Here is the text from the U.S. Congressional Report back in April stating for the first time:

“Ceuta and Melilla are located in Moroccan territory and remain the subject of Morroco’s longstanding claim”

It calls on Sec. of State Marco Rubio to facilitate that status change.

Make it very damn clear Marco Rubio is completely in on this invasion of Ceuta.

US Congressional report in April for the first time labels it “occupied Moroccon territory” and “supports Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s efforts on the status of Ceuta”

This is to punish Spain ⬇️

Yes. This is a neocon-orchestrated punishment for Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez following his strong public support of Palestine and criticism of Israel.

🇪🇸🇲🇦 MIGRANTS ALREADY RETURNING TO MOROCCO

Dozens of migrants are returning to Morocco after a large influx into Ceuta. Some of the migrants have stated that they did not have access to food in Ceuta, while others have said they were "deceived" into entering the area.

Despite the return of some migrants, other groups are still trying to reach Ceuta; meanwhile, Moroccan forces have increased border controls

What has happened is an attack on Spain's territorial integrity and deserves our most resounding and energetic condemnation.

All of Spain stands with the people of Ceuta. The Government of Spain stands with the Autonomous City.

Thank you for the cooperation that we have always maintained with the city government.

We will use all the resources of the State to guarantee security and coexistence.

And our total and resounding commitment to the future of the Autonomous City of Ceuta.

Who could possibly have been responsible for orchestrating such an invasion of Spain, or any other country for that matter...

    https://www.timesofisrael.com/livebl...mediate-price/

After kicking Spain out of Gaza ceasefire center, Netanyahu promises that countries opposing Israel will pay ‘immediate price’

Countries that “wage a diplomatic war” against Israel will pay “an immediate price,” says Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after Israel boots Spain from the Civil-Military Coordination Center in Kiryat Gat.

The CMCC oversees the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Spain had a permanent presence at the headquarters, an Israeli official tells The Times of Israel.

“Israel will not remain silent in the face of those who attack us,” he says in a video statement.

“Spain has defamed our heroes, IDF soldiers — the soldiers of the most moral army in the world,” Netanyahu continues.

The move is sure to play well in the White House. Spain closed its airspace to US planes involved in attacks on Iran, after it denied use of jointly-operated military bases.

Ties between Jerusalem and Madrid steadily deteriorated over the following two years as Spain’s government expressed increasing anger and frustration against Israel over the war in Gaza.

Last month, Spain permanently withdrew its ambassador to Israel. It sent its ambassador back to Iran this week.

“Those who attack Israel instead of terrorist regimes — whoever does so — will not be our partner regarding the future of the region,” says Netanyahu.

“I am not prepared to tolerate this hypocrisy and this hostility,” he concludes. “I do not intend to allow any country to wage a diplomatic war against us without paying an immediate price.”

Don’t fall for the fake Fox/GOP outrage. Two weeks ago the House passed a bill that greenlighted the transfer of Spanish territory to Morocco. Every Republican except me voted for it, but now THEY are acting shocked at the invasion.

2 weeks before migrants from Morocco invaded Ceuta, the GOP passed a bill with $40 million for Morocco and a committee report advising:

Spanish-administered cities of Ceuta and Melilla are located in Moroccan territory and remain the subject of Morocco's longstanding claim.

Several interesting articles in Algeria on the events of Ceuta. As a reminder, Algeria and Morocco are still opposed, especially on the very sensitive issue of Western Sahara.
In it, the Moroccan intelligence services are clearly targeted:

    https://elwatan.dz/invasion-de-ceuta...ent-marocains/

    Translation :

"From the very beginning, this invasion of the Spanish enclave by more than 60,000 Moroccans felt like a 'setup.'

Three days after this event that made headlines around the world, the theory of the Makhzen conspiracy to destabilize Pedro Sanchez's government and the entire Mediterranean region became clearer.
The newspaper El Español reported that the Spanish Civil Guard identified Moroccan intelligence agents among the thousands of people who crossed the Moroccan border into Ceuta.

"The Civil Guard detected, thanks to the camera system installed at the Ceuta border, the presence of Moroccan intelligence service agents infiltrated among the groups of migrants who entered the city irregularly during the last wave of migration."
Additionally, sources from the same media outlet indicate that "the Moroccan intelligence services apparently had the mission of facilitating the crossing of illegal migrants to the Spanish side… the presence of Moroccan intelligence members among the migrants is not an isolated case, but a phenomenon that the Civil Guard says it has observed during previous episodes of migratory pressure on Ceuta and Melilla."

El Español also specifies that "Moroccan gendarmes also contributed to this forced entry into the city of Ceuta (...). In some of the videos that circulated this week about the arrival of more than 50,000 immigrants at the Ceuta border, You can see how the Moroccan gendarmes transported them in trucks to bring them closer to the city. In recent days, there have been many testimonies about the collaboration of the Moroccan forces and their passivity…

Exposed, the Makhzen shut itself up in a deadly silence, before 'issuing' a statement that convinced no one. The Makhzen is overwhelmed by testimonies gathered, among others, by The New York Times, from young migrants who made the crossing and claim that they were encouraged, even helped, by Moroccan security services to cross the border.

