    Blessings in this family here....

The process of my healing is ongoing, as is life for everyone.

Much learned and much exposed to me...And there are many insights and dramatic incidents that reveal both the true condition of the modern, often barbaric conditions alive in allopathic practices...but just as importantly the true condition of those who carry the burden of day to day care we experience in hospitals and secondary professional nursing facilities. THOSE PROFESSIONAL ARE NOT THE OWNERS OF THE INSTITUTIONS THEMSELVES....and this is another deliberately missing fact that I came to understand.

If you know me I communicate with all I come in contact with...So, there are a lot of personal stories to share...reflecting the universal truth that when we ask those we meet their names, with our attentive Listening, listening, listening...Soonee-eh Deep..almost all in the care fields share their own experiences and, especially, the limitations imposed on them from the medical cartels. In listening we gain the gifts of many worlds...while we relieve ourselves of present pains and the hidden ties that must be relieved from our spirits when we heal in deeper levels...

For me..., in what is only months in linear time, I realized that my expressions I share in writing will be in gratitude....For all of the health care workers whose dedication, genuine concern and daily actions gave me the highest possibility to recover, while still in the primitive and highly constricted system of western hospitals.

There is so much that holds everyone back from healing, but it can accurately be followed back to the actuarial, zero Kelvin, directly inhumane restrictions each health care worker is held under in order to keep their livelihood alive, their families fed, their bills paid, their credentials current. Rare are the ones who have not, in one way or the other, IF WE ONLY LISTEN TO THEM, dedicated their day to day efforts to serving those in their care.

These health care workers, from the aides, to the nurses aides, to the nurses, the many varieties of techs, the transportation workers, the paramedics from each local 1st responders groups, even the credentialed doctors-the most arrogant and unchallenged "professionals" of all, go about their days, to be exact OUR DAYS of surviving or dying in their care, with unrecognized and DESERVED THANKS for their efforts...

Like all things western, the medical industries are deliberately focused at another, more advanced level of the theft of human energies. Every single thing I experienced that prevented me from healing can be traced back to greed of the owners of the health insurance industries, their paid political whores and the media they control to prevent the wider public and the health care professionals from joining forces to change the entire system. Our very public union is likely the atmosphere that the corrupt cabals fear the most...hence, it will be the most effective.

Our effects upon the system itself can only be successful if we purposely make these connections between us and do so without being violent... what my Son and Nephew call the opposite of the Mario Effect, refusing to use the name of the spoiled, rich brat, Luigi, whose violence was pure selfishness, devoid of any conscious efforts to heal anyone or any system. We are all much better than that.
It is so very good to hear from you, Hym ( deeeeeep breath )

My first day in a major hospital in a large southwestern city here in the states I was given a solid, soulful insight that I carried with me thru most of the processes I endured, survived and finally left behind...

Just before lunch on this day a doctor came in to give me her advice, not to check up on me, nor to examine me, nor even to ask me any questions about my health. She said that she was there to "remind me to always trust my intuition".

She told me that when she was a beginning intern she was in the company of a seasoned specialist who gave her advice that she immediately recognized as completely dangerous to the one patient they were examining at the time.

Because she followed her intuition she refused to give that patient either one of two treatments that she later found out would have killed that patient. She reminded me to "FOLLOW MY INTUITION". I never saw or heard from her after that, all the while appreciating what ever drove her to my bedside to remind me of my rights to guide my own healing.

I did that for all of the times I was at the 3 facilities that treated me, and I walk to this day adding her spiritual advice to the spirit of learning I've always had within my being.

    ________________

During the times that my barely survival level foods were delivered to me none the less I, as always, thanked those who brought me those foods... a habit I'd recommend to anyone who spends any time in a hospital setting...because it's the openness I got in return that was often rewarded...

