The word resonating really turns me off--- it implies I must be right because this resonates with me.
Many millions have lost their lives because they followed a leader, a path that resonated, felt right to them.

I tend to believe that Elenin is in the process of decay but I dont claim I know.

As far as I am concerned, the Sydneystargazers crew has provided enough evidence to demonstrate that comet Elenin is on its way out in every sense of the term.

Hence whatever effect it could have had is forever gone but the "gatherers" could therefore gloat with a "See? We did it! Nothing happened inspite of all the predictions." My guess anyway.

Too right. Move on, folks -- the Elenin show is definitely over (thank goodness ).

Pretty soon we can also move on past the Calleman Mayan Calendar date (nothing will happen then, either!) and become more focused and rational on real issues.

IMO there are two such real issues for us all in the medium term future:

1. Global financial destabilization, and its potential political consequences -- probably in the next 12 months or sooner.
2. Serious solar activity that may threaten the power grid and global telecoms -- probably in 2013, but maybe not exactly predictable by anyone.

IMO there are two such real issues for us all in the medium term future:

I would not put my hat on anything at the moment.
I will keep my head and accept that anything is possible.
Like Nearing says a pattern has emerged and is emerging.
Its true that something is always going on in the world and it is all to easy to join dots and come up with an explanation or theory that fits the increase in earth quakes and volcanic activity but I would not draw any conclusion as yet.

This article is swinging in the other direction ie Suggesting Elenin has survived against all odds.
I stick with I dont know.

The main difference is that Hoagland believes elenin to be a transmitter of hyper dimensional physics from the Atlantean civilization, and Horak believes this was our "Hello" and that elenin will do a 90degree turn and leave the solar system. So both believe it to be comet controlled by E.T.'s but I don't know if i'm ready to accept either line of thinking that its a transmitter or that it will just turn around and leave the way it came. No one suggested elenin was a neutron star. Keith Hunter upthread (a page or 2) has a theory about a neutron star being the companion to our sun in a binary system. And it is well researched. Greybeard posted a video and I posted an email response.

Thing is, in 5 light years radius, there is a triple star system, called Alpha Centauri, with well known ordinary main sequence stars. The farthest this Neutron star could be placed is 1.5 light years away from our (main) sun. That implies the radiation waves would be even more devastating.

This person obviously circumvents important astronomical facts.

OK, he is an easy person to contact and he responds quickly. Perhaps you could write him like I did and get some answers and report back to us. He does seem to have a firm grip on these matters, coming from me, a non-astronomer.

My apologizes then, but still even if a neutron star was on the other side of the Oort cloud it would still be too close, and draw all the comets with its massive pull.
