Ok, here goes the next one, the third dream soon after the witch on the poster dream:

so, I am coming into a dark place, low ceiling so I must stoop down to walk. The floor and ceiling are made of very dark earth. There are small groups of people sittingon the dirt floor, and everyone is naked, and I realize this includes myself. There is one particular person who is sitting away from any of the groups, a young woman, very slender, with long-ish dark hair. She is sitting with her knees pulled up to her chest with her arms wrapped around her legs. I come up behind her and I put my arms sort of across her shoulders and I rest my head on her right shoulder. I close my eyes.

when I open my eyes I am in a room filled with brilliant golden light. I am sitting in the same position, but my head is resting on her right leg, as she is sitting in this contraption, the chair and the consoles are coming up outof the floor, there are two weird touch screens, one vertical, one horizontal, it looks like something from star trek the next generation. The keys are all gold, amber, and red. I look up into her face and we make eye contact. She studies me for a moment, then she proceeds to start manipulating the screens, her fingers were a total blur as her hands started flying all over the place across these screens. (we are fully clothed in this part of the dream, btw. Her butt was so skinny that I couldn't even see it when I came up behind her before. This becomes meaningful at the end of the dream cycle.) (oh, she is wearing a loose, white blouse and dark blue pants. I never notice what I'm wearing in this part.) ok, so I get up and there is a couch nearby, so I sit. A little while later, my employer is standing there, a stern older woman, in her early 70s. I gesture for her to sit beside me, and she does. I place a comforting hand on her shoulder.

the very end I understood immediately. We were moving the business at the time and my employer was seriously stressed the **** out. (i just went ahead and starred it myself. Ha!) anyway, I think I helped her out at a crucial time.

I am bumping this thread, for multiple reasons, to finish where my own posts are leading in the thread, also to draw the attention of any recent new members who want to post crazy dream stuff. But mostly to say WHERE'S FREDs?! Okay, that's a little overly dramatic, it's a weird day already.

Before the next dream, my friend, who was with me and the two black girls, had gone to colorado, I think, and while there had visited the Stanley Hotel, where the movie the Shining took place, and he had told me about it the day before. In the dream I come into this place filled with long halls filled with golden light and huge rooms off of them. I come into the central point of the hallways, and there is a bar setup, and an old, tall, slender black gentleman in a old timey tuxedo outfit in there. I speak with him at length about a "job" in the "stanley hotel" and the conversation goes well, but I can only remember the gist of it. I proceed to go to "work" which involves a lot of activity I can't remember clearly. At the end of the dream, I am coming back into the place, through a side hallway, I am following in behind the same slender, darkhaired woman from the dream before. She is wearing tight blue jeans and a short blue jean jacket and a white shirt underneath. I take mental note of the smallness of her behind. (reporting for accuracy, sorry) We come down the hall aways and come up to a bench that sort of comes out of the wall and the floor, and we sit next to each other. She looks rather intently into my eyes for a while, and I get the best look at her yet. Then she says, "You still yet have a confusing brain."

just for that, fred, you get a twofer, today!

to fill in the context of the dream cycle a little bit, around this time my good buddy playdo was helping research for potential interpretations for the purple symbol with the crescent and stars, he happened upon the sky disk of nebra, which led to the interpretation of it being a calendar. Sure enough, when I had the dream when the moon was just a few days off the new moon at the time, so I figured from the night of the dream what would be exactly seven lunar cycles from then, which rendered a date of november 27, which was thanksgiving that year. This becomes very important (ha!) later on!

    the next dream:

the same woman again, still in blue jeans and jacket, and myself are going into a "church" that's in a storefront. Low carpeted stage with a makeshift altar that's really one of the wooden benches with carpet over it. She and I get in first and sit on the floor in front of the altar and the room completely fills up behind us, a few hundred people in too small of a space. Then these black robed "nuns" are on the stage, and they fan out through the crowd handing out the "host" of communion. We are served first, and we both spit out the wafers we were given. I see more people eating the wafers, so I pick mine up and try to eat again, only to involuntarily spit it out again, and I repeat this a third time. Then I get up and find a spot on a bench and I overhear people talking about how we are "waiting on the muse". After a while, I feel an unseen presence enter the room, and I clap my hands in front of me to make the "praying hands" mudra, then whatever it is that's coming starts this keening, buzzing sound and the dream ends.