One early afternoon, one of the servers who transported some of my food to me said, "Remember that the Beast is a Beast. Do not treat it in any other way than what it is. It is always a Beast". He meant that the inhumane treatment he had witnessed in his few years serving food to patients there exposed the profit driven system for what it is...A Beast.

    _______________

During my 2nd week at the same hospital I had already had very concerning experiences about the uninformed advice I was given. In the middle of the day at the same institution a doctor came in and asked me what I thought so far about my experiences there. With my fist I hit the bed next to my leg and said, "Evil".

The doctor gave me a slight smile and said, "Sir, I completely agree with you." and he walked out of the room.

Bill is spot on with his praise of the community of Amazing People we have here. The Avalon member who helped me is all of that, and so much more.....

Traveling from the other side of a major mountain range here, passing into and beyond a larger city and then up another 30 minutes to pick me up and take me to appointments...That's a minimum of 1 1/2 hours just to pick me up !!!!

In order for someone to dedicate her time and energies to help out another Avalonian, selflessly, with that great smile.....this is yet another testament to the spirit of serving others, lived in real time, alive beyond words, a deep knowledge of ourselves inspired into action by our support of each other. These actions are the lives of me and my close friends and define the spirit of altruism that often finds no boundaries in our interactions with each other, so in this world I am only GRATEFUL.....

This one, very graceful lady just so happens to exemplify what the very natural progression of our self empowerment should become, albeit in direct opposition to artificial construct of the dying world of emf's now being forced upon us. The devolution of our humanities that seeks to shut down the natural progression of the development of our innate abilities to transcend our present limitations is the world we face now.

She is exactly like the one friend who finally picked me up and took me in to the hospital to at least find out what was depleting my energies, the situation I was living that was prompting me to lose 30 lbs. in 3 months, and aging 20 years in the same short time. I know, temporary circumstances that in short time will be reversed...but necessary, personal challenges that gave me the opportunity to accurately experience the lives of a major group of people who are disconnected from the rest of us, groups purposely kept from interacting with the rest of us in order that our union's strength not be able to end the great theft that the few in temporary control of our finances have used to keep us weak and divided. No more.

These two great friends walk by street lights and the lights turn on or off. Their presence alone disrupts computers. Their talking on cell phones is often interrupted and disrupted by "poor signal strength".... or so it is said....and you and I know that is not the case.

And it should not be surprising that this beautiful soul, is partnered with an I.T. expert, making life choices that prompt a deeper understanding of her own natural, energetic being, whether it was her conscious decision or not to prompt a challenge to her own purpose in being here. It's reminiscent of our friend, Target, recognizing the need to remain purposefully challenged in order to remain healthy and balanced.

That great friend of mine is quite similar. He lives between two mountains in a place where I would not recommend anyone else to even attempt to live, as the ground rocks there and the piezo-electric mineral content of the land is not meant for anyone else but those very few to absorb and interact with.

There is more to share about this journey, insights from a man naturally outside of many systems...all the while aware of the inside journey that connects us all...

Default Re: An Avalon member has a serious health problem

I'd post here more often if I wasn't still dealing with serious issues I have to deal with alone, alone because I was released from the hospital and a living nursing facility way before I should have been, which is a blatant violation of both state and federal laws prohibiting the release of a patient while knowing that patient does not have adequate home care and basic, needed utilities available.

Without some home care it is near impossible to take care of the tubes attached to my kidneys from openings in my back, so I hope I can manage. I still have 3 appointments these days and some followups later on...So I consider myself having to correct all of the negligence that the system has left me with. Some of that stupidity, that arrogance, that unanswered b.s. is unforgivable and quite callously nurtured in the only way that american hospital employees communicate with each other, while protecting the system that deliberately abuses the hard earned pensions and tax burdened trust of its citizens.

The swollen leg I have from post biopsy to this day, over a month passed, has not once been answered or addressed by a single one of the doctors or techs who have heard me talk about it, in detail in person-with many pictures taken, the same ones I've shown time and time again. My right thigh is 4 inches wider in circumference than my left thigh, my right calf and right ankle swollen out of proportion to my left. Not even a guess or a referral to another specialist dealing with edema?

