready to help us move forward and join them in the greater community of our galaxy.

Mass Contacts is an astounding story that says that Contact has begun from one who knows. A detailed report of contacts with human type aliens on the Adriatic coast, which answers many of our questions, this book is a milestone for ufologists wh study Contact. They were here and many look like us! It's time for disclosure.

Who are the extraterrestrials? What relationship do they have with eminent Catholic entities such as the Virgin Mary? What are these entities’ intentions? Why do they continue to send prophetic messages regarding imminent catastrophic events? What should we expect? People have been talking about UFOs for years, but the debate remains stuck between believers in the extraterrestrial hypothesis and skeptics who deny the phenomenon. Very little is discussed regarding their occupants and their intentions. At the same time, there is a phenomenon linked to apparitions of religious figures. When examined closely, the two phenomena reveal surprising similarities. This book draws on the work of leading authors on the subject and proposes new hypotheses regarding their origin, their intentions, and what this means for all of us.

TOTH’S TESTAMENT AND THE TEMPLE UNDER THE SPHINX
    Adriano Forgione

The idea that secret texts or primordial archives are hidden beneath the Sphinx of Giza is not merely a 20th-century invention or a notion first proposed by Edgar Cayce. If we piece together the evidence—both ancient and modern—a surprisingly coherent thread emerges: from Pharaonic mythology to the documents of a 20th-century intelligence agency, the hypothesis of an “archive chamber” beneath the Sphinx appears as a concrete possibility, rooted in ancient traditions and resurfacing in a nearly karst-like manner in recent history. One of the oldest pieces of this mosaic is the so-called Harris 501 Magic Papyrus, now in the British Museum, dating to the 20th Dynasty, the era of Ramses IX. The text, written in hieratic, likely originates from the Theban region, perhaps from a tomb near the Medinet Habu complex.

In those years, the Sphinx was already a revered monument, known as Hor-akhty (“Horus of the Horizon”) and, in a slightly later period, as Hor-em-akhet (“Horus in the Horizon”), the same name that appears prominently on the Dream Stele of Thutmose IV. The lion-like colossus was not merely a stone guardian, but a cultic focal point linked to the rising sun and cosmic kingship. In the central passage of the papyrus, brought to light by researcher Manu Seyfzadeh, we find a detail that, when read with an initiatory eye, becomes decisive. It speaks of Thoth, the great scribal god, lord of the sacred library of Heliopolis. It is he who drafts a “testament,” a written will that preserves knowledge of divine origin. And this document, the text tells us, is placed “under the feet of Re-Hor-akhty.” The phrasing leaves no room for ambiguity: not “near,” not “before,” but “under” the feet of the solar manifestation which, in later theology, is identified precisely with the figure of the Sphinx. If we take this indication seriously, we are no longer merely in the realm of metaphor. A “testament” of Thoth, drafted and preserved in the Heliopolitan library, is physically transferred to the place that embodies the threshold between heaven and earth. In modern terms, we could say that the Egyptians themselves speak of a repository of knowledge—an archive in the full sense of the word—located beneath the body of what we identify today as the Great Sphinx. It is not difficult to recognize in this tradition the distant origin of what, millennia later, would be called the “Hall of Records.” This line of thought, already powerful in itself, finds a surprising echo in a document of an entirely different nature and origin: an internal CIA photographic cataloging protocol, dated November 20, 1952, and declassified in 1999. This is not an esoteric text, but a dry list of eleven rolls of black-and-white negatives, taken between July and December 1950, covering a wide geographical range: Afghanistan, the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, Egypt, and Sudan.

It is precisely in this context—emerging in the midst of the Cold War—that a notation appears destined to capture the attention of anyone interested in Giza. Among the image captions, alongside entries such as “Spinning mechanism at Baalbek, Lebanon; July ’50”—a “rotating mechanism at Baalbek,” which is intriguing in and of itself when we consider the site’s colossal megalithic structures—we find, at number 15: “Temple under Sphinx; July ’50.” In the same block, we find “Sphinx” at No. 14, “Ruins near Sphinx” at No. 16, and “Temple of Cheops” at No. 17: we are, without a doubt, on the Giza Plateau. What does “Temple under Sphinx” mean in an operational document from the 1950s? The temples we know—the Temple of the Sphinx and the Valley Temple—are in front of and to the side of the monument, not literally beneath it. The choice of words, in an archival context, is not accidental: whoever filled out the form had to clearly distinguish the subjects of the photographs. If they had wanted to refer to the already known and visible temples, they could have used conventional terms (“Sphinx Temple,” “Valley Temple”). Here, however, a description appears that seems to refer to something different: a temple in direct spatial relation to the Sphinx’s subsurface. The combination is, to say the least, intriguing. On the one hand, an Egyptian text from the New Kingdom that speaks of a “testament of Thoth” located “beneath the feet” of Hor-akhty—that is, the Sphinx. On the other, a CIA photographic archive that records, in 1950, a series of shots taken at Giza, including one cataloged as “Temple under Sphinx.” It is as if two distant eras—the Ramesside period and the post-World War II era—were joining hands to point to the same location: a temple complex, or at least a significant structure, situated beneath Egypt’s most enigmatic monument. Of course, we do not yet have the photographs attached to the CIA form, nor an explanatory report detailing the context of that shot. But if we accept that the language of sacred texts and that of technical documents can, at different times, record fragments of the same reality, then the scenario that is taking shape deserves to be explored without prejudice, especially in light of all the other evidence that exists today. Is it possible that, between the late 1940s and early 1950s, groups of Western technicians documented structures, cavities, or entrances not yet known to the general public, identifying them as the “temple beneath the Sphinx”? Is it possible that some of this evidence remained confined for decades in military and intelligence archives, reemerging only in the form of lists and acronyms? If we combine the terminology of the Harris Papyrus with that of the CIA form, the “Hall of Records” ceases to be merely an early 20th-century legend and becomes a structured historical hypothesis: an underground complex—whether a temple, a place of worship, or an archive—linked to the figure of the Sphinx, already perceived as a repository of knowledge in Pharaonic times and once again the focus of discreet attention at the height of the Cold War. From this perspective, the myth is not a later invention but a distorted memory of an older reality, revisited and reinterpreted by successive generations of priests, explorers, researchers, and intelligence agencies. This is where the research begins. Modern geophysical technologies, controlled excavations, and cross-referencing of ancient texts and 20th-century documents may, in the coming years, provide us with new pieces of the puzzle. But even today, the convergence between the “Testament of Thoth beneath the feet of Re-Hor-akhty” and the “Temple under the Sphinx” from a 1952 CIA list suggests that the hypothesis of a real structure beneath the Sphinx no longer belongs solely to esoteric fantasy. It is a concrete lead, laid out in black and white by those who, in different eras and using different languages, have pointed to something important beneath that colossal stone: a place of power, of memory, and, perhaps, of archives yet to be unearthed.