Ill-advised, the Alaouite authorities had planned this ridiculous invasion on the very evening Mohammed VI gave his speech for the Throne Day. Consequences of this Machiavellian plan by the Makhzen: 76 officially dead, an undetermined number of injured and missing.

Perplexed, Moroccan citizens lament the vacation departures to a Spanish island of Akhannouch, the head of the Moroccan government, 48 hours after this unspeakable 'war' waged by his regime. 'Total contempt for a people who are experiencing one of the worst social situations in years.' No national mourning was declared for the victims of this latest royal 'foolishness.' Another indifference, another contempt towards free Moroccans. Chahredine Berriah"

    ******

Not a single woman or young child in this crowd. And curiously, for people who are about to leave their country permanently, it’s still strange not to see a single backpack or bundle, nor even a bottle of water for the road. A good part of them only had shorts and probably a mobile phone in their pocket.
We necessarily told them: "don’t worry, everything is organized, you will have everything you need on site."

And a hungry crowd become ultimately violent.

These people are still stuck in Ceuta - for those who stay - and cannot cross without planes or boats, so the invasion of Spain is not won by this mean.

But Marocco is certainly not the only orchestra conductor of this operation...

Aprajita Nafs Nefes 🦋 Ancient Believer

🇪🇸|The Third Night at Puerta del Sol: Madrid Is Teaching All of Europe What It Means to Be "Un-evictable"

Puerta del Sol. The third night. Hundreds of tents. Madrid refuses to go home.

They aren't just "protesting." They are living there. In the square. At bank entrances. At subway station exits. In the very heart of the Spanish nation. Their tents are their homes, because their actual homes were turned into investment portfolios by vulture funds.

    "We are un-evictable."

This isn't a slogan. It is a legal fact. When a family is surrounded by thousands of people, an eviction order cannot be enforced. When a community stands guard at the doorway, the police cannot enter. When an entire city says no, the government must make a choice: use violence against its own people, or admit defeat.

Madrid chose to stall. The protesters chose to stay.

    Mari Carmen

They are standing guard over Mari Carmen’s home. A name. A woman. A door. An eviction order.

She is not behind on her rent. She lives in a building acquired by a fund. The new owner wants her out. Wants to renovate. Wants to raise the rent. Wants to turn her home into profit.

    She refuses.

So the neighbors came. The unions came. The square was occupied. And "Mari Carmen’s home" became "Madrid’s home." Because anyone renting in Madrid could be the next Mari Carmen. Anyone in Madrid unable to pay the rent could be the next person facing eviction.

They aren't just protecting one person. They are protecting everyone.

    Who Is Evicting?

Blackstone. The world’s largest asset management firm. Hoarding tens of thousands of housing units in Spain. Terminating social lease contracts in Barcelona. Buying up entire buildings in Madrid. Evicting tenants during the pandemic in the US. Acquiring student housing in the UK.

Vulture funds. Funds that bought up Spain’s housing stock after the 2008 crisis. Waiting for property prices to hit rock bottom. Waiting for eviction orders to take effect. Waiting to resell at double the price after renovations. Foreign buyers. In Barcelona, foreign buyers account for 14% of transactions. In Barceloneta, they make up 49.6% of buyers. In high-pressure housing zones, 30% of apartments have no registered residents. They are assets. Not homes.

The Sánchez government. It proposed a 100% tax. It proposed a housing decree. It declared that "the free lunch is over." But the bill didn't pass. The decree is under negotiation. Evictions continue.

The President of the Community of Madrid. The person responsible for carrying out eviction orders. What is her government doing? Waiting. Watching. Hoping the protesters will simply tire themselves out.

They haven't tired. This is the third night.

    Why Puerta del Sol?

Puerta del Sol was not chosen at random. It is the birthplace of the 2011 15-M movement. It is where the *Indignados* (the Outraged) occupied the square and redefined Spanish politics. It is where the slogan "Real Democracy Now" was first shouted.

Fifteen years later: the same square, the same generation (and their children), the same enemy.

Housing. Jobs. Dignity. Democracy. In 2011, they shouted, "We are not commodities." In 2026, they shout, "We are un-evictable."

The same anger. The same determination. The same refusal.

    General Strike

    "General strike, now."

This is not a "call." It is an ultimatum. If the government doesn't stop evictions, if vulture funds don't stop their plunder, if rents aren't frozen, if contracts aren't automatically renewed all of Spain will grind to a halt.

This is not a "demand" from the Left. It is a "declaration of war" from the working class.

When workers cannot live where they work, the economy stops turning. When nurses cannot afford rent near the hospital, healthcare collapses. When teachers are pushed out to the suburbs, schools empty out. When young people can never afford to buy a home, the future dies.

A general strike does not "ask" for change. It "creates" change