I've been home for 5 days or so, which is a list of worries I deal with while remaining positive, while taking my meds and eating a much healthier, and less expensive diet than institutional fare. I do feel healthier making my own food, and not being attacked by those who ran the living nursing facility I was in, as they have a very corrupt way of dismissing patients from hospitals, unless they agree to give away the largest bulk of their retirement funds after 100 days in their facility. Because my monthly retirement fund is less than half of the average it is obvious that the place I was "discharged" from did so entirely based upon how much profit they'd guarantee the investors by keeping me there after the 100 days ....lies, lies, lies.

Medicare covers the 1st 21 days usually without much fuss, but then, as the hospital administrator of one facility I was in, told me in great detail, and DELIBERATELY IN VIOLATION OF STATE AND FEDERAL LAWS, the care facility has to get reimbursed for the next covered days, days 22 to 100- which it seems the for-profit approach prefers to not do, UNLESS THE PATIENT AGREES TO SIGN OVER ALMOST ALL OF THEIR REMAINING SOCIAL SECURITY PENSIONS FOR THE REMAINDER OF THEIR LIVES, thus days 101 to the end of the patient's life, by signing a "long term care agreement" which takes 95% or more of all remaining social security retirement funds, leaving the patient with what the administrator referred to as "pocket change. walking around money".

That administrator was so arrogant that he told me out front that he didn't give a damn about me, my health, my long term care or my future financial security. My son and my nephew were astonished at his ignorance and lack of common schooling, yet there he was...running a facility that profited in the millions for the owners.

A long time patient advocate for seniors told me that those so-called living nursing facilities "DO WHAT THEY WANT. The laws protecting patient's rights be damned!" She was pissed. Pissed because there is no real protection for the rights of patients upheld by any agency in New Mexico....Surprised! You shouldn't be because the hospitals and care facilities all bribe/pay for campaigns of the politicians of both major political parities in this state, politicians who write the laws and the loopholes that protect those institutions from upholding their charters to protect the rights and the health of their patients.

And the so called ombudsmen, paid to protect patient's rights, are in collusion with those who run the facilities, the charge nurses, the social services directors, the facility managers. Are there any kickbacks from the institutions to the state chartered ombudsmen? That is highly likely considering the conversations I heard them having between each other.

I'm finally, after nearly 2 months into this medical ordeal, getting a primary care nurse practitioner to supposedly take over my care, relative to the stage 4 prostate cancer I was diagnosed with. So much of the system is dishonest and very averse to simply telling patients what their real conditions are, all as a result of those doctors and nurses and the hospitals, nursing facilities being sued, most often for good cause.

Getting back to being here has been good and very stressful, because I never should have been released while both of those places knew I didn't yet have home care for the things that should be looked after, things I can't possibly do on my own, of course until these temporary tubes into my kidneys, thru holes in my back skin, are removed. This also includes the fact that I don't yet have running water here, which both institutions know about in detail....this breaks federal and state law against releasing patients to unsafe placement...either at their home or at another inadequate facility.

I keep up my cancer-stopping and removing meds, along with eating homemade meals....
Yet the doctors are idiots, just as are some of the nurses and their aides....telling me entirely different things about the needs to maintain self care and to bi-daily clean the ports on the nephrostomy tube ports, or not.

Here in the states many hospitals, a major one based in New Mexico and now owned by Billionaires from India and working out of the tax haven state of Texas, use immigrants from their own countries, thus abusing the B-1 temporary visas that pay their country folk much less than their credentialed American counterparts.

In one hospital in Albuquerque there exists the highest number of African nationals employed as the cheapest replacements for American interns, representing 6 African countries. That's not a problem at all until you realize that the hospitals and schools here are training more than enough interns, american born students from many different racial and socio-economic backgrounds who often leave the state for higher pay in other states. The entirety of this scenario is pre-planned by those profiteers who game the system politically...And here is a point that I have to shout out for it's hypocrisy...