The history of science, as narrated by the modern academy, often suffers from a profound chronological and spiritual myopia. We are taught to view the "scientific revolution" as a sudden awakening from a long slumber of superstition, yet we frequently overlook the fact that the foundations of our measurement—our very understanding of time, space, and the cosmos—were laid not by secular observers, but by the great Initiates of antiquity.
The essay presented here, Ancestral Knowledges and the Minoan Legacy of Ancient Greek Science, seeks to restore this lost dimension, peeling back the layers of Cartesian materialism to reveal a world where the calculation of a meridian and the performance of a sacred rite were two halves of a single, indivisible Truth.
Central to this exploration is the recognition that the "scientists" of the Greek and proto-Greek worlds—from the shadowy masters of the Minoan thalassocracy to the late Neoplatonists—operated within a framework of Sacred Science. To these figures, the universe was not a cold machine to be dissected, but a living Cosmos—an ordered beauty—whose laws were gifted by the Gods.
The author masterfully demonstrates that the sophisticated data found in the works of Eratosthenes, Hipparchus, and Eudoxus was not merely the result of contemporary "discovery", but the inheritance of an ancestral legacy, often encoded within the symbolic language of myth to protect it from the uninitiated.
Perhaps the most compelling evidence presented in this work is the "Aratus Enigma". By examining the Phaenomena through the lens of archaeoastronomy, the author highlights a staggering reality: the sky described in this Hellenistic poem corresponds not to the heavens of the 3rd century B.C., but to the stars as they appeared over Crete two millennia prior. This discovery bridges the gap between the Megalithic cultures of Western Europe and the Minoan centers of power, revealing a unified mathematical and astronomical tradition—a "Titan" science—that preceded the Indo-European shifts of the Iron Age.
In these pages, the reader will find a rigorous dismantling of the "moral superiority" often claimed by post-Enlightenment thought. By reintegrating the esoteric—the Mystery Schools of Eleusis, the priestly castes of Egypt, and the hidden metrics of the Sumerians—the author provides a key to understanding why the ancients built as they did and how they navigated the globe with a precision that moderns are only now beginning to credit. This essay is an invitation to look upward with the eyes of the ancients: to see the stars not just as distant nuclear furnaces, but as the guardians of a Precessional Code that still dictates the rhythm of human civilization.

HOLLOW EARTH: WHAT MIGHT BE TRUE - Part 1
    Silvia Matricardi

The myth of the Hollow Earth and Admiral Richard E. Byrd’s “secret diary,” viewed not as mere hoaxes or literal accounts, but as a profound intellectual and philosophical exercise. Through a methodological analysis of the disinformation technique the author calls the “absurdity sandwich”—the insertion of a fragment of inconvenient truth between two layers of grotesque elements to ensure its ridicule and consequent survival—the text decodes the anomalies of Operation Highjump (1946–47).
The investigation then shifts to the realm of theoretical physics, exploring how modern concepts such as Einstein-Rosen wormholes, bridges between dimensional fragments, gravitomagnetism, and plasma lens effects can provide a scientific framework for the idea of cyclical spacetime portals located at the poles. Finally, the difficulty of the human mind and language in translating hyperspace experiences is analyzed, tracing a narrative thread that unites the non-Euclidean geometries of H.P. Lovecraft, the intuitions of Philip K. Dick, the esoteric obsession of the Third Reich, and borderline literature.

Before we begin: this article is the result of a synthesis of a lengthy exchange with the artificial intelligence DeepSeek and should be considered fundamentally an intellectual exercise.

