    https://britishslavetraders.org/individuals/

The above is a database of all known slave traders in Britain. Did you know that slave traders and owners were paid millions in compensation when slavery was abolished? The taxpaying public funded those payouts. David Cameron is one well-known person whose family not only benefitted from slavery but also from the huge payouts in compensation. The British are likely to be familiar with at least some of the names on the list and would be able to judge those families in today's terms.

The dark underbelly of humanity and the truth about the wealthy and ruling classes has never been hidden. Do we have an opportunity to make a change now? Is there any wealthy or ruling class in any country that we can trust (old and new), not because of history but because their behaviour has never changed?

The Ed Sheeran scandal shows how easily a person can be morally compromised when the doors of the wealthy elite open for them, either knowingly or through intentionally blocking out the voice of consciousness in many ways. Ed's defence of himself is not rationally coherent; nor is the behaviour. For billionaires to throw a couple of million at unnamed Gaza aid in order to save a cash cow (full stadiums, performances, fans = cash flow) ... We see you Ed!

Acting as if Nothing Matters | Alan Watts on Letting Go
“Acting as if nothing matters” is distinguished from nihilism; it means recognizing that excessive seriousness and the demand for ultimate significance are self-created.

    AI Summary:

The discussion presents “acting as if nothing matters” as a way of releasing excessive seriousness, control, and attachment rather than abandoning responsibility or becoming apathetic.

Human beings often turn life into a performance governed by purpose, achievement, validation, and fear of failure, while the larger universe unfolds without the need for such judgments or control.

Letting go means caring, loving, working, and creating without making outcomes, permanence, or external validation conditions for happiness, allowing life to be experienced as spontaneous, changing, and playful.

The central paradox is that when the demand for ultimate significance is released, ordinary existence can be experienced as more vivid, meaningful, free, and precious.

    Key Points:
    • Human beings often treat their daily actions as though the universe itself is evaluating their importance and progress.
    • From a broader perspective, galaxies, stars, civilizations, and individual lives unfold across vastly different scales of time.
    • The “great pretending” describes the tendency to behave as though life has an ultimate scoreboard determining what matters, what is won, and what is lost.
    • The universe does not respond to individual successes, failures, heartbreaks, or ambitions, and its indifference is presented as potentially liberating rather than cruel.
    • Society teaches people to associate responsibility with planning, career choices, purpose, defending opinions, and taking life seriously.
    • Childhood play and the spontaneous processes of nature are presented as alternatives to rigid ideas about what is important, correct, or valuable.
    • Dividing life into what matters and what does not creates tension, failure, guilt, and the persistent feeling that more must be achieved.
    • Treating life as a performance can turn every moment into an examination in which people fear that they might fail.
    • Modern culture is described as demanding purpose in careers, relationships, spirituality, and even leisure, making simple existence difficult to accept on its own.
    • Constantly measuring worth through productivity, approval, and imagined standards creates psychological strain and obscures the ordinary experience of being alive.
    • Responsibility does not need to be abandoned; it can be approached with flexibility and care rather than anxiety and rigidity.
    • People can love fully, work diligently, and help others without turning those activities into tests of personal worth.
    • Letting go is distinguished from giving up: giving up withdraws from life, while letting go releases the need to control or cling to it.
    • Detachment is presented as freedom from clinging rather than emotional coldness or indifference.
    • Suffering is connected to the desire for permanence in relationships, identities, successes, and other changing aspects of life.
    • Accepting impermanence means recognizing that experiences, roles, and circumstances cannot be permanently possessed or controlled.
    • Releasing the need to manage everything allows life to be experienced as something unfolding rather than a problem that must constantly be solved.
    • Caring without clinging allows people to accept uncertainty and results without making happiness dependent on specific outcomes.
    • The central paradox is that when people stop demanding that life prove its ultimate significance, they can experience greater freedom, presence, appreciation, and meaning in ordinary moments.

Cults are more prevalent today than ever before.
Cult Leaders Target You At Your Weakest. Never Confess This To Them
    • Dr. Mayim Bialik

Cult expert Rick Alan Ross (founder of the Cult Education Institute and author of “Cults Inside Out: How People Get In and Can Get Out” reveals how cults are shaping modern society in ways most people never realize.

Could a cult be influencing U.S. politics? On this episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, we examine the disturbing allegations surrounding Tulsi Gabbard's (former director of national intelligence) spiritual guru, including claims of child abuse, his reported influence on her political career, concerns about potential access to national secrets during her time as Trump's Director of National Intelligence, and why Ross says fully vetting government officials is more important than ever.

Rick also answers one of today's most controversial questions: Is MAGA a cult? He explains what actually qualifies as a cult, shares examples of modern-day cults and cult-like organizations influencing global politics, and reveals what ordinary people can do to protect themselves.

