AfD meets "Trump camp / MAGA" in the US and - as was to be expected - the all-out leftist German mainstream media and most establishment politicians go ballistic. Some think that Trump & Co. see the AfD as (part of) the future government of Germany. Well, I think they are right (pun intended ).

Germany's right-wing anti-mass migration AfD party backed by Elon Musk is poised for a HISTORIC VICTORY in the Saxony-Anhalt elections — with polling showing them over 40% support, a STUNNING LEAD of close to 20 points.

CDU at just over 20%, and other parties near 10% or below.

WOW! If this turns out to be a victory, it could be the FIRST TIME AfD has won a state government.

AfD will need to win an absolute majority to make that happen. This would bypass the "FIREWALL" used by "mainstream" parties to block them from any power whatsoever.

While CSU and SPD Politicians (and the paid media) are trying to polarize by propaganda, like: "bad times are ahead with the AfD" or "watch out for the dangerous, extreme right-wing AfD", it's is important that nobody fall for the bait and don't counter with aggression but keep calm and stick to pursue positive goals.

I wouldn't be surprised if false flag actors and the like are hired by the desperate loosing parties in order to turn the course around.

It is scary and funny at the same time watching all the 'election meltdowns' of the (far) left in my country. Some even want to use violence and take by storm the parliament to prevent the AfD from forming a government (which is not even sure to work because the only party they could do a coalition or cooperation with is the leftist BSW).

It is quite reminiscent of 2016 (and to a lesser degree 2024) after the Trump election win(s) where you had all these leftist meltdowns in the US with people going crazy and completely paranoid.

The US left has TDS, in Germany we have AfDDS.

I can see why you mentioned 2016 which is when the UK Referendum result came through to leave the EU.

I remember it well because more than 90% of our MPs started showing off, said the public didn't know what they were voting for and showed their true colours. If the German politicians practice the same behaviour as those in the UK then it won't be plain sailing at all because, as you know, the UK did leave the EU after much muppeting and shenanigans, but in name only. We're still very much tied in to all things EU sadly.

The AfD has won the next state election, this time in the federal state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern (also affectively called "MeckPom").



In Berlin they also won a lot but the communist party won there. Indirectly they were the party in government of the socialist East Germany. Yes, the one who built the wall and a communist surveillance state for many decades up until 1989. Now they rule Berlin again.

Many want chancellor Merz to resign because his party (christian conservative - CDU) did not even make it into the state parliament in MeckPom by staying below the 5% threshold. He refuses to do so (which was predictable).