    The Mystery Surrounding Admiral Byrd
The “secret diary” of Admiral Richard E. Byrd (1888–1957), an aviation pioneer decorated with the Medal of Honor, has been circulating online for decades. In 1946–47, Byrd led Operation Highjump in Antarctica: the largest expedition ever sent to the poles (4,700 men, 13 ships, 33 aircraft). Officially a training mission cut short due to bad weather, it left open the suspicion that the massive scale of the operation was intended to monitor anomalies in the area.
The contents of the alleged diary are astonishing: Byrd is said to have flown over a temperate landmass at the North Pole, encountered an advanced civilization inside the Hollow Earth, received a warning about the use of the atom, and, upon his return, been silenced by the Pentagon.
How much truth could there be to this story, which emerged at a time when silence and derision were the common weapons used to stifle any “inconvenient” narrative? What might the gray areas be?
Many of Admiral Byrd’s diaries and logbooks are preserved at the Byrd Polar and Climate Research Center at Ohio State University; they are meticulous, technical documents filled with meteorological observations and coordinates.
The story of the secret diary surfaced in the 1970s, spread by an organization called the International Society for a Complete Earth, a group linked to hollow Earth theories, which view our planet as the “outer shell” of another world—an inner world inhabited by a technologically advanced civilization. The same story resurfaced with a vengeance in 1995 during a radio program hosted by Art Bell, where a man claiming to be Byrd’s grandson (who turned out to be an impostor) recounted the story.
The alleged diary has never been physically produced. It does not exist in Byrd’s archives or in military archives. The diary describes a flight to the North Pole. But Operation Highjump in 1947 took place in Antarctica, at the South Pole. The text is a collage of elements typical of 1930s and 1940s science fiction (hollow Earth, crystal cities, flying saucers) and conspiracy theories about UFOs and alleged Nazis in Antarctica. The International Society for a Complete Earth was an esoteric and New Age group that had every interest in spreading stories that confirmed its beliefs.
So was it just a hoax, and is there nothing more to say?
Let’s try to put this into context and dig a little deeper. Until the late 1990s, the U.S. government implemented a deliberate and massive strategy to ridicule the UFO phenomenon (so intense that they were forced to change the name of the phenomenon when they decided to shift their approach). Project Blue Book and the Robertson Report (1953) advised the CIA to downplay and publicly mock the sightings. This climate meant that anyone—even an admiral—who reported an anomalous sighting would have been exposed to ridicule or forced into silence.
Admiral Byrd told the Chilean newspaper El Mercurio (March 5, 1947) that “defensive measures against enemy aviators coming from the polar regions” were necessary. Perhaps this was not a reflection on the onset of the Cold War, but something more disturbing that he could not express otherwise.
The premature end of the mission, when considered alongside this statement, provides clues that may fuel the suspicion that something frightened Byrd and prompted the U.S. to halt Operation Highjump (which literally means “jump high”). According to some sources, which rely on an alleged Soviet intelligence report made public after the fall of the USSR (though never officially confirmed), the expedition encountered unidentified flying objects that emerged from the ocean and attacked the ships with “energy beams.” The mission’s original logbooks have never been made public and are said to have been classified. The mystery deepens with the death of the admiral’s son, Richard Byrd Jr., in 1988. He was traveling by train to an event to speak publicly about his father and the mission, but was found dead in an abandoned warehouse. Officially, his death was attributed to a state of confusion caused by Alzheimer’s disease, which led to disorientation and a lethal level of malnutrition and dehydration.
    The “Absurdity Sandwich” Technique
To circulate a dangerous truth without being eliminated or ridiculed, the “absurdity sandwich” technique has often been used; it is also useful when an inconvenient truth has already leaked out and needs to be obscured.
The technique is simple. Between two slices of bread—elements so absurd that the entire story will be dismissed as fantasy or a hallucination caused by the abuse of psychotropic substances—a thin slice of filling is inserted: a fragment of uncomfortable truth.
The slices of bread serve the mainstream (and the masses) to discard the entire sandwich. Those who can read between the lines will recognize the filling, which can then be disclosed without suffering retaliation. The more outlandishly absurd the slices of bread are, the safer the whistleblower is by playing the role of “the madman.”
This technique is historically documented and was used not only by intelligence agencies but also by scientists, journalists, and military personnel who wanted to reveal secrets without facing retaliation.
Obviously, it’s impossible to objectively distinguish the “bread” from the “filling,” but if we apply this hypothesis to Byrd’s secret diary, we might imagine that the “filling”—as well as Operation Highjump—encountered something highly anomalous, which halted the mission after just eight weeks instead of the planned eight months. Something that frightened the admiral and was classified. The “slices of bread” could be the geographical error and all or part of the fantastical elements, deliberately added to make the story easy to ridicule.
Admiral Byrd remains a hero and an extraordinary explorer. If there is a secret about Antarctica, if Operation Highjump is hiding something, perhaps we’ll find out with the upcoming installments of the ongoing disclosure, or it will remain indefinitely in the classified archives.
Here, however, it is more interesting to point out that we wouldn’t be here asking ourselves these questions if it weren’t for that fake secret diary.
    Hypotheses Beyond the Boundary
Let’s start with a bold premise and venture into some hypotheses beyond the boundary. If a portal to “another world” truly opened cyclically at the North Pole, how could this be explained? We’re talking about cyclical portals, because if they were stable and fixed, they might be systematically detected with current instruments. Therefore, if we imagine for a moment that they exist, they would necessarily have to be phenomena that appear and disappear.
Do theories in physics support such a possibility in the abstract, or could they conceive of it? Our planet’s poles are the points of maximum convergence of the solar wind and magnetic field lines, and of minimum tangential velocity—the ideal context for focusing any instabilities or anomalous energy distributions.