Think you'd never join a cult? Think again. Ross explains why anyone (regardless of intelligence, education, or success) can become vulnerable, why loneliness and social isolation make people especially susceptible, how cults first draw people in, and the psychological process they use to slowly break people down over time.

You'll learn the 3 stages of thought reform (coercive persuasion), why social isolation is considered a core element of destructive thought programs, what makes a cult truly dangerous, why followers often lose their critical thinking and sense of empowerment, and whether cult leaders actually believe what they're preach, or knowingly manipulate others.

    Rick also breaks down:
    • Why it's so difficult (even for trained experts) to infiltrate cults and rescue members
    • How deprogramming works, why it can take so long, and what happens when interventions fail
    • Hidden warning signs of controlling leaders, including subtle behaviors followers display around them
    • Scientology's controversial "auditing" process and how it functions psychologically
    • Whether support groups like AA could ever be considered cults
    • Where the line exists between healthy religious devotion and dangerous religious extremism
    • Why accountability within leadership is essential, and why claims of having "a direct line to God" deserve careful scrutiny
The conversation goes far beyond traditional cults.

Rick explains how abusive romantic relationships often use the same psychological tactics, including how narcissistic partners create dependency, weaponize the fear of disequilibrium, why explosive behavior is never acceptable in a healthy relationship, and the key warning signs that you're dating someone controlling or abusive.

We also explore how UFO communities can evolve into cult-like movements, examine real-world examples of UFO-based cults, and discuss how cult psychology is appearing in workplaces, startup culture, and organizations facing uncertainty as AI transforms the workforce.

Finally, Rick shares practical tools everyone can use to recognize manipulation before it's too late.

And stay until the very end to hear the shocking story of whether Mayim was personally targeted by a cult!

I push my glucose/lactose/sugar intake low enough to get to or above 1.0 mmol/L, or a similar perhaps better target, keeping the ratio of blood glucose divided by ketones below 100 ... what Dr. Annette Bosworth (Doctor Boz) calls the Boz ratio.
Dr Boz tells us the history of how she went from conventional medicine to her current practice.

It's a stunning story starting with being excommunicated from conventional medicine early in 2010, to treating the people in Haiti right after their disastrous January 2010 earthquake, leading to her current practice helping 100's of thousands better understand ketogenic diets and such.

Only 10% of Reality Is Physical: How Your Intuition Reveals the Rest
    • Dr. Mayim Bialik
    • September 26, 2026
    • 2.4M subscribers
What if consciousness is more fundamental than the physical world? What happens to consciousness when we die? Could quieting the mind, strengthening intuition, and moving beyond our five senses reveal a deeper reality?

In this episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (spiritual leader, meditation teacher, and founder of The Art of Living) explores consciousness, spirituality, reality, intuition, meditation, inner peace, and humanity's future.

Gurudev shares what decades of spiritual practice have taught him about the spiritual and physical worlds, including his view that matter represents only a fraction of consciousness. He explains how uniqueness and universality can coexist, where intuition comes from, and how we can open ourselves to experiences beyond the five senses.

    CONSCIOUSNESS, REALITY & THE SUPERNATURAL

What happens to consciousness after death? Can humans access something beyond ordinary sensory perception? How can we distinguish spiritual experiences and miracles from psychosis? Gurudev explores these questions while explaining how our understanding of consciousness may be much larger than we realize. He also discusses energy healing, how it may work, and why protecting consciousness, especially among young people, is increasingly important amid pressure, distraction and uncertainty.

    MEDITATION, STILLNESS & MENTAL HYGIENE

Gurudev explains how moments of stillness can transform our mental state and shares mental hygiene practices to raise energy, improve well-being, and reconnect with ourselves. He also explains his Sky Breathing technique and how conscious breathing can bring greater rhythm and harmony with the world around us.

INTUITION, PURPOSE & YOUR INNER WORLD

Where does intuition come from, and can you develop it?

Gurudev shares insights into strengthening intuition, discovering your life's purpose, reconnecting with your inner child, and cultivating a playful, joyful spirit. He reflects on recognizing his spiritual calling as a child and feeling different from other children. He explains why losing our natural sense of play, wonder, and joy can have profound consequences, and why reconnecting with that part of ourselves matters.

WHY THE WORLD IS BECOMING MORE VIOLENT

Gurudev discusses growing pressure around the world and why it can lead to increased violence. He shares his vision for the next wave of humanity and explains why protecting consciousness, cultivating inner peace, and living beyond fear and division may be essential to humanity's future.

Gurudev explains why he wants his legacy to emphasize his role as a peacemaker, including his work facilitating a peace dialogue that contributed to a ceasefire in Colombia's civil war, a conflict that claimed more than 220,000 lives over 52 years. He also discusses his work with gang members and efforts to transform cycles of violence.

