Our world is undergoing so much trauma that can be so overwhelming to people, so I am posting parts of my life with Margo that may uplift your spirits and give hope in these seemingly dark times. I do hope so. The memory of those days are a constant source of inspiration and joy that I continue to share with the many friends that come and sit around my kitchen table in this tiny cottage to listen to the mystical tales of our work together …. And still they come 🙏

So today I will go back to May 14th 1986. My daughter Suzi was home from Australia and wished to experience rescuing an earthbound spirit, so joined Margo and me on the journey to the small church at Yaverland to help Winnie, whose story told of mental cruelty to her daughter as a direct result of her husband abandoning her at her child’s birth.

She blamed the girl and punished her by cutting off her beautiful hair and keeping it cropped; by dressing her in blue serge all winter and grey calico all summer. The girl was never allowed out and was kept a virtual prisoner in her house, apart from school, until a time came when Winnie was taken ill and her daughter had to go shopping, and so met other people who found her very pleasant and attractive.

She was 14 at this time and one woman, noticing her style of dress, gave her a brass dress clip to brighten her clothes a little.
Winnie found out and dragged her to the road leading to Culver Down, threw the clip into the bushes, and continued to the top of the cliffs, where she told her daughter the wind would blow her sins away.

The poor girl could take no more and the next day she ran away. The last thing her mother heard was that her daughter was in service in a large house in London - so disgraceful!
But now Winnie realised her wickedness and wished to go onwards towards the Light.

We searched the bushes where the clip had been thrown, and Suzi found it very quickly! It is now in Australia with her to be a constant reminder of the power of spirit.

Ten days later Margo and I visited the empty Lodge to Gatcombe House, where we rescued Harry, who had a fetish about pink and blue satin. He had worked at Gatcombe House before the lodge was built and would sit where the cottage now stands o watch the ladies arriving in their carriages, dressed in all their finery.

One evening he went to the big house and hid himself in one of the bedrooms. A lady came in. He tore off her pink satin gown, attacked her and raped her.
Her cries attracted attention and he was brought to court for a crime which could have meant the death penalty, but instead he was deported. He became ill on the journey and died aboard the ship, only to find himself back at the scene of his desires.

Harry told us that two days previously a woman had been to see the empty lodge, who had dropped something lovely in pink satin. He asked us to find it.
I walked straight to an old woodshed adjoining the cottage, opened the door and inside at my feet lay a dark pink satin headsquare!

It was Sunday June 1st when Margo, Walter and I set out for Newtown Church where John was earthbound. This is his story.

He said he was a heroin addict who tried to get his girlfriend Pat to take drugs, but she, wise girl, refused.
They came together on the bike and walked along the path in the field behind the cottages and church. He had brought her a present, two packets of heroin wrapped up in a pink china bowl. His mother had told him that if you give a present the receiver must use the gift!
John felt the world around him was going mad, so began his use of drugs to attain an unnatural high and he wanted Pat to experience this as well. When she refused his gift they argued and she left him. He took the double dose of heroin, threw the china bowl away, and died as a result of the overdose, only to find himself back In Newtown where he entered the church for sanctuary. He said there were many others there also.

We walked the path in the field and searched in the long grass to eventually find a little gold-rimmed pink dish that once held the means of his death. John realised how wrong he had been to try and escape from the trials of the world in the way he did.

On June 8th we were supposed to go to Shorwell, but due to my being late this was postponed. Margo was told this particular case would involve Fairies, so we’re both somewhat disappointed. Instead Walter directed us to Arreton Church where Mary spoke to Margo, saying that during her lifetime she, who had the face of a child, had always been aware of the fairies. She felt they had attended her Christening.

One day during a church service she saw fairies around the vicar while he was preaching and told her mother, who reported this to the vicar. He said what she saw was evil and never to come into the church again until she denied them. She only went once more and that was to watch her own funeral, where she saw the fairies again and she stayed to be with them, but they had since gone and left her.
Mary was very insistent on the existence of the ‘little people’!

As we were not far from Arreton Manor we took a walk behind the church and came across the rear entrance into the gardens where we sat quietly for a while. Margo could feel the pull of some lost soul so decided to return at a later date, but to use the front entrance as official visitors. In those days the Manor was open to the public but it is now a private house with no public access.

And so, on Friday 13th, we were back at the manor, paid our entrance fee, and wandered around the old house. Margo was aware of being pulled desperately by more than one earthbound spirit. Eventually we had to stop in one of the rooms displaying a collection of dolls. She rested her clipboard on the wide window sill and wrote Margaret”s story.

Margaret had been a distant relative of the owner and spent many holidays at the manor. She herself was able to see and hear the ghost of a child who cried a great deal and promised to help her. When she died she found herself back at Arreton, a ghost trapped by her own promise to a ghost!
We were able to release her, but she asked us to return to rescue the child sometime in the future.

June 15th, a Sunday afternoon in the dappled woods at Calbourne Bottom where Margo saw 3 more fairies, two green and one silver.

Her guide Jane Taylor spoke saying that perhaps Walter and I will be given the gift of sight later and we also will be able to see the little people. She said we could find a tiny fairy mirror, not as big as a penny, if we went back to the trees where the fairies had been seen. This had magical properties and lay in the leaves at the foot of a tree, and that was just where we found it!

Jane said the gift of sight could be given by the fairies themselves, our own guides, or by the Great Light!

Sometimes as I consider those times I wonder just how I packed so much into my days, yet I was younger then and full of curiosity, so nothing seemed to phase me. There were still residents at the Grove and Zoe, my youngest daughter, who took it all in her stride.