the next dream, I am in this impossible escher-esque room with all these drawere in it, and some of the drawers contain pornography, suddenly the dark haired woman is thers, only now she is wearing a yellow dress. She tells me I need to do something about the contents of those drawers, as in get rid of that crap.

so, there are at least ten or twelve more dreams with the slender dark haired woman now wearing a yellow dress. As november approaches the dreams become more and more mundane in their detail. My internet access was random through that time, but on thanksgiving day I was at a friends and I checked my email to see a friend request on myspace had been accepted, so I went ot the page to see her photograph, the woman from all the dreams, right there on the screen! Long story short, we met, became friends, became better friends, started smooching on each other and are now happily married for the last two years! And she had bought the yellow dress from a thrift store around the time she started wearing it in the dreams! She has it and wears it all the time, and I must say, when she's wearing it sometimes the sight of it still makes my heart take a little leap. So there is the punchline, I hope y'all enjoyed hearing it as much as I enjoyed telling about it! Oh, and november 27th turned out to be her actual BIRTHDAY! Talk about an important day.

PurpleLama, outstanding brother!!! A dream woman dragged right into 3-d reality, wow!!! I was really beginning to wonder where all that was leading, right down to the November birthday. So you're now happily married to the dark haired woman in the yellow dress, talk about a story book ending. Or would that be a beginning? That can get confusing...I've had some wild dream experiences, but as of yet haven't dragged a member of those other dimensions back to this one. But then again, maybe they're all just starting to merge back into one. Hmmmm.

Oh, by the way, don't get caught with any more porno material in that drawer again. LOL.

    Cheers,
    Fred

I would say it's more like the start of a science fiction series than a story book ending. She might say different. Ha!

Great thread idea Fred S.! Thanks!

Well, to pick up where PurpleLama left off, I must say that at least once a week one of us has a a dream that we discuss together, and I got to tell you, PurpleLama has the gift of Daniel when it comes to dream interpretation. Some very interesting dreams have surfaced lately and in the past five years. I have a beautiful dream and a scary dream to share. The scary dream was very influential, which turned out to be a good dream, because it taught me a lot, and at the same time, I wouldn't have gotten anything out of it if it weren't for PurpleLama's interpretation.

So, I had been pouring through many books from Aleister Crowley. I don't recommend them to anyone, although I must say I gained a lot of knowledge about mediation and discipline, and also about the service to self side of magick, and now I have a keen sense and I can spot black magick a mile away, confront it and dispense of it (gotta love reiki!!!). Anyhow, after reading Book 4 and Book of Lies, I had this dream:

I awoke one morning in my house to a terrible, frightening sight: the house is bare bones empty. Bewildered, I walk outside and find all my belongings in the front yard and surrounding them are all of my friends and acquaintances from the city I live in. I immediately begin questioning and screaming my head off, and everyone stands there in silence just watching me with cheshire grins. My wife runs out from the crowd to me totally naked and bleeding. When she gets near I can tell that her nipples have been shaved off with a razor. She is screaming, terrified, and bewildered and out of her mind! I immediately go into a rage and begin violently attacking all the people, but no one fights back. I hit them and they fall down and then get back up, each person with a cheshire grin. Finally, towards the end, the leader of the group, who is a friend and acquaintance in real life steps forward and announces: "It's all over. We have taken everything. You have nothing left. It's all over....." I begin violently cracking skulls at that point and, then realizing the uselessness of it, I pick up my wife and comfort her and lead her back into the house while all the people stand there and watch. That's when the dream ended.

Upon reflection and discussion afterwards, PurpleLama helped me to realize that I had been receiving much negative greeting from delving too far into the Crowley material. I do believe that, in essence, the dream was a warning from my higher self to put the Crowley down, and seek out positive material to study. But, I wasn't able to see the positive aspect of the dream until we had a chance to discuss, because it was just so traumatizing. Suffice it to say, I removed all of the Crowley from my house.