    LOVE, RELATIONSHIPS & SPIRITUAL GROWTH

Gurudev explores wisdom hidden within relationships and explains how cynicism can limit spiritual growth. He discusses why openness, curiosity, joy and wonder may be essential to experiencing life fully.

THE WEST IS WAKING UP TO SPIRITUALITY

Gurudev reflects on changes he has witnessed in the West surrounding meditation, yoga, mindfulness, spirituality, and consciousness.

But where does this movement go next, and what does humanity need now?

This conversation explores consciousness, intuition, energy healing, peace, human transformation and its meaning for humanity's future!

We have lowered saturated fat and cholesterol drastically, yet heart disease is still the number one killer worldwide. Dr Ovadia, a board-certified heart surgeon, will discuss how to fix your heart, the truth about cholesterol as a risk marker, and how insulin resistance drives plaque in the arteries.

    In this episode, we explain:
    • The Statin Trap: Why cholesterol-lowering drugs can increase insulin resistance and cause long-term harm to your health.
    • The Real Enemy: How processed foods and industrial seed oils drive the arterial inflammation that leads to heart attacks.
    • Insulin Resistance: The hidden, underlying root cause of heart disease that standard tests usually miss.
    • Protective Fats: Why natural animal fats do not cause heart failure and why real meat acts as medicine for your body.
    • Reversing Plaque: How switching your diet and fixing your metabolism can clear your arteries and restore your heart.

    ‘Kicking Evil’s A**’

    Full video:

“The central message is to disengage from fear-based programming, listen inwardly, say no when something feels wrong, reconnect with nature and other people, and focus on creating rather than fighting.”

“The concluding approach is to disengage from fear and conflict, reconnect with love, nature, the body, and other people, and use personal freedom to create something new rather than continuing to feed opposing forces.”

Cate Montana is a warrior with an unprecedented level of transparency. As a child she could feel the room turn cold when her grandmother was in it and began seeing patterns of darkness entering into the bodies of others. It wasn’t until later in her life and career that she understood it and named it - Evil.

Cate shares in her new book, Cracking the Matrix, that Evil is not indigenous to earth and its people, rather a force that has insinuated itself into our lives starting at the highest institutional levels to everyday life. All we need to do is read the day’s headlines to see Evil in full force. It hinges on its ability to make us feel fearful but we can say “No more!” Despite the topic, this is actually a light-hearted and uplifting perspective on taking back our true power. Enjoy!

    AI Key Points
    • Cracking the Matrix explores forces described as working against human connection, goodness, and vitality.
    • The discussion presents the “anti-life force” as an ancient, nonphysical influence associated with fear, shame, greed, violence, and other lower emotional states.
    • Childhood experiences of unusual perceptions and a strong connection with nature shaped the later spiritual inquiry.
    • Memories involving the grandmother became part of the framework for understanding interdimensional or “demonic” forces.
    • Similar concepts are described across different cultures and historical traditions, including references to archons and other named entities.
    • Humanity is described as having become conditioned to tolerate harmful or troubling conditions gradually, like the “boiling frog” metaphor.
    • Religious teachings are discussed as one way fear and shame can become embedded in people's understanding of themselves.
    • The concept of original sin is presented as particularly influential in creating beliefs that the human body and human nature are inherently corrupt.
    • Manichaeism and Augustine are discussed as historical links in the development and transmission of teachings about bodily corruption and original sin.
    • New Age spirituality is criticized within the discussion for emphasizing constant positivity, escaping the body, and avoiding darker or uncomfortable subjects.
    • The proposed mechanism of the anti-life force is described as exploiting wounds, trauma, fear, guilt, shame, and feelings of inadequacy.
    • Fear is described as an access point through which lower emotional states can become dominant.
    • The discussion argues that recognizing these patterns reduces their power because the perceived force is said to operate through human participation.
    • Death is presented as a transition between states rather than the end of existence, with continued connection to deceased loved ones.
    • Traditional shamans are distinguished from newer forms of “weekend” or superficial shamanism, with emphasis on training, discernment, and experience.
    • The importance of discernment is emphasized: communication with a disembodied presence is not automatically considered beneficial or trustworthy.
    • Education, politics, religion, economics, and social expectations are described as different forms of interconnected “matrices” that can encourage people to look outside themselves for authority.
    • A central practice is to stop, tune into the body, and notice feelings, intuition, and physical responses before relying exclusively on external information or mental analysis.
    • The discussion encourages accepting the full range of human emotions, including anger, and using a clear “no” when confronting perceived harm, unfairness, or unacceptable treatment.

What if everything you believe about consciousness, enlightenment, God, death, and reality is backwards?

In this episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, Rupert Spira—one of the world's leading voices on nonduality and contemporary spirituality—challenges the deepest assumptions about who we are and reveals why consciousness may be the ultimate reality of the universe, not something created by the brain.