Wormholes. Einstein’s theory of general relativity allows for the existence of wormholes—shortcuts through spacetime that connect two distant regions of the universe, or even two different universes. A stable wormhole would require the existence of exotic matter (with negative energy density) to remain open. This matter, which is theoretical but has never been observed, could be generated by extreme quantum fluctuations or by dark energy fields. At the poles, there may be particularly favorable conditions for spacetime curvature, amplified by Earth’s rotation and the presence of magnetic fields. A wormhole could open periodically during gravitational alignments (for example, with the Moon or the outer planets) or during peaks in solar activity, which locally alter the curvature of spacetime.

Micro-black holes or primordial singularities. Some cosmological models predict that black holes of very small mass formed in the early universe. Some might be trapped inside planets or stars. A micro-black hole with a mass comparable to that of an asteroid, but of subatomic size, could be anchored to the Earth’s core or to the polar magnetic field. If its rotation or its interaction with the surrounding matter were to enter a phase of instability, it could generate a lensing effect that distorts spacetime, creating a portal. The magnetic field lines, which are more concentrated at the poles, and the trapped exotic matter could interact with the field to produce quantum “tunneling” phenomena on a macroscopic scale. The instability could be triggered by periodic variations in Earth’s magnetic field (polarity reversal) or by gravitational waves originating from distant cosmic events.

Distortions of the quantum vacuum and fluctuations in dark energy. According to quantum mechanics, the vacuum is not empty but teems with virtual particles that appear and disappear. In the presence of extreme gravitational fields or particularly high energy densities, these fluctuations could give rise to bubbles of altered spacetime. In some regions, the density of dark energy could fluctuate, creating a “bubble” where the laws of physics are different. Passing through this bubble could lead to another universe or another era. The poles could be sites of constructive interference between residual gravitational waves from the Big Bang and vacuum fluctuations. Dark energy is thought to be constant, but recent models (such as quintessence) view it as dynamic. A cycle could be linked to the expansion of the universe itself, which on very short timescales (for us humans, centuries or millennia) could exhibit local oscillations.

Gravitomagnetism. The Earth is a rotating body, and general relativity predicts that a rotating mass “drags” the surrounding spacetime (the Lense–Thirring effect). At the poles, where the rotation speed is zero but the gravitomagnetic field is strongest, rings of spacetime vorticity could form. If the differential rotation between the Earth’s solid core and fluid mantle generated a sufficiently intense gravitomagnetic field, this could produce a funnel-shaped distortion of spacetime. If the distortion exceeds a critical threshold, a bridge could form. The differential rotation of the core could have cycles lasting decades or centuries, influenced by seismic events or interactions with the Sun’s magnetic field.

Dimensional portals. In string theory and brane cosmology, our universe could be a “brane” (a three-dimensional membrane) embedded in a higher-dimensional space. Other branes might exist at infinitesimal distances from ours. At certain points, the branes might come into contact or “oscillate” until they touch. This contact would open a dimensional rift, a passage to a parallel universe. Interactions between branes are influenced by energy density and curvature. The polar regions could be points of minimum curvature but maximum quantum fluctuation, favoring intersection. The oscillations of the branes could have regular periods, dictated by the tension of cosmic strings or by the expansion/contraction cycles of the universe (ekpyrotic models).

