All right, about the delays:

It took ~ 45 mn for this one to show up on the seismogram after the ending hour (2.3 magnitude):
Edit: upgraded to 3.2

The above 3.2 magnitude EQ (green) is shown in black in the diagram below at 23:52

Seismogram for the day:

Edit 2: the 3.4 is the green one at 21:24 in above graph, the 3.2 is the black one at 23:52

Then, it took ~ 1 1/2 hour to show up on the IGN listing at: http://www.02.ign.es/ign/layoutIn/si...ntidad_dias=10

Hasn't been showing on RSOE EDIS yet if it even shows up...

Edit 3: the 3.2 (black in above graph at 23:52) shown on RSOE EDIS as 3.1... 3 hours later...

RSOE EDIS cuts out any EQs that are below 3.0...

The 2.3 mag "tremor" hasn't been added to the cumulative graph yet... they may have to change their scale now. Oooops just got added ~ 1:50 am

PS: The delays are mostly due to computation/verification time it takes to get the final numerical values.

The 2.3 changed to 2.8 around 2:15 am (that's the top blue one on above graph)

Just before I sleep..

At 17.09 this afternoon, AL17 sprung up in the Atlantic from Cape Verde.

It is currently Active and is at N 11° 0.000, W 26° 42.000...the forecast up until 29 september is that it will turn right and the current forecast position for that day is N 20° 0.000, W 39° 30.000.,,,
Hopefully it will blow itself out before then..before It heads our way..

Just saying....one to watch.,.

You will have more local things to watch ...

I keep an eye on those things since they tend to come into the Caribbean once in a while.

They just spent it before going bankrupt. Easy to do: you send some into Carrabieans islands for your retirements, the rest you spend by giving contracts to your friends. But the official version is probably related to blatant mismanagement.

Exactly, but the affect on the industry???? It's a direct hit. And the effect on the economy? Priceless. We all know solar alone is an expensive and inefficient alternative; however, at least it is an alternative. And when connected to a hybrid system, especially with solar passive building (passive building being the biggest and absolute best thing you can do to take yourself off the grid), it makes for a tidy package.

The hybrid wind/hydro system randles mentioned is an absolute thing of beauty to anyone who thinks in terms of being sustainable on a larger scale, or thinks outside the box, fault-line, or no fault-line. However, as tasty as it is to store potential energy in a defunct volcano, the fact that it's being built on a triple faultline, sort of kills any long term sustainability from the start, doesn't it. Who's bright idea was this? Don't know yet.

And then there's this: ABB wins 1.7 million Euro order for Gorona del Viento renewable energy project in the Canary Islands.

That said, if the PTB really are mucking with El Hierro, I doubt it will sink ABB but it won't bode well for the economy; it will soak the emergent sustainable industry, and further serve to dampen the human spirit. But then, that was already done in the initial planning stages, wasn't it? I simply cannot believe it was a case of stupidity. Building sustainably means all parties concerned work as a team. Am I to understand the best and the brightest in the industry all got together and drank a case of dumb?

All I can say is, whom ever "they" are, they must have a death wish for everyone else but themselves.

Canary Islands....

Goodmorning all.. For weeks I have been posting about the Earthquakes here, and my thread gets lost in amongst other chatter about what may happen in years to come...

ITS OFFICIAL...El Hierro is now 'good to go'.

I live on the next Island, and ONLY YESTERDAY did the MEDIA SEE FIT to inform the Islands and ask for people to remain calm.
Today the island is banging away every 2 - 3 minutes at 2.6.
Last night myself and my daughter rehearsed our meeting point. It is a 14 minute walk to the nearest solid open ground. There are just a few roadside public water points along the way, the is the safest route to avoid volcanic cones which adorn our islands here and keeps us away from primitive overhead electricity cables slung from house to house.
After the practice run last night with our bug out bags, we went to the bakery for coffee...it would seem that the whole village was there crowded around the television a the MSM was informing of 7000 plus earthquakes to a very 'gobsmacked' population. Some were crying., Others were just in shock,

Like I have said in my previous posts.....its the chip chip chip.....
I hope that I have more time to update you guys.

2. Cumbre Viaje Volcano will collapse.= Tsunami

Sorry to hear this. I thought long and hard about what I could offer in terms of words (they are so inadequate in situations like this) so I asked myself what I would do in the same position. The best answer I could muster is to concentrate on the fact that however fearful the proposed consequences might be and whatever disaster may befall, the fact is that it hasn't happened and therefore may never happen.

I would just concentrate on that to alleviate the present fear. The probability that all this will pass without harm is still very much on the cards.

With that I wish you and your family the very best for the immediate as well as long-term future.

Obviously, I'm not a member (I don't do any group things) but I'm certainly a supporter of Avalon, Camelot and others. Since I have a large online following in the financial trading world, I also run www.TheRealSecret.co and work behind the scenes.

Anyway, the point of my email is that randles seems to be stuck on her little island and she might like to have contact with me as I also live in the Canary Islands but 270 miles east in Lanzarote and above the average tsunami height! With two spare bedrooms and a spare bathroom she might like to know that, should it be necessary, she and her children could stay with me for free. No passports necessary and a local ferry ride or two away.

So, perhaps you could forward this to her and give her the option of contacting me if she wants.

Hey randles, I must admit this is the first time I see your thread and so I became more aware of what is happening in El Hierro.. But I hope you and your daughter are well, it must be a difficult situation (to say the least), I understand the challenges with relocation as something similar is going on in my life (with my husband and my dog), except that I believe I'm the one living in a safer place now, and my husband is in the eye of the storm (long... long story with a lot of confliction, as they are), so my heart goes out to you, it takes a great deal of strength to keep a positive (for most people at least), and humorous, outlook on life.

He is saying that there are earth quakes all around and that they are implementing procedures to give the population infomation as to what to do...The second viideo explains about being vigilant, registering now.. (census) etc..