Discover why enlightenment is perhaps the most misunderstood concept in all of spiritual literature, what it actually points to, and why peace, happiness, and love are not things we acquire, but actually the very nature of our being.

Rupert explains why matter doesn't generate consciousness, why being aware is your primary experience, and how near-death and out-of-body experiences can be understood philosophically as changes in the mechanics of perception rather than evidence that consciousness has a physical location.

He also explores some of life's biggest questions:
    • Where does consciousness go when we die?
    • Could the soul outlive the body?
    • Does consciousness ever evolve?
    • Why are being born and dying fundamentally the same experience?
    • Why does nothing truly new ever come into existence?

We also dive into the hidden causes of human suffering and global division. Rupert explains why suffering arises when we lose touch with our true nature, why the illusion of separation may be the root of today's global conflicts, and how a genuine felt sense of interconnectedness could transform humanity and even help prevent war.

He reveals why religious and materialist fundamentalists may have more in common than they realize, why people commit terrible acts in the name of God, and what it would take for religion to return to the timeless truths at its foundation. He also explains why nonduality underlies many of the world's great spiritual traditions without requiring allegiance to any particular religion or concept of God.

You'll also learn why Rupert believes we cannot begin to understand a higher power until we first explore our own experience, his philosophical case that we are all expressions of God's one being, and why nothing that happens in the world can ever truly harm your essential nature.

The conversation becomes deeply practical as Rupert shares how to "go home" into yourself, how this understanding can completely transform romantic relationships, why seeing your partner as another expression of yourself changes the way conflict unfolds, and how simply embodying presence can help soothe someone who is hurting.

Finally, Rupert discusses why Mayim has been experiencing more synchronicities in her life, why happiness is already present beneath our thoughts, and why recognizing our true nature may be the key not only to personal freedom, but to a more peaceful world.

You may be feeling the high-low rollercoaster, with moments of possibility and aliveness followed by deeper waves of release. For many, this is part of preparing for something new. And importantly, you are starting a new story, not starting over. Everything you’ve lived and learned comes with you, but it may now be taking an entirely new form.

There’s also a powerful creative energy emerging through shadowless creation and unclouded genius, inviting bolder, freer ideas and new ways of creating without the old limitations getting in the way.

These are just a few of the energies moving through October. Join me for the full Energy Update as we dive into what else is showing up this month.

    Big love,

25:57 - SHADOWLESS CREATION AND UNCLOUDED GENIUS
28:34 - DISSOCIATION, CHECKING OUT, AND EXITS
    AI Summary:

The October energy update focuses on emotional and psychological shifts associated with rapid personal and collective change. Major themes include moving through emotional highs and lows, examining fear of the future, processing global trauma, and recognizing that a new chapter can build on the past without returning to it.

It also emphasizes spiritual experiences, maintaining a chosen state of being, creative freedom, and seeking connection and support when grief, helplessness, or withdrawal become overwhelming. Overall, the message encourages grounding, intentionality, reflection, community, and openness to change.
    • The month is framed around intense energetic, psychological, and emotional shifts occurring both individually and collectively.
    • The high-low roller coaster reflects periods of release, change, loss, disillusionment, possibility, and perceived new beginnings.
    • Emotional volatility may represent the process of shedding patterns, identities, or energies that no longer fit before entering a new phase.
    • People who feel particularly sensitive may experience these fluctuations more intensely as they respond to broader collective conditions.
    • Grounding practices such as gardening, simple activities, ordinary conversations, and other small routines are presented as ways to counter overstimulation.
    • The relationship with the future is explored through the question of whether fear comes from personal intuition, past experiences, or repeated exposure to negative information.
    • Physical movement, meditation, calm environments, supportive conversations, and intentional breaks from the internet are suggested as ways to restore balance.
    • Being deliberate about online consumption can help prevent algorithms and repeated negative material from continually reinforcing fear.
    • Processing global trauma is described as becoming more prominent as people confront violence, inequality, oppression, instability, and other painful world events.
    • Greater exposure to individual accounts and information is described as making connections between different global experiences more visible to more people.
    • Processing difficult collective realities can bring despair, heartbreak, grief, or helplessness, making social connection and discussion especially important.
    • A new story is distinguished from starting over: the past remains part of the foundation, but the next chapter does not need to reproduce what came before.
    • Nostalgia and intense reflection on the past can accompany major transitions as people review previous identities, experiences, and lessons before moving forward.
    • Experiences from the past can be integrated into a new life without attempting to recreate the previous circumstances.
    • Spiritual, psychic, angelic, and afterlife experiences are described as becoming more openly discussed and accepted across different cultures and spiritual traditions.
    • Such experiences may alter people's perceptions of relationships, habits, environments, and previously held assumptions, while also creating periods of disorientation.
    • Owning and holding your frequency means repeatedly choosing the environments, relationships, activities, and emotional states that feel aligned rather than expecting constant perfection.
    • Shadowless creation and unclouded genius describe creativity that is less driven by ego, status, approval, or limiting assumptions, particularly when directed toward collective or benevolent purposes.
    • The final theme concerns dissociation, checking out, grief, helplessness, and death, with an emphasis on recognizing when people are withdrawing or numbing themselves and reaching for support.
    • Loss and death are presented as experiences that can deepen reflection on how someone lived, what qualities they embodied, and what those qualities might inspire in the people who remain.