Ionospheric phenomena. Some plasma physicists have hypothesized that at the poles, where charged particles from the solar wind are channeled, coherent plasma structures may form that generate extreme electromagnetic fields. A high-energy plasma, interacting with Earth’s magnetic field, could produce an artificial gravitational lens or an effect of “induced curvature” effect. Some have spoken of “plasma mirrors” that could reflect or distort light and space. The Pole is the only place where spiraling charged particles arrive vertically, creating a sort of energetic “exhaust pipe.” The accumulated energy could occasionally exceed a critical threshold, opening a passage. This cyclical nature could be linked to the 11-year solar cycles (or the longer 22- and 100-year cycles), which modulate the intensity of the solar wind.
Modern physics teaches us that the universe is far stranger than we imagine. Dark matter, dark energy, extra dimensions, wormholes—these are all mathematically possible concepts, even if they have not yet been verified.
If a portal were to open cyclically at the North Pole, a scientific explanation might draw on one of these models. Or perhaps on something we haven’t even imagined yet, such as a quantum singularity induced by the interaction between Earth’s magnetic field and background gravitational waves, or a topological defect in spacetime inherited from the Big Bang.
The fascinating thing is that, even though Byrd’s “secret diary” is almost certainly a forgery, the question you’ve led us to ask is a legitimate one: what if there were a real, as-yet-unexplained physical phenomenon manifesting itself at the poles? Science hasn’t discovered it yet, but history is full of phenomena that were once considered impossible and are now reality.
Perhaps, rather than searching for answers, we need to learn to ask the right questions.
Let’s push even further beyond the boundary
Now let’s try to imagine not only that such a cyclic portal exists, but that it connects two worlds—ours with another—making it appear as though the other world is “inside” ours. Would that be scientifically conceivable?
Purely speculatively speaking, yes—that is exactly what some physical and topological models predict. It is not a “hole in the ground,” but a distortion of the geometry of spacetime that overturns our intuitions about “inside” and “outside.”
An Einstein–Rosen wormhole is not a tunnel passing through a physical hole in the Earth, but a shortcut through spacetime. If the two mouths of the wormhole are positioned appropriately, one of the universes (or a region of the same universe) may appear to be enclosed within the other. If the mouth of the wormhole is a sphere, from the outside you would see a surface that reflects the outside world, but if you approach it and pass through it, you find yourself in a place that, from the inside, looks like a huge hollow space. The geometry is similar to that of a Riemannian sphere: the outside and the inside are topologically equivalent, but human perception sees them as separate.
In string theory and brane cosmology, our universe is a three-dimensional membrane (3-brane) embedded in a higher-dimensional space (bulk). Other branes may exist parallel to ours, separated by infinitesimal but inaccessible distances. If a portal opens between two branes, from our perspective the other brane might appear as an internal universe because the extra dimensions are curved. It is as if our three-dimensional space were the surface of a balloon, and another surface (another brane) were just inside it, separated by a layer of “extra space.” A portal would be a hole connecting the two surfaces, making the second one appear to be contained within the first. This type of connection could open periodically when the two branes oscillate or enter into resonance, like two membranes vibrating at the same frequency.
Some cosmological models, such as those based on fractal geometry or the theory of Type III parallel universes (according to Tegmark’s classification), suggest that the universe may have a hierarchical structure, where smaller universes are nested within larger ones. If our universe is an expanding bubble, there could be a region where the curvature is so extreme that it creates a “funnel” leading to another bubble—either smaller or larger. When passing through the funnel, the other bubble would appear as an inner world, precisely because the curvature of spacetime causes geodesics (straight lines) to close in on themselves, creating the illusion of a cavity. Analogy with the Poincaré sphere: In topology, a three-dimensional sphere can be viewed as two small spheres glued together along the edge. If our region is one of these balls, the other is “inside” in the sense that it is topologically enclosed, even though it is physically separate.
In quantum mechanics, the tunnel effect allows a particle to pass through an energy barrier that, classically, would be insurmountable. Extending the concept to the macroscopic scale, a spacetime quantum tunnel could connect two quantum states of the universe (two different vacua). If the tunnel opens in a polar region, matter passing through it would experience a reversal of coordinates—what was outside becomes inside, because conservation laws (such as parity) could be locally violated. The observer would see the other world as a cavity opening in the ice, but in reality, it is crossing a barrier between two configurations of the vacuum.
For such a portal to be cyclical, there would need to be a critical threshold reached periodically. This could be a planetary alignment (combined gravitational effect), a peak in solar activity (solar wind and magnetic field), a cycle of the Earth’s magnetic field (polarity reversal, which alters the local topology), or an oscillation of the strings (in the case of string theories).
In all these cases, the geometry of spacetime would warp to create a passage, and the other world would appear to be contained within our own, because its entrance would open in a limited region (the Pole), but its internal extent would be potentially infinite.
    The Journey Through the Portal
Assuming the portal exists and connects two worlds, let’s imagine that Mr. X—a lone explorer or researcher—finds himself exactly at the point and moment when the portal opens. His experience, from initial perception through passage to arrival, would likely be a mixture of altered senses, unusual physical phenomena, and profound psychological transformations. Mr. X would not see a “hole” in the ice, but rather a distortion of light and space. The air above the ice would begin to shimmer like a flame, but with colors that do not belong to the human visible spectrum—perhaps a deep blue, a magnetic purple, or a golden glow. Suddenly, the wind and the sound of his own footsteps would vanish. It would be a silence that is not merely the absence of sound, but the absence of vibration, as if the air itself had come to a standstill. Objects in the background (mountains, clouds) would begin to curve around an invisible point, as if a giant lens were bending the horizon. The sky might display a circular vortex or a funnel-like structure that seems to suck in the light.
Deciding to cross, Mr. X would take a step forward. At that moment, he might perceive not a fall downward, but a sensation of being pulled in all directions at once, as if space were stretching and compressing around him. He might feel stretched like a rubber band. For an instant, he would see colors that the human eye is not designed to perceive—hues that exist only between the lines of the spectrum, or that blend light and darkness in new ways. The silence would be broken by a deep hum, not heard with the ears but felt as a vibration in the bones, as if spacetime itself were “singing.” The subjective sense of time would expand. What might be an instant to an outside observer could last minutes or hours for Mr. X. Or vice versa. Compasses and instruments would go haywire; there would be no spatial references. He might see fragments of images: faces, places, light—like a liquid dream. He would feel as if his body were expanding to fill all of space, only to contract back into a single point. He might perceive his own body from the outside, as if observing himself from a third-person perspective. For a moment, he might lose his sense of self, as if his thoughts belonged to someone else. He might have simultaneous visions of his past, his future, and places he has never seen. The temperature would fluctuate rapidly, but not like the heat and cold we know: these would be quantum-based thermal gradients that neither warm nor cool the skin but alter the perception of matter.
Emerging from the upper part, Mr. X might perceive an extreme change from what is familiar. The sky might have a different color—perhaps one he’s never seen before. Light might come from multiple sources, or from a source other than the sun—like a diffuse glow enveloping everything. He might feel lighter or heavier. If gravity is different, his movements would be altered: walking might feel like floating or sinking. The air might have a different scent, or no scent at all. It might be denser or more rarefied, affecting his breathing. Perhaps the oxygen is mixed with other gases, making the air “sweeter” or “more acidic.” The topography might be alien and disorienting: mountains curving upward and downward at the same time, rivers flowing in two directions, trees with leaves that glow. He might see geometric structures that bear no resemblance to any human architecture. It might be a silent world, or one filled with sounds he doesn’t recognize—melodies that seem to come from the ground, or whispers he doesn’t understand but that seem to mean something.
Mr. X’s experience would not be merely physical but deeply mental; he might feel as if he had awakened from a dream that had lasted forever, or as if he had entered a deep meditative state. His thoughts would be clearer and, at the same time, more abstract. Time in the other world might pass at a different speed. Hours there might be minutes on Earth, or vice versa. Even if alone, he might sense the presence of others—not necessarily human beings, but perhaps a diffuse consciousness observing and evaluating him. He might have memories of this place, as if he had already been there, or premonitions of what is about to happen.
Passing through an exotic portal would mean not only changing locations, but changing one’s relationship with reality. He might return with the feeling of having touched something sacred, of having seen “behind the scenes” of the universe, yet with the awareness that human words are insufficient to describe it. Their subjective experience, combined with human cognitive biases and cultural conditioning, would lead them to interpret the journey as an exploration of a world within Earth, rather than as a passage through a portal to another dimension. This is because the “sky” he saw may have appeared below or around him, as if he were enveloped by a dome, or gravity might have been oriented differently.
If the sky was a different color, if he did not see the sun or the stars, if the light came from a diffuse, shadowless source, his brain would seek a familiar analogy. The only analogy he knows is that of entering a cave or a huge underground cavern.
If the world he has entered has a closed topology (such as a Dyson sphere or a positively curved universe), the horizon might curve upward, making the landscape appear as if it were inside a sphere. Mr. X would see mountains arching overhead, and if he looked into the distance, he would see the ground rising to form a dome.
In his experience, this would feel as though the sky were touching the earth, or as if he were inside a gigantic sphere. His brain, having always lived on a convex surface, would interpret this experience as if he were inside something, not on top of something.
If the portal is at the North Pole, Mr. X knows he is at the top of the world. If the other world is reached from there, his instinct would tell him that he has gone toward the center of the Earth or inward, not outward.
During the passage, the sensation of falling horizontally or being pulled might be interpreted in hindsight as a descent into a well. To make sense of the experience, his brain would “straighten out” the memory, transforming it into a journey downward.
If the other world contains advanced structures (such as the crystal city in Byrd’s diary), Mr. X would interpret them as constructions of an underground civilization, not as architecture of a parallel universe. The “diffused light” illuminating the world would be described as the aura of the Earth’s core, and the “flying discs” as vehicles traveling through magma.
His entire language will adapt to the metaphor of the interior: “the sun that never sets” will become “the eternal light of the center,” “the mountains that curve” will become “the walls of the cave.”
    What if?
Now let’s theorize that certain figures from the past were Mr. X, or spoke with him. And that their accounts are therefore not fabrications or fantasies but attempts to translate an untranslatable experience.

