Yes, that was what I was trying to point out, I too find it very possible that the Mayans have used comet Elenin as a basis for their calendar and its different periods and cycles, with the full complete orbit of the comet perhaps representing a full cycle on the calendar, though I do not know the details off hand regarding how many years the mayan calendar represents in total, or how many years the comet spends on its orbit. At least it does seem as a fairly logical conclusion considering that this comet comes along right at the same moment the mayan calendar ends.

I totally believe this speaker, I have somehow always known about this. As though it's an awakened past knowledge. The coma, or the outer gaseous shell around the 'comet' has now been determined to be 1/6 th the size of the sun.

And for the record, I'm just sharing information, I don't claim to know whether or not Elenin is a comet or a planet or a dark star or whether Leonid Elenin is a front or a real person.... I'm just sharing information.

I have the same concern, and in the material it states that the tails of these comets can be excessively long, and since we are going to cross it's path, I think that is a real possibility....

Yes, a meteorite shower is indeed a possibility, but I don´t actually fall for the bugs theory.

We´ll just have to wait. We can´t deny the possibility that nothing significant may happen as well. I hope so.

That's the hope. However, Never A Straight Answer discovered that bacteria survived the entry and crash of an older space station upon investigating the recovered pieces..