What happens when the relentless pursuit of adrenaline leads to losing your soul in the process? Shawn Ryan reveals the hidden psychological toll of ambition, the dark side of psychedelics, and the ultimate price of true alignment.

Shawn Ryan is a former U.S. Navy SEAL, CIA contractor, and the creator of The Shawn Ryan Show, one of the most influential and widely watched independent podcasts. After transitioning from elite military service and dangerous covert operations into media, he has built an expansive platform known for raw unfiltered conversations.

    In this episode, he explains:
    ■ The Adrenaline Trap: How former elite operators often suffer from severe post-service depression because normal civilian life cannot replicate the neurological highs of combat.
    ■ The Psychedelic Nightmare: Why an intensive ibogaine treatment designed to optimize his mental state instead opened a terrifying portal to the spiritual realm and severe supernatural oppression.
    ■ The Cost of Alignment: Genuine personal transformation demands going through a shedding phase, in which you consciously step away from profitable ad deals, social networks, and short term incentives to stay true to your values.
    ■ The Illusion of the Herd: Authentic, lasting achievement relies entirely on nurturing a unique voice anchored in personal belief, while imitating results in creative paralysis.
    ■ The Ultimate Priority: Chasing ambition eventually demands sacrificing family time, demonstrating that no amount of business success can make up for absence in your children's lives.

In this Huberman Lab Essentials episode, I explain how the neurochemicals epinephrine, acetylcholine and dopamine contribute to focus and concentration. I discuss tools for improving attention, including sleep, sound, structured work sessions, nutrition, caffeine and deliberate cold exposure. I also describe a brief daily meditation and visual focus exercises that train your ability to refocus when attention drifts. Additionally, I discuss the potential benefits and limitations of supplements, prescription treatments for ADHD, and why taking time to deliberately defocus supports concentrated work.

    AI Summary + Main Points:

Focus and concentration can be understood as a combination of alertness, attentional direction, and motivation, involving epinephrine, acetylcholine, and dopamine. The most consistently emphasized foundations are adequate sleep, structured periods of deep work, appropriate nutrition, and repeated practice of refocusing. Behavioral practices such as meditation and visual-focus exercises are presented as ways to strengthen focus circuits through neuroplasticity. Additional tools—including caffeine, deliberate cold exposure, omega-3s, creatine, and certain supplements—may support concentration, while prescription stimulants are discussed primarily in the context of clinically diagnosed ADHD and medical supervision.
    • Epinephrine/adrenaline increases energy and alertness and helps create the conditions necessary for focus, but by itself does not determine what you focus on.
    • Acetylcholine acts like an attentional “spotlight,” helping direct neural activity toward specific information or tasks.
    • Dopamine is associated with motivation and helps sustain and progressively narrow attention during a focused period.
    • Sleep is a foundational factor for cognitive performance; consistently getting sufficient, high-quality sleep supports focus and concentration.
    • White, pink, and potentially brown noise may help people transition into a concentrated state, rather than directly increasing concentration itself.
    • Focus is described as a gradual process rather than an instantaneous switch: the first several minutes of a work session can function as a mental warm-up.
    • Around 90 minutes is presented as a useful target for a deep-focus session, with the initial 5–10 minutes treated as a transition period.
    • Blood glucose availability can affect neuronal function and cognitive performance, while very large meals may impair concentration by promoting a more relaxed, post-meal state.
    • Caffeine can support focus, with roughly 100–200 mg described as a commonly useful range; higher amounts can produce anxiety and other unwanted effects, particularly in sensitive individuals.
    • Caffeine consumed too close to bedtime can disrupt sleep quality even when someone can still fall asleep, so avoiding it for roughly 8–12 hours before bed is suggested.
    • Acute stress can temporarily improve concentration by increasing epinephrine and narrowing attention, but deliberately creating stressful life situations is not presented as an appropriate focus strategy.
    • Brief deliberate cold exposure can substantially increase epinephrine and dopamine; cold water should be uncomfortably cold but safely tolerable rather than excessively extreme.
    • A 13-minute daily meditation practiced for about 8 weeks was associated with improvements in focus, concentration, mood, stress, sleep, and memory; repeatedly returning attention to the breath after distraction is itself part of the training.
    • Visual-focus exercises involve maintaining attention on a single visual target for roughly 30 seconds to 3 minutes, gradually increasing duration and repeatedly redirecting the gaze when it wanders.
    • Omega-3 fatty acids, creatine, and compounds affecting acetylcholine or dopamine are discussed as potential supplemental supports, but behavioral foundations—sleep, nutrition, and training—are emphasized first.
    • Deliberate periods of defocusing, such as walking without a phone or allowing yourself to daydream, can provide recovery and make it easier to return to sustained concentration.