HOLLOW EARTH: WHAT MIGHT BE TRUE - Part 2
    Silvia Matricardi

    H.P. Lovecraft
Lovecraft built his career on the concept of “cosmic horror” and on the human mind’s inability to comprehend the universe. His stories are filled with non-Euclidean geometries, cyclopean cities, beings that defy biology, and horrors that drive those who behold them mad. Cthulhu would no longer be a fictional monster, but rather an attempt to describe a non-human intelligence that exists across multiple dimensions. Its indefinable “form” would be the result of a human brain attempting to project a 5-dimensional entity into 3D. Non-Euclidean geometries would no longer be a literary device, but a faithful description of the topology of the other world. Houses with angles that do not add up to 360 degrees, staircases leading to attics that are also basements, cities that fold in on themselves—these would be accounts of what he saw, not the product of nightmares. Protagonists who go mad after seeing something would no longer be a cliché, but a realistic consequence of exposure to a reality that overwrites human neural programming. The human brain, exposed to nonlinear logic, could literally crash. The Great Old Ones would not be invented deities, but rough descriptions of beings that inhabit those regions. The fact that Lovecraft calls them “octopuses” or “dragons” would be the limit of his vocabulary, not the limit of their reality.
His writings would no longer be “Gothic horror,” but rather the chronicles of an explorer. They should be read as one reads the accounts of 19th-century explorers who described exotic animals: with skepticism regarding the details, but with attention to the structure of the experience.
The Crystal City would no longer be an image drawn from science fiction, but an attempt to describe a structure made of degenerate matter (perhaps a spacetime crystal, a Dyson sphere, or an aggregate of exotic particles). The human eye, seeing a perfectly smooth and geometric surface, would call it “crystal.” The inclusion of Nazis in the flying saucer stories could be a cultural code indicating advanced military technology, or a misinterpretation: perhaps the beings encountered had a “Nordic” appearance (fair skin, blond hair), and the author, to provide context for his own era, associated them with the Germans. The North Pole instead of the South Pole—the most glaring error—might not actually be an error, because the portal could open at either pole, which are topologically equivalent (they are two points that touch if spacetime is curved). If we accept this hypothesis, the diary is not a forgery but an encrypted text. The absurdities (the hollow Earth, the wise Master, the warnings about the atom) are not evidence of fraud, but defensive layers—an attempt to recount a real experience in a language that the culture of the time could tolerate, while at the same time making it open to ridicule in order to protect the author.
Under this hypothesis, one should not seek the “truth” of detail in their texts but rather examine the structure. The words are unreliable, but the spatial relationships (the city folding in on itself), the physical sensations (the horizontal fall), and the psychological reactions (horror or amazement) are authentic traces. The silences, the gaps, and the descriptions that break off with “I cannot describe” or “I have no words” are the moments when reality has surpassed language. They are the strongest evidence of an authentic experience. Lovecraft speaks of “angles that do not close”; Byrd’s diary speaks of “colors that do not exist”; and the most sensational absurdities—if they are not “slices of bread”—may be the garments the human mind drapes over the inexpressible. Their writings are maps of a territory we do not yet know how to read, but which, perhaps, one day, we will learn to decipher.
The great irony of this hypothetical scenario is that it is precisely because these accounts were relegated to fiction that they have survived. If Lovecraft had written a treatise on physics, it would have been destroyed. By writing stories about “Cthulhu,” he became a classic. And perhaps the most startling thing is that fiction is the only language in which the truth can be told, because the reality they encountered is not made of matter, but of meaning—and meaning, to be conveyed, needs stories.

