I just erected my ground mounted, north facing solar array. Lots of concrete involved. I hope the sun hasn't made a mess of my alignments !

On my first attempt at reading this, I thought you must have read of some major realignment of the earth coming real soon... solar arrays face south!

Then I noticed you're from down under ... oh. Now it make sense.

Let me unscare all you people. My old garden wall is in alignment with the setting sun on June 21st, in the northwest, where it always has been. In temperate latitudes this is always the case, and the summer sun rises in the north-east. IN winter it never getes beyond south-east/south-west. The east-west trajectory is on the equator all year round.

Come on guys, this is really elementary!! This is what makes the days longer or shorter.
I have to agree here, I watch the sun rise and set every day, I have mountains and islands here in Scotland and can pinpoint the movement of the setting sun throughout the year. In winter it rises in the East in Summer it rises south east, in winter it sets in the west in summer it sets in the north west. All normal here.

But i do think something is happening in the southern hemosphere in antartica for the indiginous people to comment on it. They seem to having daylight at this time in midwinter when the sun should still be below the horizon.

Do you perhaps mean Canada or some where in the far north?

I don't think (officially anyway) there are any indigenous people in Antarctica.

All appears normal here in central Florida. If the sun were NOT rising/setting at northeast/northwest currently I WOULD be concerned. Very concerned. I'll bet you my last cold Budweiser that on the morning of September 21 it will be East/West again. Go out again the morning of December 21 and it will be southeast/southwest. After that it will begin it's migration back north again. The ancients knew this stuff inside and out, The layout of places like Stonehenge is a prime example.

This is different from what Pharaoh mentioned about Tampa's north/south runway being off now because of magnetic north shifting. That is true.

    Cheers,
    Fred

    G'day All,

No change in rise or set position of sun, nor duration of day (compared to other years in July) in my neck of the woods (southern Australia).

    Kind Regards,

    This site is interesting

Forget the scientists they talk ****e and are controlled by tptb

    http://www.divulgence.net/

A year on earth is measured by one complete trip around the sun. Seems simple enough but there is a problem. The earth doesn’t travel in a path around the sun that returns it to its starting point. So how do we know when the year starts or ends. I don’t know if there is any truth in the video below. Who’s to even say that thing we call the sun is real but i wont go into that as that would be opening another can of worms

Do you guys remember the thread about the Sun blacking out sometime either during the end of Feb or beginning of March for around 8 minutes? Sorry, I cannot remember the exact date. I was one of those who witnessed this happening during dawn in the UK. I have so many questions....
Something really odd is going on, I too have noticed the difference of the sun's positon. Then I just received this in my email about the moon being out of phase and rotating 135 degrees! They are wondering whether we are in a different more positive Timeline - That would be so wonderful if this is true!
I know this thread is discussing the Sun - but this would also effect the moon too my simple mind thinks, so I hope you don't mind me pasting this here. ?

This guy also did a radio intervew on coast to coast on the 28th June 2011 - so I am off now to hear this.

thanks much I knew you all would have different perspectives. that's most important , the more info from different vantages, the better. I did this to get everyone I could to notice the rise and set of the sun from your own neck of the woods. Here in tulsa ok, the sun is way too far north at sunrise and sunset. In july here it should be directly east and west straight, only from 10 to 530 is it correct, then it moves on a northern path to set.

    Hello,

Here in Romania the Sun is OK. It's setting in the same spot it always has at this time of the year.

I'm trying to get this straight (might need a strong leg pull...) but, are you saying that Tulsa used to be located right on the Tropic of Cancer and has now moved far enough North to have a ENE/WNW sun rise/set?

Or is it that between 10 and 530 it is on the Tropic of Cancer latitude but before and after it suddenly goes to locate itself far North? Like in Oklaoma?

Usually, be the weather change or the sunset and sunrise changes, or the duration of daylight, it is always far north or south that it will be first noticed, because of the tilt of the earth that is much more pronounced at the antipodes and the weather changes because of a relatively more fragile environment (ice melts, permafrost defrost).

Inuits therefore will be the first ones to notice. We can rely pretty much on what they say, their earth science is ancestral and still alive. They do have comparison points. So either the earth is changing its rotation, or the northern crust is moving. A third alternative is that inuits may like joking quite lot and could be playing one to the white men, but I truly doubt this last possibility.

Here, in the US, the sun in july is supposed to rise in the east, and set in the west, yesterday I noticed the sun rised in the NORTHEAST, and set in the NORTHWEST. I'm not talking a little, alot, it has moved almost half way between west and north. I've heard the earth was knocked off it's axis during the japan quake this year. The Jet stream is in canada now, and we've had 100 plus degrees since june 1st. The next seven days it's forcast still 104 plus everyday, 90 at night 104-110 everyday. I have a theory, the earth has moved 200 miles south or more. I need reference from anyone in the UK, or anyplace, watch the sunrise and sunset in your town and see if it's out of place. any help is appreciated. keep your light saber close.
Yes, I have noticed the same here in Ontario Canada. The sun definitely is rising and setting in the NE and NW respectively.

    Hey Ghostrider,
I'm thinking that it has more to do with the Earth wobbling than the SUN moving around. I've been keeping an eye on the moon (when there aren't any clouds) and it's doing strange things, too. Not always, but this one time it was a crescent moon, straight up and down and by the time it reached the other side of the night sky, it was horizontal. I've never seen such a thing....I believe that's why the chemtrails are being used: to hide these kinds of abnormalities....