Do I Need More Discipline in Meditation?
    • Rupert Spira
    • September 26, 2026
    • 652K subscribers
When does meditation support us, and when can it become another way of avoiding ourselves? This exchange explores the difference between acting from inner fullness and acting to escape a sense of lack.

Rupert says: ‘Before you either meditate or engage in another activity, get in touch with the feeling that is initiating the action. Apart from practical necessities, see whether it comes from the fullness of yourself – a desire to express, share or create – or from a sense of lack that you wish to avoid.

‘Even formal meditation can sometimes be a subtle means of avoiding the existential lack beneath our thinking and activity. If that is the case, pause, turn towards the dissatisfaction, and open yourself to it rather than distracting yourself from it.’
    AI Summary

The discussion explores how spiritual practice, meditation, and distraction can become intertwined, especially when formal practice feels difficult or inconsistent. Rather than judging periods of distraction as failures, the central suggestion is to pause and examine the underlying motivation for whatever action one is about to take. Actions may arise from practical needs or from a sense of fullness and creativity, but they can also arise from an uncomfortable sense of inner lack that drives avoidance. The key practice is therefore not simply to meditate more, but to recognize and gently turn toward the underlying dissatisfaction instead of escaping it through entertainment, thinking, or even spiritual activities.

    10 Main Points
    • Spiritual practice can naturally come and go. Periods of intensive meditation may alternate with periods of distraction or distance from formal practice.
    • Distraction is worth examining rather than automatically condemning. Instead of labeling it as a bad habit, notice what is motivating the desire to do something else.
    • Pause before acting. Whether choosing meditation, entertainment, reading, walking, or another activity, briefly investigate the feeling that is initiating the action.
    • Distinguish practical motivations from psychological ones. Eating when hungry, sleeping when tired, working, or caring for someone are practical necessities and are different from activities motivated by avoidance.
    • Ask whether an action comes from fullness or lack. An activity may arise from feeling whole and wanting to express, create, or share—or from an uncomfortable feeling of emptiness one wants to escape.
    • Entertainment can function as avoidance. Activities such as eating for comfort, watching entertainment, or constantly staying occupied can provide ways to avoid uncomfortable inner experiences.
    • Spiritual activities can also become forms of avoidance. Watching spiritual videos or even meditating can sometimes serve as a more subtle way of escaping an uncomfortable sense of lack.
    • Thinking can be another form of distraction. Moving into memories of the past or projections about the future can prevent direct contact with present discomfort.
    • Stillness can reveal underlying dissatisfaction. When external activity and mental distraction stop, one may encounter a sense of emptiness, lack, or dissatisfaction that is normally avoided.
    • The suggested response is to turn toward the feeling. When there is no practical need to act, rather than immediately distracting oneself—including through spiritual practice—pause, open to the dissatisfaction, and allow it to be experienced.

Dr. Edwin C. May (physicist, former director of the U.S. Government's infamous Star Gate remote viewing program, and one of the world's leading researchers into extrasensory perception) reveals what decades of classified research actually uncovered about psychic phenomena.

In this episode of Mayim Bialik's Breakdown, he breaks down the science behind remote viewing and telepathy, explains why he believes these phenomena are real, and shares the remarkable evidence that convinced him as a scientist.

    We discuss:
    • The truth about the U.S. Government's Star Gate program, why it existed, and what really happened behind the scenes
    • Why the government became interested in telepathy and whether there was a remote viewing arms race with Russia
    • Astonishing statistics behind remote viewing experiments, and why many people underestimate just how accurate they were
    • Incredible cases of remote viewers identifying ships smuggling illegal drugs
    • Why Dr. May believes around 10% of the population can successfully remote view under double-blind laboratory conditions
    • Why no personality test, intelligence test, psychological evaluation, or health assessment ever predicted who would become a successful remote viewer
    • How new remote viewers were discovered and tested using rigorous scientific protocols
    • Biggest divide within today's remote viewing community, and why he disagrees with many modern training methods
    • Why remote viewers can't simply predict lottery numbers
    • Which types of information are easiest and hardest to perceive through remote viewing
    • Who tends to become the best remote viewers and whether meditation actually improves performance
    • His take on Lisa Kudrow's surprising remote viewing experience
Dr. May also explains the physics he believes may underlie psi phenomena, including:
    • His scientific model for how telepathy and remote viewing could work
    • Why these models are scientifically testable, not just philosophical speculation
    • How entropy may play a critical role in extrasensory perception
    • What detecting entropy shifts could tell us about accessing psi information
    • Why an unusually high number of elite remote viewers experience synesthesia, and what that might reveal about the brain
We also explore the bigger questions surrounding consciousness and reality:
    • Why so many scientists remain opposed to studying remote viewing
    • Why Dr. May actually prefers skeptics over believers
    • Why he still considers himself a materialist despite spending his career researching paranormal phenomena
    • How he reconciles precognition with a materialist worldview
    • Why he does not believe consciousness survives bodily death
    • What removing mysticism from Western religion may have cost our understanding of extraordinary human experiences
Whether you're skeptical, curious, or already fascinated by consciousness research, this is one of the deepest conversations you'll hear on the science, history, and controversy surrounding remote viewing, telepathy, precognition, and the limits of human perception!