    Are there others?
In fact, one can identify a common thread running through at least the last two centuries: authors who did not simply invent stories of portals and dimensions, but who may have had direct experience of them, translating the unspeakable into the permissible languages of their time. Their writings could therefore be a fragmentary map of an unknown territory, echoes of experiences that defy our ability to describe and understand them.
Arthur Machen (1863–1947): Considered a master of horror, his stories—such as The Great God Pano and The White People—deal with thresholds that separate our world from an “other” one populated by ancient and malevolent presences. Through our lens, his stories would no longer be fiction, but an attempt to describe the experience of those who have glimpsed a mythological underworld of reality—a formless, primordial realm that exists alongside our own. Machen himself insisted on the difficulty of comprehending certain “fantastic occurrences,” a difficulty that would be genuine for a witness.
Clark Ashton Smith (1893–1961): A friend and correspondent of Lovecraft, Smith explored in his stories the possibility of traveling between dimensions through secret spells and hallucinogenic substances. His twin cities, dreamlike worlds, and impossible geometries take on the meaning of maps of a psychic territory that the author explored, transforming science fiction into an account of inner journeys.
William Hope Hodgson (1877–1918): A favorite author of Lovecraft’s, Hodgson set his horrors in borderline locations such as the Bermuda Triangle or in marine and cosmic abysses (The House on the Abyss, The Night-Land) . His descriptions of monstrosities originating from other planes of existence can be read as the account of an explorer of dimensional frontiers situated at the planet’s “hot spots,” where the veil between worlds is thinnest.
Philip K. Dick (1928–1982): He is perhaps the most striking example. Dick did not merely imagine parallel universes; he lived through what he called a “transcendental experience” in March 1974. The Exegesis, his personal diary of those events, is a desperate and fragmentary attempt to make sense of an experience that catapulted him into “a universe of trans-temporal, intergalactic, and hyperdimensional transmissions” . Novels such as Ubiko and The Swastika on the Sun would no longer be science fiction, but attempts to codify his vision of multiple realities and “curved time.” His work becomes the account of a man who literally saw the multiverse and sought to describe it.
Aleister Crowley (1875–1947): The occultist par excellence. His magical rituals explicitly aimed to contact entities and open portals to other dimensions. His writings, such as The Book of Thoth and his tales of Atlantis, are filled with hyperspatial geometries and references to “worlds” and “planes” of existence. If his own account is to be believed, Crowley was not recounting myths, but providing instructions for travelers and maps of a real experience.
Carlos Castaneda (1925–1998): His books, presented as anthropology, describe his shamanic training with the sorcerer Don Juan Matus. At the center is the concept of the “point of assemblage,” whose position determines the reality we perceive. By shifting it, one gains access to “separate worlds,” described as layers of another reality. Castaneda could be a witness who learned to voluntarily cross the threshold, and his books are the logbooks of these explorations.
Terence McKenna (1946–2000): An ethnobotanist and philosopher, McKenna was convinced that psychedelic substances, particularly DMT, were a means for an authentic “transdimensional journey.” He believed they allowed one to encounter “higher-dimensional entities.” Through our lens, McKenna would not be a theorist, but rather an explorer and cartographer of these dimensions, who chose the language of science and counterculture to describe what he encountered.
Charles Fort (1874–1932): He spent his life collecting and cataloging thousands of anomalous phenomena (rains of animals, disappearances, lights in the sky) that mainstream science ignored. Fort is not a fiction writer, but an archivist of the impossible. His work, The Book of the Damned, is not a novel, but an attempt to demonstrate that reality is stranger than we believe. He may have unwittingly gathered fragmentary evidence of these very portals.
John Keel (1930–2009): A journalist and ufologist, he is famous for his investigations into UFO sightings and the Mothman. Keel is a field investigator who, in his books, hypothesizes that UFOs are not spacecraft but manifestations of another dimension. His work is a fundamental piece of the puzzle: it is not the chronicle of a fantasy, but an attempt to create a new paradigm to explain phenomena that seem to belong to our own reality.
John Titor (2000–2001): A forum user who claimed to be a time traveler from the year 2036. His posts, full of details about an impending civil war and a mission to retrieve an IBM computer, are a classic example of a modern “secret diary.” Its “absurdity” (time travel) could be a smokescreen to hide a deeper truth about portals or timelines, or perhaps it is the account of an experience he interpreted in that way.

