Saw Modwiz's tent and thought it was a villa compared to mine! That looks so chilled out, not fair, there's a whole 9hrs of the here-and-now in front of me, dammit. Think I'll leave a carboard cut-out of me at the desk, no-one will notice.... arf.

Thoughts and waves of niceness over to Ulli's knee....

I live in my tent, this year, for 6 months and a week. So, I spend slightly more of my year here than in my farmhouse in the mountains. Needless to say I live in some style and comfort. It is almost like one of those tents in the Harry Potter movies where you see a tent on the outside but the inside is very cozy and much roomier than it looks. My little 'porch' area helps a lot. No rain ever comes into my tent when I unzip the front door.

10.15 a.m just got back from my little ones school harvest festival. He just loves singing and sings it LOUD and proud. So funny. Afterwards the other mothers were coming up to me saying what a little character he is. Lovely to see all the children giving thanks for the bounty and learning about giving to the homeless.

The weather here is beautiful. The uk are having a surprise heatwave so gonna sit in the garden with my cat Yoshi and enjoy the rays and birdsong whilst focusing my own rays on California. xxx

Just reminded myself of a prayer known as the Gayatri which embodies the rune Sowelu.....you address the sun in this way. You,who are the source of all power, whose rays illuminate the whole world, illuminate also my heart, so that it too may do your work.

While reciting you visiualize the sun's rays, streaming forth into the world, entering your own heart, and then streaming out from your heart center. Its a powerful and life enhancing prayer. Have a great day/eve everyone x

I was just commenting to Ulli, what a delightful 'slice of life' thread this is. 'Twitter on steroids' someone said
I guess dreams are often weird and I wanted to mention mine from last night. I don't remember the story as such but the striking thing was the impression it left on me. I just remember very... 'tangible, touchable' white whales that were not restricted to the water element, they were in huge trees sort of swimming still, and they could also use earth like it was water and some were raising there heads up out of the earth as they do in the ocean. Me and dolphins and whales.. we got a thing..... goin' on I love those critters and feel a deep affinity with them. So obviously I savour such connection in dreams or shamanic journeys as this.
Have a good day... or sleep well, depending where you are in this wondrous world.

It's daylight, barely ... getting ready to go to work. It will be warm today, hope it's a repeat of yesterday. I ran an errand at lunchtime yesterday, and it was SOOO beautiful.. blue sky and high puffy clouds, not humid, in the 80's. It doesn't get any better than that! The here and now is .... go!

    Good morning everybody!
Markoid you must have read my mind. I had the best dream I've had in forty years last night.

My flying dreams! Not going to get into it except for two things. The first was I was dancing a waltz with my favorite aunt (father's sister). I haven't seen her in many years (20?). So it started out with my usual stumbling way and I was embarrassed and I saw she was disappointed because she really wanted to dance, you know? So I determined to show her a good time and I willed myself to do better. And we began to dance like Ginger and Fred! We virtually glided around this giant empty house. I remember looking down at her and she had this smile and her eyes were closed and I was so happy and I spun us round and round! Then I whispered in her ear while still twirling us how much I loved her and had missed her and she whispered something in my ear too.

Then the scene changed, just like that. Before I started flying I was chasing this girl, she looks like Ally Sheehy (oh, I can't spell it, never mind - some actress). I remembered thinking I've chased her before. Anyways, she way outran me and I'm a fast runner from back in the day. So she finally let me catch her and when I asked her how was it possible she could run so fast, she said: "What makes you think I was running?", and smiled. Then a flood of forgotten memmories rushed into me and I recalled my dreams of flying when I was a kid. And I remembered how! And I just lifted up and started flying!

There is a lot more but this is supposed to be tweets on steroids...

When I woke up I said thank you about ten times I was so happy. My dreams are usually depressing...
Oh, yeah, before I went to sleep the second time around 3:30 a.m. I remember invoking St, Micheal to ward off the demons around me.
I fell asleep calling his name over and over.
Sorry Markoid, your dream was beautiful, too. Dolphins and whales flying? Co-incidence. Nope.
Have a fantastic day everyone! I'm late but since I work for myself, no worries.

Reading this thread is so calming. I needed calm.
When I woke up just after 5 am I had quite a shock....the apocalypse cooler which hubby had placed in front of the cat door last night and which got its name bacause in it we store rice, sugar, flour and which makes it so heavy I can't even lift it by myself had been moved overnight by the older cat Choochoo Bear who still insists on using the neighbors garden as her bathroom rather than the cat litter we had provided indoors for poor sick Kittie's sake.
So then there was no sign of Kitty.
A panicky and frantic search ended when Kitty was discovered in a new dark hidiehole under the spare bed in hubby's office. Ulli collapsed back into bed for her morning coffee and meditation, now hearing the TV next door playing the Costa Rica National Antheum all is back to normal. Kitty is recovering and ulli's Elenin has passed thank ForceSource.