Our Mysterious Human Origins | Regina Meredith
    (Channeled From My Soul Group)
    • Regina Meredith
    • October 1, 2026
    • 73.3K subscribers
There are as many stories regarding the origins of humanity as there are religions. Throughout my lifetime I have been exposed to many of these stories, yet only one has made sense to me on a meta level. I must confess it may be the most resonant to me because it came from my soul group, which I have mentioned on occasion. As I am one with them, what they have shared with me over the decades naturally feels more resonant than many other sources. But the reason I am sharing this with you in it’s longer form is that there is a key in it that matters - we are all hybrids, in this case a mix of two different dimensions of earth entities.

This story is from the inception of the third dimensional Earth that is our home. The beauty here is that this version of Human Origins allows the other stories to have truth as well, as our history is long, very long. I hope you can feel yourself in this and that it helps you remember what you are at the core. That is the key! Humans have been taken advantage of by marauding cosmic entities because we were vulnerable, this explains why - and why that time is over!

    Ai Summary

The chapter presents a spiritual/speculative account of human origins in which Earth and humanity are described as multidimensional creations, with higher-dimensional beings entering physical life through a temporary “portal.” According to the account, these beings eventually became unable to return to their original dimension and merged with a physical human form, producing a unique hybrid of highly developed consciousness and an instinct-driven body.

The speaker frames humanity’s current development as an unfinished process of integrating intellect, creativity, spirituality, emotion, physical sensation, and love. The chapter concludes by encouraging people to protect their creativity, connection with nature and other people, and autonomy of mind rather than becoming overly dependent on technology or virtual life.

    Key points
    • The story is presented as a spiritual account of human origins transmitted through a channeling source decades earlier.
    • Humanity, Earth, and living organisms are described as multidimensional, with physical reality representing only one level of existence.
    • Earth is portrayed as an unusually diverse and beautiful planet whose physical form emerged gradually from higher-frequency states into denser matter.
    • Creation is described in terms of intention, mathematics, geometry, elements, DNA, energy, and increasingly physical forms.
    • Numerous species—including fish, birds, mammals, whales, elephants, and human-like beings—are said to have developed as distinct creations.
    • The account explicitly rejects the idea that modern humans are directly descended from apes, instead presenting humans and other creatures as separate creations with potentially distant genetic connections.
    • Higher-dimensional “portal beings” supposedly observed the developing Earth through an unusual opening between dimensions.
    • These beings could supposedly create almost instantaneously through thought but lacked the rich physical sensory experience available through a dense body.
    • They began temporarily inhabiting earthly organisms, initially treating physical embodiment as an exploration or adventure.
    • As Earth became denser and its frequency supposedly lowered, some beings remained too long and eventually lost the ability to return to their original dimension.
    • Those who stayed had to choose between abandoning physical experience, remaining embodied, or becoming trapped between states.
    • A special human form was allegedly developed to accommodate the higher-dimensional beings and give them access to physical senses.
    • The proposed merging required extensive modification of the human brain and nervous system so the body could accommodate the beings' supposed energetic and intellectual capacities.
    • The merger is described as extremely difficult, with physical bodies experiencing overwhelming sensations while the incoming beings struggled with light, sound, smell, bodily limitations, relationships, reproduction, and mortality.
    • The resulting human condition is portrayed as a combination of a highly creative/intelligent consciousness with an animal body dominated by survival instincts and fear.
    • The concept of “human soul development” emphasizes that humanity is still learning to integrate its physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual dimensions.
    • The speaker argues that humans may be beginning to recover greater creativity, intuition, synchronicity, love, and other capacities associated with the supposed higher-dimensional aspect.
    • The story incorporates extraterrestrial beings and the Anunnaki into its framework, proposing that they may have interacted with already-existing humans rather than having created humanity from scratch.
    • The speaker offers a more charitable interpretation of claims that the Anunnaki genetically modified humans, suggesting that assistance and exploitation could potentially have occurred simultaneously.
    • The chapter distinguishes between alleged “portal beings,” Earth-based souls, and other spiritual categories, emphasizing that Earth-connected beings supposedly possess particular abilities to work with nature.
    • Technology and AI are presented as potentially useful but also as risks if humans surrender their creativity, attention, relationships, or autonomy to them.
    • The overarching message is that humanity should reconnect with nature, physical relationships, creativity, the heart, and its perceived inner potential rather than becoming excessively immersed in virtual or technological systems.