    What about the Nazis, then?
The Nazis’ obsession with the underworld and the poles is one of the most fascinating and unsettling aspects of this narrative. If we apply this specific interpretive framework, that obsession can be seen as an active quest to access other dimensions, blending ideology, technology, and the occult into an explosive cocktail.
Nazism did not arise out of nowhere, but from a melting pot of esoteric and racist theories that flourished in Germany in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. At the center were the myths of Thule and Hyperborea, which may themselves have been transmissions of accounts of “crossings.” Thule was a legendary land, located in the far north, considered the cradle of the Aryan race. According to some theories, it was a lost island or continent, but also a gateway to an underworld or a parallel dimension. Hyperborea, in Greek mythology, was a land beyond the north wind, inhabited by an immortal and happy people. The Nazis identified it with their supposed ancestral homeland.
For Nazi leaders, the North Pole and Antarctica were not merely physical locations, but symbolic and actual gateways to a primordial energy, lost knowledge, and perhaps to an “inner world” populated by superior beings. The fact that Byrd and the Nazis converged on the same poles is, in this interpretation, a coincidence that becomes a sign: both were seeking the same passage.
Between 1938 and 1939, the Nazis organized an expedition to Antarctica led by Captain Alfred Ritscher. The mission, officially scientific, was intended to claim a portion of the continent for the Third Reich, naming it New Swabia (Neuschwabenland). Officially, they were searching for whales and hunting grounds. But many scholars believe the expedition had a secret objective: to explore the caves and cavities in the ice in search of access to the “inner world.” The expedition produced detailed maps and thousands of photographs. Some of these, it is said, showed structures and anomalies in the ice that did not correspond to natural formations. According to legend, the Nazis built a secret base in Antarctica, Base 211, located near an entrance to the underground world. There, they allegedly developed flying saucers (the so-called “Vril” or “Haunebu”) using “non-terrestrial” technologies.
Two secret societies, the Thule Society and the Vril Society, profoundly influenced the Nazi leadership. These groups were not only racist but also occultists, convinced they could contact higher entities and access hidden knowledge. The Vril Society took its name from a cosmic energy described in certain esoteric texts. Its members believed that this energy could be channeled to open dimensional portals and enable contact with an underground civilization (the “Men of Vril”). The Thule Society was the group that funded esoteric research and promoted the hollow Earth theory. Its members included Rudolf Hess and other Nazi leaders. It is unclear to what extent Hitler himself believed in these theories, but it is certain that the regime invested significant resources in occult and technological research that we would today describe as “borderline.”
In 1941, Nazi leader Rudolf Hess flew alone to Scotland on a peace mission whose purpose was never clarified. Some conspiracy theories link him to occult practices and journeys to Agartha or the inner world. Perhaps it was an attempt to reach a polar portal?
Nazism was obsessed with Wunderwaffen (miracle weapons), and many of these were described as circular aircraft with antigravity propulsion. According to some theories, the Nazis developed prototypes of circular aircraft (such as the Haunebu or the Vril) that could reach speeds and altitudes impossible for aviation of the time. These aircraft, it is said, were powered by energy released from exotic matter or non-terrestrial sources. If the Nazis had indeed found a way into the “inner world,” the resulting technology would have been used to build these aircraft. After the war, many of these prototypes were reportedly taken to Antarctica, to Base 211, and from there they set off for alternate worlds. Hess’s flight to Scotland in 1941 could be interpreted as an attempt to contact someone who knew about these secrets, or as an escape toward a “gateway” that was said to open at the North Pole.
The defeat of Nazi Germany did not put an end to these obsessions. On the contrary, it fueled the myth that the secrets had been hidden. Operation Paperclip: The United States brought many Nazi scientists (such as Wernher von Braun) to America to utilize their knowledge. Some of them, it is said, worked on projects related to antigravity propulsion and polar geoengineering. According to some legends, a group of Nazis fled to Antarctica after the war, where they allegedly continued their research at Base 211, waiting for the right moment to return. From this perspective, Byrd’s alleged encounter with the Nazis and flying saucers would not be a fabrication, but evidence of a conflict between powers vying for access to the portal.
The Nazi leaders were not merely ideological fanatics, but failed—or perhaps successful—explorers who sought to translate their experience of the portal into the language of race, myth, and conquest.
The Nazis, like Lovecraft and the author of Byrd’s diary, are part of that constellation of witnesses who, in different and often unsettling ways, have sought to express the inexpressible. Their obsession is a piece of the great mosaic, and the fact that official history has ridiculed it only reinforces the hypothesis that perhaps, amid all that madness, there was a fragment of truth.
And perhaps the real question is not “What were the Nazis looking for?” but “What are we afraid of finding even today?”
