If I left anyone out then a special big hug for you, and they are really good ones so you're the luckiest.
I've also been very tired, no matter how much I sleep. I'll wake up with a sore this or that - yesterday it was the back of my legs - take a short nap and it's gone.
Work starts tomorrow so won't have as much time for Avalon the next few days.
Gonna miss yoose all...

Well, I should already be asleep but Bill's post got me going. I'm ready now though.
Thanks Ulie. When I went to estimate the job, one of the tenants in the building was an artist. He's got paintings everywhere in his little room. When I commented that his art was good (really good) he was surprised. Later when I talked to the owner he said that guy has never even tried to sell any paintings because he thinks they're no good. Hope to help him with his misconception, maybe buy one off him - beautiful pastels of landscapes and oceans in aquas and blue and verdant greens!

Ernie, your new job has a wonderful vibe to it! So good that you can help the artist to have more confidence. A little appreciation can make a huge difference.
I hope you are able to relax and be easy with all the gloom, and even with Bill's thread which I am thankful to know, but am not following every little post on it, just letting it be. I got some good advice from a friend that enabled me to let it go. I hope you can find some peace with it so it doesn't keep you up at night. <3

So nice your son is visiting JB! My daughter is home from away as well. She is Maid of Honor in her best friend's wedding this Saturday. It has been a busy few months for weddings in our family.
My mum called this morning to say her friend is doing fine and that she sent him a fresh loaf of home made raisin bread as a Peace offering!
I hope all are feeling less tired and healing nicely.

Haha, I love this talk of seniors. I'm there with you, Ulli! Although the age varies with the place, some start younger than others.

Did everyone get over being comatose? I know I have ... am rested and full of energy ... in fact I could stay up another hour but have to get up in the morning.

Poor, poor Kitty didn't like the post operative pain at all.
Now tucked in deep inside my closet and boarded up
so the other cat can't get in there and disturb her.
I wish my healing powers were more like ETs.

Today I applied pressure point therapy to my knee which helped a lot.

Its 11:00pm feeling really tired, thinking to myself that i should go to bed, hearing my dogs claws ticking the wooden floor as he walks to the toilet to slurp some water, thinking about tommorow, what to do?, how to do it? what will happen? then realizing that it doesnt matter because everything happens for a reason. Then im wondering how Ulli's cat is going or what is Ullie doing now. Then physical reality hits me and tells me that i have to wake up at 5 tommorow so i should probably stop talking about everything and nothing.

12:26 AM, the 29th and so far California has not slid into the ocean, nor has the ocean slid into me. I've taken a hot bath, Now I'm on the bed, drinking a hot chocolate with peppermint schnapps ... the door is open to the garden, it is still warm, the fan is on in the bedroom. I have two candles lit, the lamps are dimmed down thanks to my nerd husband and his X10s. I wish McKnao was here. A gust of warm wind brushes my side.

3:30 AM and a gentle rain is falling on my tent on a temperate night. A little oil filled electric heater keeps me toasty without any noise. To be able to communicate with the rest of the world while being where I am, as pictured in my avatar, still tickles me.
