No,and since this was some years ago,I doubt it can be checked now at all. We dont live at that particular flat anylonger.

If so? Shadow beings have also been described as forms of ghosts, demons, inter-dimensional beings.

No it did not. It was completley compact. Not fuzzy at all. Not "shadowy" just....solid if you know what I mean.

Yes,it was a short time,but seemed really long. I think shock,made it seem ultrarapid. I feel I had the time to r e a l l y look at it. But its hard to tell. Afterwards we have wondered about,not seeing any gleamer of eyes or if it had a nose,or ears (if it had ears they did not stand out from the head very much at least).
It is still interesting,when we talk about it,even if we are just repeating the same. :D

No not at all. Just amazement. Maybe because it did not pay any attention to us what so ever.
I just could not believe my eyes.
Afterwards,when I went after it,into the livingroom, I did not have the courage to search for it though.

My Philipino friend Diana told me a story of seeing a creature that sounds very much like what you saw. Small, completely black, but the creature she saw had red eyes. She was with her brother and a friend and the creature appeared on the side of the road they were driving down in the Phillapins. It was in the day time.

A lot of ghost hunters talk about the Shadow people, they're entities that appear as a black silhouette...apparently their energy isn't strong enough to come all the way through in color. Most of the time they're smaller in size and go about their business as if you're not there....sounds kinda like what you experienced.

Your description reminded me of a video I saw awhile back of some kind of a Nightcrawler - Stickman creature, except these are white. This cracks me up every time I see it, the little guy almost appears to be looking for something on the ground...there's a completely different video with the same creatures, except it was taken in Fresno, this was in the Yosemite area

"My" creatures movement was exactly as a humans though. I think I would have been running and screaming if the movement would have been like this. :D

However, I may have seen something like this, a friend and I, but we never saw it move,only that it was gone in an instant. Standing still,it looked like an old silvery tree. About 100 cm in hight. This was in the woods while hiking. Wonder what these would look like standing still.

Some people can see, hear ,feel, more than others.. Why? I don't know..
I have been having these types of experiences from childhood. Back home in Mauritius, My family tells stories where i used to speak and play with ghost. Was they really ghost?
I saw things they couldn't. We moved to London England in 1974. Same thing happened. Everywhere i lived I had the same experiences. So i guest it's OK to rule out that the houses were haunted.

I see 6' - 7' beings standing at the bottom of my bed. They can even sit on my bed, i see and feel the bed move.. sometimes they get real close, so close i can hear them breath right next to my face.
I used to be petrified. But I'm kinda used to them now. I have attempted taking pictures of them, But non of them showed anything, So I started thinking maybe i had one spliff too many?

But then my partner confirmed she could not see them but feel them in the room. We sat up on many nights when these beings will manifest themselves. I can see dark black shadows, But can never see the face. It's almost like they are covered in a black tight skin suite. I can see them. I always have. But my partner can't. How can this be?
I went to a psychic fare a few years back. I sat down and was speaking to one of the wonderful ladies doing the fare. She stopped speaking, mouth dropped, and looked at me like she was looking right through me.
She said!! are you aware of the being around you? No I replied, thinking maybe she had one too many.. She went on and explained that i have this being that's around me. I told her she was wrong because there are two.

She said these were my spirit beings? they were hear to protect me.. Protect me from who? what? I have excepted this now. and feel OK with it. if they wanted to harm me, they can do it at anytime.
Someone must know what, who, are these beings. They have never tried to communicate with me.. they are just there..

So hearing many stories here on Avalon is proof I'm not alone with these experiences.. My view is that these beings follow you around. even to different countries..They are not bound to just one place or local.
Maybe they are all around us, we just can't see them because we are not tuned in to that frequency? But sometimes for a split second, a minute, we are? Don't you ever get the feeling you'll been watched? maybe you are?

Those pictures are good but not what i have seen. I have spoken about this here before, But it would seems that many are not comfortable with it.
These beings are not like me and you. They are half human and half something else. some would say reptilian, I would say more like birds.
Maybe they are the bird people? is there such a thing?

I used to live quite deep in the forest and often you could see the Will-o'-the-wisp phenomenon which often came out more often when it was Aurora in the sky.
It was truly remarkable sometimes what you can see but not fully believe or understand.

I recognize the "covered in a black tight skin " that is a little how I feel about this creature. It was so compact,like it had a catsuit on or like such.

A good few years ago now I saw a jet black figure for a short few seconds moving right next to me in my bedroom.. I knew it was evil because I was struck with fear instantly, frozen still I was even too afraid to breathe!

It would have been around 6’, and it was so, so black it seemed dense and full??
Actually 'pure black' fits much better.
One of a handful of similarly frightening experiences I’ve experienced growing up and never been able to explain to this day??

Did you get any sense of the creatures physical presence (eg sounds made by footsteps, things in its vicinity moved by the physical act of it walking) or was is a more insubstantial encounter (spiritual, ethereal, trans- dimensional or whatever you want to call it) ?

Oh, I´m nervous.
This is my first thread. Bare with my spelling errors and scatter-maner.


I want to tell you what my husband and I saw one night,some years back. And to ask your opinion to what it might have been;


We were standing in our kitchen, my husband was doing the washing up. I was behind him,a little to the side. I,was talking and his head was turned half towards me,to be able to hear me over the running water.
Suddenly he froze and his eyes grew wide. I followed his stare and there,in our hallway, a pitch-black....creature, casually strolled by!

It was completley black. Nothing stood out from its (his ? I percieved it as a him.) body. No visible hair,chlotes etc etc.
It was about 70 cm tall ( about 28 inches if I counted that correctly). No eyes,or gleaming of eyes. I dont recall ears sticking out or nose.
It was perfectly proportioned,like a human being. Slender,arms and legs in perfect harmony.
It walked with perfect ease,almost nonchalant.
It did not seem to see us,or at least care about us (maybe it is used to not being seen?).

We followed it with our eyes until it went out of our sight (about 1,5 - 2 meters).

I did not even get scared. I was baffled! I turned to hubby and went,something like;

" Was that.....?!?" " Did we see....?!?" " Am I....?!"...."What the.....!!"....

He just nodded,face white and mouth open. I went after the....thing,into the livingroom,but it was gone. I did not search for it,behind sofa etc,I was not that brave.

It seemingly,came from outside (door locked),passed our hall and vanished into the livingroom.


We have no drog-alcohol-psychiatric problems. And we both agreed on what we saw almost perfectly ( I initially thought the creature was smaller,but my husband cut out a cardboard piece of about 70 cm,and I could see he was about right in his estamate).

I have had strange encounters of a spiritual (? footsteps,banging/knocking sounds,heavy breathing etc) nature. But this seems different. In swedish I call it "naturespirit". Could this be one of those?


So..Has anyone seen anything like this also? Does anyone know what this could be?

I'm curious where you live, in Sweden.

There is a 'nexus' point in Sweden, southern Sweden, where 5 ley lines or vortex energy lines meet. This means that there is a chance that you live adjacent to a 'energy line' where ghosts, sleeping people projecting, being out of time, etc..can be seen. where the dimensional lines of consensus reality are weaker.

Basically, the point where they meet, that is a dimensional gateway, of a sort. Where the fabric of 3d reality as we all seem to think it is..where that fabric or 'strength of singular reality' is..weaker. Like a weak spot on the side of a pressurized tank..like a foam-leaky area..where energy can pass through in multiple directions and ways.

beside there being ley lines, there are ALSO Hotspots. I do have a pretty good idea on the HOW and WHY of the hot spots, but I'm keeping that point to myself, for the moment.
