I have made some amazing spatial associations involving what Mr. Hancock is speaking about with regard to the Ark of the Covenant. Axum and Lalibela Ethiopia has a very unique spatial relationship with the Dome of the Rock, The Vatican, and Chartres Cathedral which has depictions in statuary of the Ark being brought to Ethiopia! Please watch this if you can.

Thanks for this - I look forward to enjoying this tomorrow when I have more free time. IMHO Graham Hancock is one of the best researchers and speakers around. He is highly intelligent, erudite and articulate. If you are ever in the vicinity of one of his lectures - go! He is very good at being put on the spot and handling questions.

Graham Hancock's "Quest For The Lost Civilization" (1998)

    Heaven's Mirror (50 min.) http://bit.ly/qhxSf8
    Forgotten Knowledge (50 min.) http://bit.ly/pINwn8
    Ancient Mariners (50 min.) http://bit.ly/nmIcxz

In this set of three videotapes, writer Graham Hancock traverses the world and explains his controversial theory that an ancient civilization, highly intelligent people who sailed the planet as early as 10,500 B.C., spread advanced astronomical knowledge and built ancient observatories.
Skeptics may scoff, but Hancock earnestly points out similarities in giant stone structures in the Egyptian desert and Cambodian jungles, and on Easter Island and in Micronesia, he points out what he considers evidence of an ancient society of seafarers. His ideas may seem utterly bizarre at first, but Hancock presents them in an understated and good-natured manner, and he also makes clever use of computer graphics and aerial photography to illustrate the startling similarities in ancient structures found from the North Atlantic to the South Pacific.

Hancock raises some puzzling questions, and even if you don't buy his arguments, bolstered though they are by mathematical equations and astronomical diagrams, the Quest for the Lost Civilization is an entertaining mixture of archaeology, astronomy, and speculation.

    xion,

Thanks so much for this. I was at the Awake & Aware conference and by the time Graham was presenting, Sunday, end of the day, it had been a lot of info, not much sleep for me and pushing myself to stay awake. I've not read any of his books but have seen him interviewed by both David Wilcock and Kerry Cassidy.

It's taken all day for me to finally watch/listen to this...found the full two hours video by following the link you provided and looking for it. And now as I come back to your post I see even more stuff. Great!

Thanks again, xion and all the others who have provided even more to watch.

Thanks Xion Graham Hancock was someone i came across in the 1990's when he did a great series on UK TV and he opened a lot of peoples eyes. I was already hooked for as
a boy Arthur C Clarks seeries 'Mysterious World' which was also good. Questioned the conventinal view of history....

The above interview was very good, here is Graham doing a presentation on some of the subjects raised but in greater detail , covering the forgotten civilisation and refrencing ancient traditions & maps from around the world, though he is mainly concentrating onEgypt....
Excellent presentation imho and leaves the viewer with a thirst for more.

    Cheers Steve

    Brilliant new video.
    Enjoy.

Quote Prehistoric rock art, cave paintings and petroglyphs from all parts of the world show extraordinary similarities and even identical figures -- yet these ancient cultures were often separated by thousands of years of time and thousands of miles of geographical distance and were not in contact with one another. In this clip from a visit to rock art sites in Utah's canyon country, arranged as part of the October 2010 Reality Sandwich retreat at the Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch, Graham Hancock argues that shamanic altered states of consciousness, often brought on by the use of entheogenic plants, are the most likely answer to the mystery. For a more detailed explanation see Graham's last non-fiction book Supernatural: Meetings with the Ancient Teachers of Mankind. His first novel Entangled also delves into this mystery.
