After dragging around literal tonnage of my 'stuff' wedging it into apartments and you rent it storage areas, and finding room for it on bookshelves, I moved into a 5000 sq foot home.2, 500 feet of it living quarters the rest ...storage. In fact my tonnage which seemed enormous would hardly make a dent in the vast recesses of the 'downstairs.'

However after find a place to stash finally stash all my stuff, I eneded up getting rid of most of it.

Which can make the place look barren.

So people visit me, decide I don't have enough stuff and ..buy me more. So even though I got rid of most of my **** that realy only had one purpose and that was to collect dust, its trickling in again.

Thank you all for watching this episode of, "My Pimped Out Tent".
I love it. Simplification, without rent. Even more simplificationifiededudeness.

I've always been a huge fan of all that Swedish or Northern Euro Simple austere design. Lotsa windows, no furniture. Perfect.

'prolly cuz I'm the messy Virgo, not one of the 'ass squeaks when he walks' up tight clean freak ones. In my dreams, I dare.

If I ever write a will, I'm going to steal a gut-bustingly funny line from one of my old now deceased friends, John. In the paperwork it said: ....."The resultant mess can only be an embarrassment to my heirs".....
If it's only an embarrassment and not annoyance you should be ok.
I have seen some American basements where the only remedy is a bottle of gasoline and a match stick.
Lot's of Cancer in the charts, however. (Although not wanting to deal with what is behind one can affect all 12 signs.)
The sorting through old stuff and categorizing into trash, give away, sell, keep would take many months,
so burning it all might be the simplest option.
It was what convinced me that in the US there is brainwashing and mind-control at work.
In the poorer countries people are happy because they are not burdened by endless possessions.
    Minimalism helps you breathe freely.
A tent is a great idea, as it can only hold so much, so the 12x14 space restriction is a good start to learn to live minimally.

Living in countries where the temptations to consume are limited does help.
Both Barbados and Costa Rica are countries where it is easy to leave the shops empty handed.

I'm in a 2200 sq ft house by myself.

it is full of stuff. Ouch.

I started with just a birthday suit and then it slowly snowballed. I've had times where I've shed it all, pared it down to nothing. And I like that. As one can then do nothing and then...well..meditate. Meditation can bring such amazing things to one's life. Problem is that one can then try to climb through that doorway and never return as this place sucks compared to all that insane difference and fun. (there be bad stuff about, as well, so it's not all caviar and meths)

The earth is considered to be a madhouse (And it can be a funhouse, as well), but it ain't got nuthin' on the dimensional spaces we really come from. People have no idea.

All in all, though, this place can be a good indication, good training wheels - for what comes next.

    Which is entirely the point.

That's funny, Carmody, as I've had the exact same experience. I've probably pulled that card a dozen times in the last 4 or 5 years. Not from my own deck, mind you.
It kinda made me think -only shortly, thankfully- of Saturday Night Fever.

You should get that, Mod. Change that DVD. Goes with living in the woods. "Ah, Ah ,ah, ah, stayin' alive..."

As for the Rug, Lebowski, Dude, does it Hold the Room Together?

Ulli's got me beat, I'm only at 27 moves.
Changing country will bring those numbers up. When you first get to a new place things aren't always what they seem.
After a while you find better rents, better landlords, then finally, some cash arrives you buy a place,
maybe a fixer upper, and you get some Nicaraguan construction guys to teach you Spanish while they rip you off.
When you live like that, time flies.
And before you know it you are too old to build your dream home.
Still trying, though. I have Pluto square Moon. My husband has Uranus square Moon.
That should explain it to those who know what those planets represent.

Thanks so much for offering. I'm sure after a while it won't matter who does what, as long as everyone chips in somehow.
We all have so much more to offer than just one profession.

Having had nine shops as well has complicated things further.
Not buying anything anymore, except for beads.
I have too many of those, but at least they don't take up a lot of space.
I have too many lamps, also. Like Sierra, I love lamps.
I would love Astrid to fix a few of them for me. By the way, where is Astrid?
    ASTRID!!!

Here, been busy with house guests, and my "upstairs" crew have me onto a new project.
I recently had a big leap in growth , metaphysically speaking.
I'm still trying to process and unpack all the downloads.

Chandelier is coming along nicely though.
I have hit a road block as i have loads of crystals left, the frame is missing components.
It's meant to have more structure both top and bottom,
i have like over 2000 crystals left.
So next is into the shed to make what i need.

Ulli , i was out the back feeding my chickens, and i heard you calling me... lol.
    logged on and sure enough....

Don't talk about moving house, it's completely traumatic,
i'm still recovering from my move in March.
I wish i could get rid of everything, but all this "stuff" is my income.

Lighting is the only thing that still "does" it for me these days.
But i would like to start sewing again, even just for my own use.
I think i burnt so many of my passions by turning them into day jobs...
    sigh.....

It looks absolutely lovely...maybe for a stair case? I have been working with crystals myself recently. If you stop now you can ship me the left over 2000 crystals and I can sit down and make 1000 pairs of earrings with them.
Been preparing a delivery note for a shop today, hand written, and all the labels threaded by myself, standing up...my whole body is aching.
I'm glad my voice reaches your chicken shed. Good training for running the Village.

