The instant I hit send message, I received a text that said " they are among you..." which was a repeat from the other night when somebody mentioned true blood and I had texted one of the girls I work with who go on about it so much:

then, a moment after posting the edit, I was "praying" at the fire altar and I heard yelling across the street. I said, out loud, " listen, just listen" and one of the voices yelled very loudly "I can't hear you" and a moment passes, the yelling continues, and after a bit I say again to listen, just listen, and again, right on cue I hear again "i can't hear you" and while typing this edit I'm hearing from the other direction "I love you, I ain't tryin' to run you off"

Seems i'm working towards starting my own resource based economy, sort of...
My ex dropped in yesterday, bought us dinner and some food for my dogs,
i gave him a dozen fresh eggs from my girls, he was very happy.

Who needs money, all i need is move to where i have land, get some goats, make my own cheese, etc,
have loads of food growing, and Voila, i can swap for anything i need...

Good plan i think......

Sorry to hear of your loss Fred, im heading towards the same journey myself with my own mother. I pray that she now rests in peace,

I actually gave tony just such a trick, one of them universal power kind of things. He very well could be mucking with ulli's internet connection, but that would be using good powers for evil. He would never do *that*.

Hey there Eaglespirit, my step mom died last week, so me, my wife, and my sister came up to see her off, and to spend some time with my dad. I just Googled Uxbridge, so yeah, I see we aren't that far apart. Very cool. This reminds me of watching hurricanes threatening in the Gulf of Mexico back home, watching The Weather Channel all day. I hope we're both lucky and don't lose power, but if we do, my old buddy Jimmy Beam will be there to help...

Condolences to You and Your Family, Fred...and safe journey home.

I will never forget a few 4th of julys ago, when I had that sparkler bomb go off in my hand....

after calling and texting all the reiki people I know, well, within a few hours, underneath the blackened, curled back charred skin that was my thumb and forefinger previously, there was fresh pink skin underneath what had just been very bad third degree burns.

So, it has been a few days. I just finished taking my hands off of my last client of the day. An 80 minute deep tissue. Very happy with her treatment and left a nice gratuity. We are in the middle of a snowstorm and have 5 inches of wet snow on the ground. Had to cut some of the lines on my tarp covering my tent so that the snow can slide off. I placed a 2x4 in the center of the tent to give the supporting poles some help with any extra weight. The Oak tree full of leaves above my tent is very burdened with the snow and is groaning a bit. It keeps shedding snow to keep from dropping a branch on my tent. I am good friends with the tree and it wishes I was not there during this storm. We'll see how well my 'conversation' with the all of the energetic 'particulars' goes. I have a good feeling about things. Friends do not hurt friends, intentionally.

Have to leave the wellness center and go check on the tent now. I will give an update if the internet connection holds up.

The Lady in the Red Letters slowly sashays in her red spike heels higher than the Falls of Rauros, red skirt tighter than the grip of a woman in labor, in an Annunaki skin clinging black lambskin leather jacket, with 40 red rose buttons up the front, tinier than little French spring peas, 15 of which are unbuttoned at the top ... the wind blows back her hair, sunglasses glinting as she slowly moves towards Calz, sitting on a quay bench by the Village beach, staring at the undulating woman approaching him, with awe, trepidation and a sense of doom emphasized by the suddenly louring skies of grey cumulus accumulating over his head at supersonic speed and the cracks of lightening approaching one mile closer every three seconds don't help. Up and down The Village streets, doors slam shut, announcing and locating the movement of the Lady in the Red Letters.

The Lady in the Red Letters comes up to Calz, insolently and indolently viewing his aspects (Calz is really hung up on that sweatshirt with sequins) which are not displayed to their full potential but at least Calz is wearing clean white socks with his black sandals. <shudder>

"Calz.", the Lady in the Red Letters utters in a voice redolent of mead, honey, brown sugar, molasses, agarve, and maple syrup, slowly dripping down the inside of Calz's head, spine, and heart, to paralyze him, held motionless staring into the eyes of the Lady in the Red Letters wearing the biggest eyelashes he has ever seen, the size of which could never be smaller than the Empire State Building. "Calz,", she repeats throatily, "Ban you? Why ever would you think Queen Ulli would let you go? She has plans for you. Big plans. Queen Ulli says to tell you Calz," and the Lady in the Red Letters bends over giving Calz a glimpse of melons greater than the Great Pumpkin, shortly to arise on All Hallows Eve, "Halloween is coming Calz, and we're going to have dinner, mmmmmm .... roasted long pig."

Startled, the Lady in the Red Letters remembers she must put Calz on a diet solely consisting of spiced apples and sour dough stuffing for the remainder of his pitiful existence as she softly mutters a reminder into her iPhone4, a cherry candy apple Meatloaf red iPhone4 of course.

The Lady in the Red Letters disapparates as do the thunder and lightening, rolling away into the distance.

Calz, relieved yet forlorn, turns and quickly walks away, to avoid the reactions of the Villagers, who now know as Calz does not (he is not the brightest stick of incense in the package) ... the doom that awaits Calz, the dinner that awaits them. They smack their lips in anticipation. juicy, roasted, browned, bursting with goodness and Godliness, a unique recipe created by Chef Junebug, Caramelized Calz.

Here now? I'm sitting on my back porch near Byron in Oz, and there is a wonderful light show going on, thunder rumbling, my lights are going on and off, better be quick otherwise the electricity might go down. Hey, but I have plenty of candles!

I love nights like these, have a nice chilled charddy with ice in my favourite antique glass. What more could I want? All is well in my world.

PS: Uh oh! First sounds of hailstones on the roof! It's ok, my car is in the garage.

Extra PS: Rain falling softly now and the lightening show is magnificent, still rolling thunder. And the aroma from my garden is sublime. Rain on red hot soil and the scent of rain on the lawn and hedges, beautiful. Just imagine it....breathe it in deeply and enjoy....

2 million people without power in eastern US/New England this morning. 2 feet of snow!!!
I'm in the right place here in the warm, sunny south ... so done with snow and cold!
Tho it's pretty chilly here ... there was a light frost last night on the mountain.