And then Margo said one day “ How do you feel about dancing?”

I always loved to dance in my youth, be it square dancing, ballroom or jive, I did it. Yet neither of the two men I married had an ounce of rhythm in their bodies, and neither did Walter! But that wasn’t going to put us off. We took dancing lessons together and learned all the intricacies of the Cha Cha Cha, the tango, sequence dancing, and so many more! Then at least 4 times a week we danced on the ballroom floors of the island hotels in Shanklin and Sandown. Sheer joy! And such fun when Margo saw young dandy’s from the past come to join in the frivolity.

It was on February 15th 1989 that we were at The Grove practicing our version of the tango while being encouraged by Mary Anning, who informed us of its psychic and spiritual influences .
Taking the word TANGO, Mary gave us her interpretation - Together Always Nearer God’s Omnipresence!

A pause for a while but will continue later ♥️

Now, to bring a smile to a few faces. I cannot explain these incidents, possibly time slips on somebody’s part, but very enjoyable on ours. Unfortunately, not having the gift of sight, I can only tell what Margo experienced as we danced at Broadway Park Hotel on the night of September 14th 1990.

As we entered the ballroom Margo saw two men standing in the doorway. One dressed in a blue velvet coat with lace and silver at the wrists and neck, white knee breeches and white stockings! The other similarly attired with a brocade coat, black shoes with silver buckles. Both had powdered wigs. A right pair of Regency Dandies!
BUT, she then saw herself in a peach-coloured dress of the same period and me in pale blue!
    What on earth was happening?

After the dance finished, which we both experienced as ‘dreamy’, she received the following words.

“Greetings Marm, I pray your forgiveness for coming into your life and your friends without introduction. My name is Stephen, my friend is George. I really enjoyed dancing with you and we shall be here every Friday should you honour us with your company.
We are both titled gentleman and we admire you both. I do hope you will see and grace this establishment again. My greetings to you both from two lonely men who require a little company.”

That was indeed different, but I had learned to accept that strange things happened when in the company of a mystic, especially Margo!

The following day we went to Alveston and sat in a field beside a tumbledown cottage and heard the story of Maisie who spoke of her refusal to listen to her guides when they wished to communicate with her. Strangely enough their names were GEORGE and STEPHEN! And whenever they tried to speak with her she would go into the parlour of the little cottage and play her piano very loudly.
When she died an Angel told her she could not continue along the path towards the Light, but must wait until she could speak to someone who would listen. Margo witnessed a WHITE ANGEL standing in the gateway to the cottage.

I have no explanation for the synchronicity of names on the two days, but that was all part of the magic.

On the evening of the 18th September we were dancing at Shanklin Hotel and Margo had a similar experience.

She saw two gentlemen in evening dress enter the ballroom, who she described as ‘Gigolos’, in the manner of the film star Clark Gable, and later heard them saying “I say, what fun we are having! Gerald likes the one in pink, and my name is Eddie, and I like you! We danced the night away in the thirties and now we are all going to enjoy ourselves. Whizzo girls! This is fun, see you again soon here.”

The next day Margo received a message to the effect that we could continue to hear from Gerald and Eddie if we wish, or not if we prefer. She doesn’t have to write down what they say. For the moment we have decided to carry on and see what they have to say.

21.9.90 Meanwhile, “Felicitations ladies, may we have the pleasure of your company? We do enjoy your dancing and we know that when you dance the angels are with you, which is not true for the others here. A minuet would be pleasant, but we have to have a waltz and other dances instead. Let us have a toast to the four of us!”

25.9.90 We were dancing at Shanklin hotel when a strange thing happened. Margo’s pencil suddenly apported beside her fan on the table. Gerald and Eddie appeared once again! “what Ho! It is fun here with the two most charming ladies. I am rude but I guess your ages are 22 and 25 years old! just right! ( I wrote here, they must be blind!) So happy to whizz around. Carry on with the dance, we are enjoying this so much.”

It appeared that we were not seen as we were then and I found the time differential very odd.

At Broadway Park on the 27th and Margo had this strange communication.
“I am a spirit that dwells here and I know you hear me. I love seeing you both dance. You dance even better than I do in my ethereal state. I am so happy living here and am not a ghost. I am the Spirit of the Dance and I see you often. I am so happy, happy, happy.”

Broadway Park once again on the 28th, to find Stephen and George, those two Regency Beau were present. One in a green coat trimmed with silver, the other in silver trimmed with red. Both had white breeches and socks, black shoes with large buckles.
They both bowed very low to us and vanished at the end of the evening
“Oh how charming you both look tonight my fair maidens. You set a humble spirit’s heart afire. Now I made you ask for a dance that suits us - it was the Valeta waltz - so please dance it with us and see us. We are so very pleased to have the pleasure of your company. Goodnight after the dance.”

Sadly as from the first of October ‘the management of Broadway Park “regrets” that non residents are not welcome for dancing’
Such a shame, Goodbye George and Stephen. We decided to return to The Grand Hotel at Sandown where we were made most welcome.

My friend Aurea joined us for dancing at Shanklin Hotel on the second of October and we were met with these words.
“What a frolic! Certainly kicked up the old heels. See you again soon, what! Whizzo! We like dancing with you all. Third one, that is why you saw the ginger haired chap. His name’s Wilfred, cheers!”
Margo had previously seen and wondered who the one was with red hair. Now we know!

At the same time as all this mystical stuff was going on Margo and I were rescuing ghosts during the day and also hearing from the Extraterrestrials, so I leave you to imagine what my life was like then in those heady days and nights. ♥️