Wow Playdo....THAT is a seriously f****d up dream....Gives me the willies just thinking about it, especially being a married man. Glad PurpleLama was there to help you through that one....I'm gonna chew on that one a bit, but I will say that one thing I've begun to realize recently (the hard way of course) is to not be afraid of my dark side. It may sound bad, but lately I'm seeing it more and more as an old, old friend. Maybe Crowley did you a backhanded favor with that rough introduction. Or should I say RE-introduction. The Yin/Yan symbol says it all.

What I get from this dream is that your soul has had it's food supply injured...hence the cut off nipples, the symbol of nurturing.
It's best to stay away from spiritual junk food like creepy Crowley.

The problem at the time was that Playdo was delving into the Crowley material with his usual enthusiasm for research but was neglicting to apply his discernment at the same time. The reason for this was because I had handed him the material with no warning or disclaimer, and it proved to be a valuable lesson for us both. Crowley can't be beat when it comes to studying ritual magic, but one must be very careful because some of what he had going on was very much left handed. I would encourage anyone interested in the occult to research crowley, but that would go along with the admonition to apply discernment to every bit of it. Knowing Playdo, it honestly didn't cross my mind that he would have a problem, he's that much of a righteous dude. But anyone can be taken if they let their guard down, or don't realize that they need to put their guard up.

Thank you Fred, and that is a very true statement. The dark side is enmeshed within the light side, and you cannot overlook or disregard it; it must be faced head on. They are one.

Thank you! I was not able to concentrate fully when I wrote that dream in the previous post, and I should've waited until I wasn't preoccupied, but I was so excited about this thread that I had to do it anyway. Plus, this dream occurred in 2006, so it has been a while...

So, this actually may bring some continuity between PurpleLama's dream and mine (I am hoping that this thread will accomplish some sort of continuity in the dream world between unrelated people in different parts of the world; surely we are connected in time/space......) At the end of my dream, I failed to recall that there was a catalyst that urged me to give up my useless violence against these intruders. The only person whom I did not recognize in the crowd was a short, rather elderly, but ageless black woman with hazel eyes (more on that later). She approached me with understanding, love, and yet a forceful consideration. She advised me that what they said was true, that it was all gone, over, and that I didn't need one more minute of this nonsense. I felt instantly comfort love, and release from her. In essence, now it appears that she was an outside force that appeared in the dream to help me recover and realign myself.

The funny thing, if I remember correctly PurpleLama, is her eyes. In my dream the black lady with hazel eyes was elderly. In your dream, there were two black ladies, and though you did not mention in your account above, I remember you saying that they had the same hazel eyes. As if these entities were the same. I had forgotten about that, thanks for the reminder.

That's quite intuitive. I was absorbing myself at that time in a source that was other than what I needed. The symbology of that makes perfect sense now that you point that out. Thanks!

It wasn't the "two black girls" that had the hazel eyes, that goes back to Jan. 2001 before we met, when I first has a visit from the sisters. Remember, the dream where I was in the "night club", everything was some shade of blue, and the place was empty except for the two female beings, with the strange, bulky garments composed of the weird feather/scale/flap thingies that were black with silver trim and each had a different symbol on it. They had these weird hair braid vortices on top of their heads, with wild hair pouring out underneath. They had huge eyes and pointy little noses and chins. One had fair skin with vivid blue eyes and very light blonde hair and the other was darker skinned, like a mixture of races and she had these intense hazel eyes. They had these long, spindly hands and fingers. Remember our other friend who was with me and the black girls had had a dream with the two together, prior to your dream and prior to our meeting, who had encountered them independently, and they exactly matched the description to the one in your dream. Doc also had a dream around the same time as yours encountering a being inside his house also having the same description. There have been several more individuals, friends of mine, who have also had some interaction with these beings. They are definitely connected to us in a weird way. I don't want to elaborate a lot more right now. To the one who correlated themselves to the pink one, I think you were exactly right, I think there is a huge synchronicity there.

you are exactly right, and this point is accentuated by the fact that his wife was breast feeding at the time. The focus of his studies being not being of the highest light had allowed all the thought form riff raff that were invading his mental space to very much cut him off from his true power of positive polarity. We soon after, within the year, I think, encountered the law of one. Edgar Cayce's material had also played heavily into our research prior to that, and the law of one confirmed nicely many of the conclusions we had previously drawn. So, most of our spiritual diet has been full of good stuff, without too much of the junk food.

