    Hi guys,
I will openly admit i watch t.v. quite regular,
Weather it be at my friends or at home if my family have it on, and My girlfriend who is onto this kind of stuff that we all know and love.
She still gets sucked into the media like a puppet, realty t.v. the soaps i get exposed to it all for at least a few hours a day.
Now the questions i want to ask you guys are these:

1# do you think this is affecting me
2# how do you think it is affecting me
3# should i try and stop this and how can i avoid the media influence

Thanks for your support guys, this is a matter that has been on my mind for some time.
    Kind regards
    Sean
I respect you more than you know(or at least knew) for being able to admit this in a thread where almost everyone is the opposite. Much respect for that, and asking how you may be doing something wrong.

I don't have your answers but I wanted to say that...
Thanks friend nice to see someone has not turned there back on some off us who are still learning allot about this thing.
Much love to you for being a kind soul

I like to keep one foot grounded in society by seeing what kind of programming they're trying to install into the public so I watch a few of the more popular tv shows every now and then, mainly though I prefer to download the tv shows and movies I find inspirational onto my laptop then hook it up to my big tv with a HDMI cable, best way to watch all the new releases IMO and I never have to waste time watching through any adverts. I've always been a big fan of a good story so wouldn't cut it out completely.

As I've been studying hypnosis for about 8 years I'm quite well trained in most of the many mind control techniques they use to try and program people, always makes me laugh when i catch them trying to subconsciously install something, knowing what tricks they use is the best way to guard against them and also gives a better working knowledge of how to reverse any damage that may have been caused to transform it towards more positive ends.

Omni, I remember reading a story once about how the americans used a trojan horse type trick in afganhistan, they couldn't get their troops into the afghan cave system so instead they allowed a shipment of new high def flat screen tvs to be lost in transit, the afghani troops took the shipment and set the tvs up in their little underground hideaways, then when everything was in place the americans were able to hijack the tvs in some way sending out signals that confused the afghani troops to the extent that the american soldiers could just walk into the caves and shoot everyone without meeting any resistance. I only read the article in passing at the time so can't go into any more details or find confirmation of the event, I didn't look any deeper into it yet found it interesting nonetheless.

I just got rid of cable, even though I git an HD tv a couple of months back. The cable bill was too expensive. I just picked up a media player box. That goes from my modem to my tv, and am watching Alex Collier from Awake and Aware 2009 on You Tube. I can also watch all my stored media on my external hd. I also have an x-box and ps2 that I hardly play on. I'm a big Tomb Raider fan. I don't think I'll be giving it up though.
There will come a day when we know our true history.

    I have TV and Radio,
If it where not for shows like X-files, and shows like that got me started on my treck I never would have bothered, something told me that some of the stuff in these shows have part of the truth.
    Now I watch shows like

    Ancient Aliens
    UfO files
    Warehouse 13
    Ureaka
    Alfas

I watch stuff like the above, I read stuff like the above, I write stuff like the above.

I need a new radio, so I can start listening to shows like Coast to Coast live.

If I am not reading a book then I am out and about adding to my Project: Shadowstalker show.
If i'm not doing that, then I am reading, about the stuff I post here and on youtube.
If not anything from the above list then my daughter and or son are having a convoluted conversion.

No TV, too much subtle programming going on. you can feel it just stopping watching any TV for a month or so and then when you put it on again, you will just feel.

    Everything looks stupid completely.

Rather than tell you if and how its affecting you, I'll tell you how it affected me - this is off topic so if you're only interested in how to avoid the media, I'd say leave the room when that **** is on.

    Here goes -

When I began to wake up, I had a different girlfriend back then. She loved (like most people), gossip mags, watched all the soaps like Eastenders, hollyoaks etc, and was obsessed with things like Big Brother.

I honestly think if she had began to wake up with me we might have stayed together, but she was addicted to the tv and addicted to drama.

So I wouldn't say I was affect directly from the TV since waking up (as far as I'm aware), but the more I watched the things I was into like the Camelot interviews and documentaries on UFO's etc, the lower my tolerance becamee with buying into the drama or even being around people when they were watching all that stuff. It started to make me depressed. I felt like an adult being forced to play the same childs game every day.

In the end, I believe it played a big role in why we broke up.

In my case however, I should probably point out that she was so obsessed as if it were real life, that I began to discover a pattern. Just for your 'amusement' I'll share.

    The pattern goes as follows:

If something terrible happened on TV like someone died in a soap, she'd call me up all loved up, and try to apologise for her crazy behaviour. I didn't mind that, kinda thought it was sweet. But....If someone did something like cheat on the girl, there'd be hell to pay. Once I discovered the pattern, I literally asked someone I knew to just text me if I'm in trouble or not lol.

But it got so out of hand that one day she went for the kitchen knife...And then I was single.

A sad and true story - I'm sorry to say! But I guess in a sick way I have TV to thank for getting out of an unhealthy life.

Sorry people, I know this is off topic, but wanted to share that. Look out for those patterns though eh

About 2005 i became aware of being unnaturally charged with negative feelings that seemed to permeate my whole being and most things around me. After i'd realized the actual state i were in, it didn't take me long to figure out the source of the negativity. Since that realization, i abruptly cut the tv broadcasts out of my life. Needless to say, i did myself a great service. My old CRT is for some reason still part of the furniture. Once or twice a year i use to fire it up, just to check if it still works. I get all the entertainment i need from carefully selected content on the computer.