Great dreams guys, and what a nice tent Modwiz has. And I'm going to ask my angel to take me on a flying dream where I can raid Junebug's pantry and visit Pickle in NW England and go dancing with Ernie and get some healing session from Modwiz, have coffee with Sierra in San Francisco, hang out with Rahkyt and get to play with PurpleLama's nine cats. The next night I want to meet Astrid and spend all night yapping astro with her. While I'm down under I'm also going to fly over to NZ and say hi to Carmen and another friend who lives near Auckland but havent seen since 1983 though kept in touch all these years. Flying dreams are so much more eco friendly than AA jet planes. And not to forget Rocky who vanished from the forum and who is busy on a San Diego beach holding California steady. And LisaB who is going to take me over to Dave Edmund's recording studio for a memory lane walk. Quite a travel schedule. Can I bring Kitty?

kitty is welcome, and ulli too, at my house, any time!

this morning the sunrise combined with the fog to set the world awash in golden light. The beauty of it was awe inspiring.

glad to see more folks jumping in to the here and now. Thousands of years from now we will look back to this particular thread on this particular forum and say that is where the complex of social memory was first conceived.

Flying white whales speak to me of the return of memory of the stars where we were born.

Dancing poorly then dancing masterfully speaks to the mastery you possess unawares. Find it!

Speaking of Ally makes me think "Johnny Five is ALIVE!" but I think she is the part of yourself you are meant to find, this remarkable thing you haven't guessed.

thankful for the safety of all kitties, mine and ulli's and otherwise.

I think there was a thread already about names making people, so why not cats, too?
Given the right name they can become trains or bears.
Which reminds me, Kitty is no kittie any more. I think I should name her Spinsty now.

Very true, Ulli, and brings to mind the can of worms I opened up naming my latest "Ishtar", a name which proved to be too close for comfort. She didn't just get the name, she adopted the entire persona, as only a little, fluffy, black and white ball of badness could do.

It's all about what we project, isn't it?
Lucky people who project from a state of permanent happiness.

I just heard that CurtisW needs to be included in our little healing circle.
    Also Flasky's mum.
If all the regulars here can make a mental note to send healing,
and let their friends know as well
this could generate quite a bit of power.

I spent the peak of this last 'supermoon' on an operating table, which was kinda fun, as new experiences go. (new as an adult, that is) This dark of the moon, which took place on Sept 27th, at 11:09 gmt, was a 'supermoon' where the moon was at it's closest approach to earth. Yet, we did not see it... as it was the dark of the moon, not the 'full' moon.

A minor hernia operation at the same time I was involved in having to get a major job done. Believe it or not, it involved moving bricks about, to some degree. So I spent the time before the hernia operation, to the last few hours before....moving bricks. I've been gone for a few days as I've been dealing with that. I got off the operating table and then woke up few hours later and was back at it, in less than 6 hours. Minus the brick moving part. 'Ain't got time to bleed', as Jesse Ventura once said in a film.

Wow, Carmody, I don't know how you do it.
But work is the best medicine for a workaholic
so I guess it comes natural to you.
Let's hope your recovery continues without a hitch.

    Words to live by.

Glad you are up and about, Carmody. Do you need healing energy too?

I'm getting ready to go on a fun little shopping trip during my lunch hour. Looking for knitting yarn with my knitting pal.

I insist you bring Kitty (aka Spinsty)! I might even kidnap Kitty ... (just cause I need her to hold California steady ...) (You believe me, right?) (Aw rats, Ulli doesn't believe me ...)

It is 10:05 am here, I don't have my hearing aids on, but I can hear traffic. Only the Juncos and Common House Finches have shown up. Still waiting for the Titmousies, Nuthatches and Chickadees to come for the walnuts and sunflower seeds. The sunlight is hitting the wisteria and redwood tree now, who have decided to entangle themselves in each other. I drink my coffee and wait for more birdies.

For all the aches and pains out there, I give my intent to heal Carmody, enough with the bricks for a day or so!

Modwiz, your tent is gorgeous. And with Return of the King? Too cool!

Whales and dolphins surfing the land and sea and air, oh how multidimensional is that!