Both of the hospitals I was treated at advertise themselves as "NON PROFIT". That is a cruel joke to all taxpayers and customers of the health insurance industry. Who the FK would believe that, given all of the planned abuses and constrictions that almost all health care workers are chained to?

The whole of the Covid Plan included many deliberate plans to lower the standards of life in the states, but specifically to lower the quality of health care that has always been the massive cash cow for the thieves who operate the health care insurance industries.

Hiring foreign workers insures the same almost perfect protection from employees speaking up against obvious unsafe health care practices. The major institution that I was treated in actually ran out of clean water while I was there, making it imperative that patients and workers drink only bottled water! Thats what it's like for an American hospital that has 40 lawyers on its active roster working to protect it from predictable malfeasance, instead of correcting the bad practices from the offset.

It should not be a surprise that the owners of that same corporation created the rumor that it will declare bankruptcy in the months ahead..a lie that simply creates the "legal" reasoning for the well known hospital, located in several cities in the state, to be taken over by billionaires who will take the accounting to another state where the taxes are less, unethically working the tax laws from state to state to create instant assets, instant profit. Ah New F'N Mexico....striving to remain the most corrupt state in the union...and succeeding in many ways....

Yet that is not nor has it ever been a valid reason, an excuse, to remain silent or complicit.

Default Re: An Avalon member has a serious health problem

Dear Hym - I think(?) Medicare coverage for nursing-home stays is a standard problem for lots of seniors on SS and Medicare in all the US states.

Here is how I understand it to be:
    • Days 1–20: Medicare pays 100% of the cost (after any applicable Part A hospital deductible is met).
    • Days 21–100: You pay a daily coinsurance rate ($217 per day in 2026), and Medicare pays the rest.
    • Days 101 and beyond: Medicare pays $0, and you are responsible for 100% of the costs.

No Long-Term Custodial Care: Medicare does not pay for long-term care or personal care (such as help with bathing, dressing, or eating) if you do not need daily skilled medical care.
Medical Necessity: A doctor must certify that you need daily skilled care (such as physical therapy or specialized nursing care).
    ---------------

So, maybe with your new primary care person, you can get a doctor to certify your need for some skilled home help with your tubes? Be sure to request this emphatically to every doctor you have an appointment with! Tell them you are simply unable to take care of the tubes yourself.

So many seniors do not realize that long-term care is not provided with medicare, and are shocked when they are told how much it costs to continue after day 21. The only way it is provided appears to be yes, if you are proven to be low income/assets and your entire SS check then goes to your long-term care and you are placed on medicaid. For people that can pay for some long-term care, it costs an arm and a leg monthly, until everything they have is gone anyway, so they end up in the same place --- BROKE and on medicaid. (I suspect this prevents transfer of wealth to the next generation for us masses, unlike the upper-class.)

Some even choose hospice if offered, as that is free. Your meds mostly cease, as does doctor care, but it does provide care and equipment, even when hospice at home is chosen. I have known some folks that have been on hospice for months, refusing the "comfort meds" offered, and then actually getting "discharged" from hospice because they have gotten well again. I think they re-evaluate the need every 6 months. A friend of mine was on hospice at home for a year, and then recovered from her cancer. True story.

The Caregiver Forum is so very helpful for discussing and answering questions about all these obstacles. They helped me a lot to navigate the system for my loved ones. Can't recommend them highly enough.

And I do feel that healing at home is greatly superior. Hopefully you can find some rides and help for your water situation. Maybe ask folks on that forum for advice.

MANY healing thoughts have been and are being sent your way by all the great people here.

    THANKS, SUE....

    • "Days 21–100: You pay a daily coinsurance rate ($217 per day in 2026), and Medicare pays the rest".

