So I had to change banks recently since my former bank will no longer serve Luddite customers like me who don't have a cell phone with online banking privileges.
( I don't use checks to pay bills with anymore since I was informed that is no longer safe.)
Today I was on the phone with an assistant from my new bank, trying to figure out their website so I can pay my AT&T and electric bills online.
It turns out the bank outsources the actual payment process to another company, though customers are required to fill in all the necessary information about who is paying whom and how much, etc. on the bank's website.
So after going through the whole process of filling in the required info with the bank assistant, she informed me that the other company they outsource with doesn't pay the customers' bills electronically, they actually send them a check through the Post Office.
Go figure...

And earlier today, I couldn't get an internet connection so I called my provider, AT&T, to find out why.
After a fruitless, aggravating exchange with AI, I asked to be connected with a live agent.
Someone with a very thick accent in a foreign country answered and after I described my problem he said he would send me a text message with a code and I would have to tell him what the code was before he could help.
I informed him that I don't have a cell phone and so a text wouldn't work, so then he said he would send me an email instead.
Which also obviously wouldn't work since I couldn't get access to email because I had no internet connection, the very reason that I called.

The woman in the video treats curiosity as contamination. She reaches for a University of Massachusetts Amherst study from 2012 - "Infants begin to learn about race in the first year" - and reads it as proof that a pre-verbal child is already a bigot.

The paper does not say that. It found that by nine months, babies get better at recognising familiar-looking faces and worse at telling apart unfamiliar ones.

Psychologist Lisa Scott, an author of the work, said the results "suggest that biases in face recognition and perception begin in preverbal infants, well before concepts about race are formed."

Face recognition is not a worldview. A nine-month-old does not have a theory of systemic oppression.

This is not an isolated freak-out. It sits inside a wider epidemic of deranged white leftist women.

They police stares, invent motives for infants, and treat ordinary childhood as a moral emergency. These people staff HR departments, classrooms, nurseries and social-work offices. They write the guidance.

A disciplinary hearing for two police officers who pepper-sprayed and Tasered a 92-year-old man at a East Sussex care home has led to their dismissals. It comes after PC Stephen Smith, 52, and PC Rachel Comotto, 37, were earlier found by the hearing to have allegations of gross misconduct against them proven. PC Smith and PC Comotto have both also been placed on the College of Policing's barred list. The pair had faced misconduct proceedings for their actions against Donald Burgess, during a confrontation at Park Beck care home, in St Leonards-on-Sea, in June 2022. Police were called after Mr Burgess - a single-leg amputee, who also lives with dementia - told staff he wanted to stab them and would "take a great deal of pleasure" from it.
