I have noticed you "slam" topics with a link, then consistently fail to follow guidelines established. Please review suggested management posting guidelines. Something is wrong when valuable topics are posted by members with thoughtful input causing these members posts to immediately get ratcheted off the front page from an influx of garbage.

If other members follow what you have been doing, unintentionally, and are offended by my recognition of these "grabber" type headlines without further details, I am sure the management will speak up and take a position.

I am not attempting to intimidate anyone. I am merely stating a fact. This post should have supplied information to the extent that it was a "spoof". There is a publication called "The Onion" everyone familiar with it enjoys the laugh and is not taken seriously.

A personal comment before or after the link would have been appropriate.

If management disagrees with me, they can change the rules. In the meantime, I would suggest we either follow their established guidelines....OR... Those who continue inappropriate postings are personally responsible for the degradation of Project Avalon to a "play-pen" in order to satisfy personal recognition, rather than contribute to the valuable purpose Project Avalon was established.

I read that sentence to claim that you stated a fact, that you only stated a fact, and that you did nothing other than state a fact.

But I read some other parts of your original post, and your response to Ulli, as making some fairly broad complaints against another member.

Then I read your closing remark "Enjoy yourself and be happy. " and sense a bit of sarcasm in it.

I could rush to my guidelines (link conveniently provided below) and likely find something relevant.

But when I see a disconnect between what one claims to be doing, and what one appears to be doing, I end up at a bit of a loss. Such a disconnect makes it difficult to discern what, if anything, would address your concerns (and consequently whether such would be a good idea.)

I am also sickened by halfway spoken, half hidden, ie... sarcasm.

Nor do I tolerate people who live life by that rule. I banish them from my group of people I either work or communicate with, as their half hidden behaviors are endemic of a large part of the root of all problems in this world.

ie an inability to be clear or even handed.

Point being a large part of the problems in this forum have come from such behaviors.

Sarcasm is the lie of acting, pretending to be good..while still stabbing.

Sarcasm can take a complete and total walk, thank you very much.

On close reading of Rules B.6.1-.3, by the legalistic section of my brain, I find no such violations in this thread.

However I did notice possible violations of Rules C.1.1 and C.1.4. -- by yourself.

Lets show each other some respect, and if you have a specific concern with a specific post, it is often better to discuss it privately with the poster, or to Report it. Try to stay focused in such complaints; leave out the innuendo, sarcasm, broadsides, ...

Klight has quite a following for her sensational information. Many find it useful. She means well and is contributing what she feels is valid. Not all of us agree. Many people don't like the updates I post in the Spirituality Forum on Avalon ~ they are there for those who find resonance. If you don't like them ~ it's fine ~ hang out somewhere else.

Like Foggy, I do not like to see so many negative posts on Avalon but it's a choice. If people keep saying, "Thanks," it's a sign that many are following and it is a personal choice whether we read them or not. Too many are addicted to this part of life and again, it's a choice. Those who tire of it will go elsewhere and it's the way of life open to each of us.

No harm, no foul. Avalon offers a lot of different things for different appetites. Foggy has a valid point here but not many others complain, so the "thanks" seem to have it. Everyone is over 21 years old. ; )

We can influence others but not change them. And so it is...

Please do not be so quick to judge others who dare to voice their opinion. It is not necessary for us to all agree and indeed, that's not even possible. If ever there was an unreal expectation, this is it! We must be civil and kind as a community just because it's the right thing to do voluntarily. A PM might have worked better in this instance or not. Who can say?

Never mind the rules, there are higher ones in play here right now. The way Foggy was attacked for expressing an opinion was surprising to me and a little thought provoking. He or she also means well and has a point to contribute. Maybe we need to take a three second pause before responding to things we find annoying ~ it'd be a nice change on Avalon. Just a tiny bit of inner reflection.

Those of us who are tired of negativity are not in real conflict with those who bask in it. We just differ in opinion. These are choices we make within every moment of our lives and either high or low vibrations are attracted to us. And we often are attracted to headlines that suit our "state of being" at any moment in time or out of it. Let each one choose. If you are continually attracted to the dark side, you may want to reassess your tastes in reading material. The dark can't leave unless we allow it. Negatives and fear ~ fuel the dark side and keep it alive and well. If only we could realize this fully.

BTW, I heard that London is burning but it may be just a rumor. I don't live there and so don't know whether it's true or not. The Queen is probably more concerned with Buckingham Palace burning down right now than she is with David Icke in an interview ~ a year or so ago.

These are the sort of events we bring upon ourselves dwelling in either negatives or positive aspects of our lives. What we put out there is returned ten or a hundred fold. If that doesn't give one pause for reflection, nothing ever will. I hope the Queen is listening in right now. MI6 and all. Anyone else smell smoke? Much love! xoxoxox

1. My comments were not a complaint; they were an observation. An observation of an inordinate number of posted links without summary text has been on the increase. I have no complaint against the original poster of this thread. I merely made a request because....

2. The subsequent post would not be necessary.

This type of information is available at other sites. Posting it on Project Avalon diminishes the quality of this community.

Again, this was my observation:

4. There were 4 members of this board that made posts revealing information who the real enemy is with ample data/links.
It was not theory or conspiracy. It was substantiated facts with a lot of reading. There were no comments to the posts due to the aforementioned with the exception of one post. I recall DNA was one of the posters. These 4 posters connected the dots and I believe they are not aware how valuable their individual information was unless they read the other member's material.

5. Because many of us are programed to seek what is new, (cell phones, computers, cars, travel, news, etc.) the latest excitement; we fail to connect with history. This results in confusion promoting the inability to recognize patterns. The controllers know this, therefore, the barrage of garbage and useless information does not stop.

6. I am of the opinion from observation as a "lurker" then member, the quantity of information is intentionally dispersed to drown out the quality.

7. Case in point...there is a recent post concerning a members experience exposed to the same technology that resulted in the female Astronaut to drive non-stop Texas to Florida wearing a diaper. I am sure this member has not made the connection to the Astronaut's delimina (especially what she went through previously to her trip) with the ongoing confusion he reported and detailed his experience in the last several months.

8. In the final analysis, it is your Board. I recognize there are members with short attention spans who thrive on gossip and fuzz, therefore, do as you choose.

9. Perhaps Bill's absence had an effect on the quality of the Board as some have implied? Only he would know from his personal evaluation of all the threads and posted comments in his absence.