The daily coinsurance rate is $417 per day at the same place this year.

In my case the whole purpose for me is to get better while still having the needs I cannot take care of met. I am getting better, except for the fact that my right nephrostomy tube is likely not connected to my right kidney. The better part of that, if it is not dangerous to still have a tube temporarily still in my body, is that I have been urinating from my kidneys thru the ureters, then into my bladder and out my urethra. I have been measuring its output for 3 days before discovering this a.m. that there was no urine in my right nephrostomy bag. The daily 16 ounce output, that I've taken time stamped pictures of is a good beginning.

When I had what I knew to be a brush off from my last urologist meeting this past Friday, the doctor told me that it would make no sense to put stints in my ureters (the tubes going from the kidneys to the urinary bladder) because when he looked at a scan of my bladder from 6 weeks ago he said the openings from the ureters, the tubes, to my bladder were closed. Then how have I been able to relieve myself normally for over a weeks time by now?

It sounds like he didn't then hear me say that I was already urinating a healthy stream from my urethra because then he said in that case the blockage from adding stints would only make things worse. I had requested that he postpone our appointment until the most recent ptscan was evaluated and was made available, but he ignorantly made the prognosis because it seems he had an agenda to dismiss me entirely, feigning some brotherly sympathy for what he projected as a terminal case.....

That has to be the worst show of arrogance and misjudgement of my physical condition and my mental awareness. He did say he wanted to see me again in 4 months, if I was still around. Wow...

Again, I had told him that I was already urinating inspite of the nephrostomy tubes gathering urine, but all he said in response was ,"Oh".

By the way I did NOT acquire a primary care physician today because I would not sign a guarantor agreement to pay the physician and the hospital beyond what my Medicaid coverage takes care of, because I know thru all of the paperwork and digital records that all of those tests are covered, and the fact that I cannot guarantee to pay with monies I do not, at this time, have.

This is the first time that has happened, but I caught the con they use to get people to unknowingly sign on for additional payments, in addition to all of the many thousands they already collect each day when a patient is hospitalized, often charging a base fee of $8,000 a day, irregardless of services rendered.

The system is that cold, that unorganized and that overtly corrupt. Their problems are theirs and theirs alone, because personal rights folks like me have never considered the for profit systems to be honest, nor worthy of adoration, compliance or hope. We survive and thrive all while exercising our rights to maintain control of our health choices.

The good is that today I was weighed in at 164 lbs., which is actually 160 lbs. without shoes and clothes. That is good as I weighed in at 145lbs. when this all started, and weighed 174 lbs. before I got ill.

Well, it sounds like very good news that your functions are returning along with gaining weight Hym. Do keep up doing what you know is helping!

Sometimes you have to doctor shop until you find one you can relate to and who will listen, although you have to realize that they, too, are walking on a thin line in the medical machine, and have to toe the line (officially). And their time is so limited by the system these days. Writing your questions down before you see them helps. There are a few human good ones left. Have you looked around for another urologist who accepts your insurance? (Yours sounds awful!)

Also - in my experience it is pretty standard that all medical care in the states requires us to sign that paper about who is the responsible party for payment above and beyond insurance. You just have to be really careful that whatever tests or procedures are ordered are covered, and refuse any that aren't, I suppose. Ask! Or fight the system until they concede to cover truly needed things. Hospitals are notorious for ordering unnecessary things and billing insurance for them.

Can you shop around for a good primary care physician? One who you feel compatible with and will work with you? I have found that reading patient reviews of doctors on the internet sites can be helpful.

(You might even rate that nasty urologist yourself, to warn others!)
You could even walk into the office and see if it has a good, healthy feeling before booking an appointment.

I sure hope you are feeling better, as all this is exceedingly hard to do when you're bad off. Would be great if you found a trusted person who could help you navigate the system. But from your posts, it sounds like you are feeling a whole lot more capable now yourself. A trusted primary physician can also help a lot for any future emergency situations.
