Anybody got an explanation for these Orbs

But try this do a test yourself get a vidoe camera set it to night mode press record.Now get a towel shake it very hard up and down and across the floor and there you have it hundreds of them.

For about 3 months now I have been seeing little purple/violet/indigo orbs, they appear and dissapear quite quickily and there's no specific time or place. Can anyone relate?

i've been photographing orbs for about 5 years now and wanted to show you guys a couple of really amazing ones...

I like the second one, seems like a pretty long line at Starbucks...

take a picture right next to where someone else is drilling a hole into a concrete wall....

wow some great orb pics , i once lived in a flat that every picture you had taken was a garantee to have orbs in and found out by a medium that there was a little spirt girl in the flat she caused no harm , she did like hideing my ash tray though i found it in the toilet one morning lol .

yeah,there are many theories on orbs..some say they are the mekaba vehicles of both positive and negative entities,some say they are elementals,some say they are new corrective enegry particle formations,some say they are just speacks of dust or mist caught on camera.Whatever they are ,they're pretty cool looking

I started to see orbs about 3 years ago and was initially concerned that I may have some kind of problem with my eyes. I had two comprehensive eye examinations performed - everything fine. At the same time I started to notice orbs showing up in photographs of myself and loved ones. Curious, I carefully looked at about 100 recent photographs taken under varying conditions and circumstances and with several different cameras, both digital and film. 26% of the shots had clear and sometimes multiple orbs in the shots. I can now fairly accurately predict when an orb will show up in a shot. I can see basically three types of orbs with my naked eyes, blue floating balls and silver and gold points of light. I see them multiple times every day. Bill has posted a very good and typical orb shot taken when he was talking with Jim Humble.

Hi 42, thanks for directing me to this thread. I would like to know what it is i am seeing with my naked eye as well. Camera orbs are interesting, and can be easily 'explained away' as dust or water, but when you see them first hand with the physical eye, well, you start to wonder.

I have noticed a pattern with seeing orbs, there are certain thoughts that seem to trigger them. I will also very often see them flashing around my clients heads, and very often when they are sharing about a departed loved one.

I would really love to hear some feedback or ideas about what it is that i am seeing.

They vary in size and shape, sometimes it is a pin point of light, and sometimes about the size of a baseball. Sometimes i see them for a split second only and sometimes they last for about 5 seconds, those ones tend to sparkle or a have a more silver sheen to them. Mostly though they are either white or blue.

I am sure it could be just my eyes, but i don't think so, anyone know what this is?

I had not really taken much acceptance to such in the past..until I knew that I was taking them...I couldn't see them until I looked at the camera screen..as I was snapping photos at my sisters wedding. I did capture a really good one..when my uncle is standing between the large orb and the camera.. I will find it and post it if I am able to post pics here.. I shall return later to do so.

I have no doubt about Energies/spirits/ghosts they are as real as you and I...among other things... I have been awaken to much..through personal experiences..

I wonder if there are any accounts of orbs pre digital photography? That would really interest me. I think quite unexcitingly most pictures can be put down to dust particles at varying distances to a focused camera. It doesn't help investigators that famously haunted houses are usually old and dusty!

this is the ONE photo that sticks out...it is at my sisters wedding reception..and..I could feel the energy and power in the air...I was aware of these "orbs" as I took the photos..I could see them in the camera view screen as I was looking and taking pictures..Anyway...if this is just dust particles...then I cannot say much..other than here...

99,9% of all "orbs" pictures are provoked by dust, moisture, insects and other suspended particles reflections, specially when you have the auto-focus turned on on your camera. Others are just optical artifacts like lens flares.

A good orb recipe is to spray some water on the air, in a low lighten environment, turn on your camera´s flash, turn off the red-eye compensation of your camera, turn on the auto-focus and have fun. Any kind of dust will work as well, but water particles gives better fractal particles effects.

A regular camera can´t actually see more than you can with your naked eye and a good flashlight, except for the artifacts produced by the camera itself.

If you see orbs with your own naked eyes, you´re into something. I´ve seen some myself. However, if you only see something trough your camera, specially cheap ones, the chances are very high that you´re seeing just regular optical artifacts.

A good way to perceive it, is to use a video camera, so you can see "orbs" anytime you want, in real time.