This post from Noor in Gaza is interesting in that it represents a human dilemma. Live consciously and only in the present (which is unbearable)? Or dream and aspire to fulfill those dreams? It may sound simple, but it is real for people trapped in unbearable circumstances, and it is perhaps relevant to all of us ...

Viktor Frankl, the psychiatrist who survived the Nazi concentration camps, wrote about something strange that happened to prisoners there.

They had no idea when their life inside the camp would end.

    Not in a month.

    Not in a year.

They didn’t even know if there would be an "after" at all.

Frankl wrote about how, when a person can no longer see an end to their circumstances, their relationship with life itself begins to change.

And it made me think about how much of our lives here are built around the word:

    "Once..."

    Once the war is over.

    Once things calm down.

    Once the checkpoint opens.

    Once things get better.

Once we know what's going to happen.

    Once we can travel.

Once life goes back to normal.

The strange thing is that the word "once" makes it sound temporary.

But what happens when temporary lasts for years?

Sometimes I think about entire generations in Palestine who have lived through things they were told, or hoped, were only temporary circumstances.

The Nakba was supposed to be temporary.

Occupation was supposed to be temporary.

    An uprising is a period.

    A siege is a period.

    A war is a period.

And somewhere between one "temporary" period and the next, people get married.

    They have children.

    They grow older.

    Their hair turns grey.

    Some of them die.

And the temporary still hasn't ended.

And perhaps this is where Frankl's observation becomes particularly difficult to sit with:

A person doesn't only have to endure a difficult reality.

They also have to work out how to understand the time that is passing while they are living through it.

Because if you treat everything as temporary, you can spend your whole life waiting for your real life to begin afterwards.

But if you treat it as permanent, it can feel as though you've accepted that nothing else is ever possible.

So how does a person live a whole life...

inside a reality that insists it is temporary,

when it has already taken whole years of their life?

sdv - I loved Frankl's work, particularly "Man's Search for Meaning"

Below are the personality traits that Frankle noted in the survivors who were able to thrive during the peak of hardship and uncertainty, and of people who thrive in general:
    (according to google ai)
    ----------

According to Viktor Frankl in his seminal memoir Man's Search for Meaning, the individuals who survived and mentally "thrived" in Nazi concentration camps were not necessarily the physically strongest. Instead, survival depended heavily on specific psychological and spiritual traits that allowed people to maintain their inner humanity.
The core personality traits and psychological mindsets of those who thrived include:

    1. Future-Oriented Purpose (The Will to Meaning)
    • Having a "Why": Frankl famously quoted Nietzsche: "He who has a why to live for can bear almost any how." Those who survived had a concrete reason to keep living.
    • Specific goals: This purpose was often a specific task left unfinished, a book to write, or a loved one waiting for them outside the camp.

    2. Rich Inner Life and Spiritual Freedom
    • Intellectual detachment: People with deep intellectual backgrounds or rich inner lives were able to retreat from their terrible surroundings into a world of inner wealth and spiritual freedom.
    • Appreciation for art and nature: The ability to find intense beauty in a sunset, a single flower, or a poem provided a psychological refuge that protected their minds from shattering.

    3. The Capacity for Transcendent Love
    • Focus on a loved one: Frankl discovered that thinking deeply about his wife allowed him to transcend his physical suffering.
    • Love as salvation: He realized that human salvation is through love and in love. Holding onto the mental image of a beloved person gave prisoners a powerful reason to endure.

    4. Radical Choice of Attitude
    • Inner freedom: Frankl noted that guards could strip away everything except one thing: "the last of the human freedoms—to choose one's attitude in any given set of circumstances."
    • Dignity over environment: Those who thrived refused to let the camp environment dictate who they were. They chose to be brave, dignified, and unselfish, even in the face of death.

    5. Self-Transcendence and Altruism
    • Helping others: Some prisoners walked through the huts comforting others and giving away their last piece of bread.
    • Shifting focus outward: By focusing on the well-being of others rather than their own suffering, these individuals maintained their morality and a profound sense of human agency.

    6. Grim Humor as a Shield
    • A weapon of the soul: Frankl regarded humor as one of the soul's weapons in the fight for self-preservation.
    • Temporary detachment: Even a few seconds of lightheartedness or irony allowed prisoners to rise above their situation and gain a sense of distant perspective.