Hi Playdo, funny you mention an old black woman. I've had the same situation, but it was an old black man. I had this dream several years ago, but the signifficance of it always stuck with me. I still don't know if it was a dream of just one lifetime or a metaphor of many, I lean towards it being metaphorical of many, but anyway. It was set maybe early 1900's because of clothing, and started with me and a few close friends being young hobos, hopping from train to train, and having many dangerous but exciting experiences. We stuck together through thick and thin our whole lives, and eventually came to the final episode.

We found ourselves old, tired, and with just one more challenge in life, a crossing over, of sorts. After having been lost in some thick woods for some time, we emerged into a vast clearing on a beautiful sunny day. There was an old fashioned carnival in the center of the clearing, Mardi Gras style, with joyous music, smells of delicious foods, rides, people laughing etc..It was too good to be true, and our final destination in life was to simply go join in. Only one problem...

There was a mote around the carnival, and the only way to get in was to cross a bridge, and pay a toll. Well guess what, we didn't have a penny between us. S**T!!! Were were despondent...All our lives purposes were to culminate in joining in this wonderful carnival, and we had just discovered that for a bunch of penniless old hobos, destiny came with a price tag.

Right at that desperate moment the old black man appeared. We didn't know who he was, but he seemed very familiar, very wise, and very kind. He had seen our dilemma, and stepped in to help. He took one look at the toll booth, shook his head, and said "hey, don't worry about that, just swim across". WOW!!! The solution was so stunningly simple!!! SCREW the toll booth!!! We can swim god damnit!!!

So we did, we swam right across, and just as we reached the opposite bank, we were all suddenly sitting around a picnic table, old black man included. The music was loud and joyous, the atmosphere was sheer bliss, and we were stuffing our faces with the most delicious steamed crawdaddy's. It was then I looked at the old black man again, he was already looking at me, and as our eyes made contact he was reading my mind, and started nodding with this big s**t eating grin on his face as if to say "see now, wasn't that easy?" That moment flooded me with such intense emotion that even though it was by FAR the happiest moment of my life, I started crying like a little baby...He just kept nodding and smiling...

    I'll never forget him.

    Cheers,
    Fred

It would be easy to say here that the old black man is your spirit guide, and you got to meet him in person, in this dream.
And at one level that may well be true.
But more revealing could be if you used the Gestalt approach...reliving each part of the dream as if it were an aspect of yourself.
    I AM a hobo!
    I AM a bridge
I AM a carnival for others to have fun in
I AM a moat for others to swim across
    But also
I AM a toll booth to charge a price
I AM that wise old black man....

After all, who but your mind created those images?

synchronicity compounded with synchronicity. Wow. Wow. Wow. I shall expand in the editing, fred.

ok, just for starters. See the old black man I was seeing for the "job" in the "stanley hotel." what I didn't say was that this old black man has been a familiar dream figure. He has worn robes and tuxedos, but has mostly favored the dusty old not quite worn out cover-alls. The feeling you describe gave me a jolt, like what I got when the black girls gave me the symbol. Go to my profile page. It's there. Ulli called it a "purple smiley." no joke. Wow. Woowoo. With a splash of Holy Smokes. It gets even better. Will continue to add to post.

sooo, another good friend I haven't spoken to in months, who has been working on the other side of the country, and this friend has been suffering from a mysterious illness involving intense abdominal pain. Well, *at the same time* playdo and I were discussing these figures in this very thread, this pair of figures wearing tattered raggedy garments appeared to my friend in the northwest. One taller, one shorter, like the black girls, wearing the ragged garments that we talked about. These figures initiated a sequence of events that has resolved in the amelioration of my friends illness. Without his permission, I hesitate to offer any more detail. But the pertinent detail was the two figures, and the healing result. Curiouser and curiouser.