I could never forget all you wonderful people.
Sometimes i have a hard time balancing things.
And "they" have me working on the monetary system right now
realigning things. Hard to explain, but i do know that i'm waking up
totally exhausted after 12 hours sleep.

Added to that my Mother is still in hospital,
and still bleeding internally. I have her bedside number now
so i can do more intensive healing work on her.
Her body is so tired though, a life time of illnesses.
We have an estranged history as i have already said,
so its intense and tiring, but i'm grateful for all the lessons.

The chandelier was given to my Doctor's wife by an elderly lady.
It was all in pieces, i had nothing to go on.
First time i have used dowsing for 3D work, so far it's
    proving very handy.

My Docs wife sent a "so far" pic to the lady, shes now 85, and i got
back the most wonderful email, via her.
And here was me thinking this was just all "stuff".
This fitting had been hanging in their house for a very long time,
when she saw what i had done she cried.

The wiring was so bad i'm surprised she lived til 85,
it had totally shorted out inside the METAL frame.
And of course back then nothing was earthed.
It was quite a job to clean all the old wires out,
    and re-wired it.
Some fittings are a total nightmare to re-wire,
those dutch style metal chandeliers with the long metal curvy arms are near impossible.
I have loads and loads of patience, thankfully.
    But it's tricky work sometimes.

Its been so hard for me to justify to myself continuing on with this work,
the more i woke up, the more difficult it became.

But these days, i will only restore fittings, or make things from junk.
Next step is to make them self powered, off the grid.
That would certainly keep my interest, covers so many bases all at once.
Great design, functionality, and the new paradigm...

I had started a post in reply to transiten earlier, but was interrupted by a phone call. Then I came back, and finished it. It was mostly about the astrological significance of the moon, the sign of Cancer and the 4th house. Which all mean the same thing...clinging and rootedness. Anyway, when I clicked the send button I discovered that there is a time limit... my post was lost. The page had expired. I had ended it with my struggle for balance.
Then I opened Astrid's message, and her first line was about the struggle to balance things.
So transiten we are joining you now in the collecting of synchronicities.

Astrid, your mum's internal bleeding made me think. Perhaps it is for you, and about her guilt for not having been sensitive enough to know and understand you. Maybe you need to let her know that it's ok, whatever she is thinking and feeling.
Just a thought. Meanwhile I'm sending her healing. And an extra swirl of energy for you. I loved your lamp story.
And I also loved those funny lamps Ruby posted today. That crazy dog, wow wow.
And PL I will ask Santa to bring you the cow abduction lamp for Christmas.

Ulli , she has Lupus, and has been on Warfrin for years..
its what they put in rat poison, ( don't get me started.. )
It keeps her blood thin. But its now causing too many issues, internal bleeding.
They took her off it, but now all her veins are collapsing,
    so catch 22.

She sticks to the medical system 110%.
    Thinks the Doctors are Gods,
So for me to get anywhere near her to do "healings",
    it's a bit of a process.
Lots of chats between me and her higherself.
Sometimes i don't get the go ahead,
    sometimes i do.

    Illnesses have many functions.
Sometimes people choose to incarnate into a life of illness
to experience more fully "being in the body".

And healing doesn't necessarily prolonging life.
Her spirit is fractured from too much unresolved trauma.
So I'm working on soul and power loss with her.
The ironic thing is with her in hospital i can get closer,
when she is at home, Dad blocks our relationship.
So the ironic thing is her being so sick, means i can
actually have a chance at working with her at the soul level.

But ultimately its all about me, in that i'm being confronted to process things,
for both of us. Lots of ancestral work is needed to be addressed.
A long line of women being submissive, abused by men, common story...
Some skills i have some i need to build on.
So I have decided to formalize my Shamanic studies,
its the only modality i have found that deals with things right at the causal level.
And i keep coming back to it.
SO... i'm going off to train next year under some of Michael Harner's trainers.

I get frustrated being self taught everything, sometimes i feel the need to fill in the gaps.
I have been emailing these trainers for a while, and i connected with them straight away.
Lots of sychronicites, too many to ignore.
It's a big step for me, travelling, etc, but also exiting.
I have 2 days in Feb , introductory, which is fairly local,
then an 8 day retreat in April, which is a plane ride, next state over.
Then 6 days in June at the same place.

So my mission to balance my inside with the outside continues..
And hopefully i can solidify more the path i have been on for a few years now.

vielen dank! This is my main challenge now. Actually a lot of Virgo might mean clean and tidy, but also a LOT of details, small things crowding on'es space while the virgoan energy concentrates on one small area. Pluto also has a hard time letting go....

Aha you've go The Lord of The Underworld squaring your Moon....now i understand your efforts to take control over the patriarchal tendencies in the village

    "Pleeeeeease support me, Letting gooooooo"

And thankyou astrid, really needed that kind of serious perspective Here and Now....

And thankyou astrid, really needed that kind of serious perspective Here and Now....

Yoeman Calz, after careful consideration of the above stipulation from transiten of the diplomatic corps, I recommend that we enter into peaceful negotiations with the queen.

    Sounds good to me.

As it turns out the Fool has done stubbed his toe and fallen off that pesky cliff and is awaiting village medic modwiz in a heep at the bottom.

    Long walk from his tent.

Except riddle me this commander ... if not for 7 of 9 would you be so willing to surrender?

    Really????
