I remember watching a video with David Icke yesterday, but can't find the link in my browser history now 
But when browsing Project Gutenberg's recent releases, I came across a very interesting confirmation that this financial sleight-of-hand has been going on for nearly a century at least:
In these cartoons from the First World War, scroll down to the heading WHAT SHOULD WE DO WITHOUT MICHAEL? to see how loans were being used as security for more loans.
Have we learned nothing?