I love true beauty. Nature is beautiful by itself. Among people it is found, where people have the intent to express beauty. That's not very much the case on the TV shows, I figure. There are some outstanding moments or movies, though.

I have not realy lookt at tv for at least 10 years, but mostly for i workt all the time, and i really hate commercial and them negative news reports.
This was before i woke up.

A few years back just prior to my awakening, i whent and got one of those big screen TVs. I use it as a screen for my computer and i see my movies there to.
I have not used it for a year though,

(i am living with my GF) she got two TVs phuuu and she cant go to sleep if the tv in the bedroom is not on She knows i hate tv, so i just kiss her good night and wait in the other room. And then i turn the tv off when she sleeps. (wierd huu)

The tv in the living room are just a nightmare, she looks at a tv serie about some tv cook competion hells kitchen Chef Ramsay.(i had to google it)
This Chef Ramsay are just spawned right from hell, Gordon Ramsay are shouting at those poor sleepers (i dont look at the tv, but i can still here it)

I tell my GF you are literally killing me!! you know that right??

But the tv are mostly off now after i moved in...

I have not watched a single show or movie on TV for more than ten years. I literally get sick when I watch it now. Within minutes, I get outraged at the blattant brain-washing. But the commercials are even worse - those I simply cannot watch without shouting comments to counter the programming. Sometimes I come running into the living room wondering what hypnotic trick they're pulling with all those flashing lights. I see it from down the hall, my girlfriend sees nothing.

I am subjected to her TV watching 24hrs a day. The TV never gets turned off. I have learned to live with it. But I keep myself protected as well because that mind-control crap coming out of that box can literally control those not even watching or even in the same room.

But it is at night, when I go to bed (with the door closed) that I realize how extensive and comprehensive and effective their mind-control programming is. Because under the words and music there is a coherent hum that sort of sounds like an over-worked computer hard drive searching its contents for data. This hum is the mind-controling carrier wave and most do not know it is there. In my bedroom, with door closed, I cannot hear any music or words - but I hear the clicking, whirring, humming of this carrier wave. I block it with love and a smirk.

Radio, I am sometimes forced to listen to when working with the guys. That is much better but the commercials bother me a lot. And the grade 7 banter from the commentators drive me crazy. All about gay-bashing, sex and sports - how boring. But I love my rock-n-roll so what are ya gonna do, eh?

Yep, I got a telly, don't watch it much... Mostly live Prem football if it's on (if it's a decent sounding match - Albion always! ) Don't watch any soaps or "reality teevee", I honestly can't understand why people watch pap like "big brother", they truly are the mind-dead zombies, no saving those poor lost souls!

Can't stand those so called reality shows they tend to like to hurt folks in the public view, and i know folks who want to be on these shows, So I ask them "do you really want to embarrassed in front of the whole country and downgraded and yelled at in from of the whole country?" There is not one so called reality show that does not do this to a person, not one.
The news it just a means to keep the depression flowing in most who watch it.

People to degree are what they watch, if you are into drama you tend to watch those reality show.
If your into learning then you tend to watch certain channels like history channel and the like.
But in the end most folks tend to watch what there spirit tells them.

I see it this way if the spirit tells them to watch those drama show then maybe the spirit is telling them that there is something wrong in there life and they need to change it.
    For some it takes time.

If the spirit tells them to watch the news, then maybe they really need to see the hidden issues, there spirits maybe trying to tell them that,
That as well needs time for them to see.

I on a subliminal level I was never effected, neither where my children, my son and daughter would rather read, write, on be on the net.
Very rarely would we watch a show that had nothing to do with our research.

I consider it all a soul contract of learning, for all involved on this planet, everyone wakes up on there timely schedule.

I have a tv mainly for the 3 kids, however it is set on a timer, and it can only be operated between 4 and 6 pm without entering the majic passcode. lol

I do on occasion watch programs that I record, usually HGTV things, or paranormal stuff. I never watch the news, or unrecorded programs., unless there is a tornado in the area, in that case we turn on the radar, if we cant get to it online. In general, I find the noise from the tv annoying.

I have one but it is just for netflix streaming on my playstation. Oh haha and playstation games from time to time. I am perfectly content without the constant bombardment of dishonest and misleading advertisements on cable television.

I generally listen to music anyway, or watch a DVD, or if I do end up watching telly it's more often than not if something quality from yesteryear is on - like "the sweeney", "minder", "fawlty towers" or something like that... The new stuff I find is generally bland.

Wow it is amazing to see how many people here have ditched the tv and radio! I'm sure it's no coincidence that there are so many aware people here...and so little tv watching going on. I have a memory of my first experience with television. I would have been very very young and I remember it felt unbelievably intensely powerful. Like a deep swirling vortex, it was at once very frightening and incredibly alluring at the same time. However, the more I watched it, the more 'normal' it became.

Tv played a big role in the end of my last relationship. My partner loved to vege in front of the box and it would drive me crazy because no matter where I went in the house I could not escape the horrible sound. Now it has been 5 yrs since I had that invasive technology in my home...luckily my current partner feels the same.

I do feel it assists with extricating ourselves from the matrix, and allows us to tune into our own vibe. It's the kind of thing that feels difficult at first ...but before you know you realize you are missing nothing, and have gained so much!

    LOVE ALLways,c
