Nasty life, nasty astrological alignments. Up for approx 40 hours now, all of it with notable stress. I'm drinking a 'knockout beer', and then expecting that I'll be getting up after about 6 hours of fitful sleep, to continue where I left off.

Looking through Carmody's Lithium thread and some links on other threads tonight to get a much better grasp of some of the experiences and dreams I have had throughout my life -my computer takes a dive and not 5 minutes later the helicopters come flying over my house oh LOL... all day long peace not one helicopter.

Sitting here in the dark with a beautiful roaring fire tonight enjoying the quiet of the forest.

Day 13 and loads of energy, but also some hunger.
Maybe because i was around food more today, or
maybe because, how can i put this, my body
cleared out some serious toxic waste .
All I can say is ewwwwwwww .
To anyone considering fasting reading this ,
its totally worth doing.

Something else I'm noticing is that I'm very
sensitive to the radiation coming off my Mac
screen . I can't sit in front of it for any length of
time . Not such bad thing i was online too
much anyway .

I had an 'interesting' fasting experience once:

First, i fasted for 12 days.

Fasting, to me, means "no input", so i stopped smoking and tv as well.
Salt water flushes, lemon plus a herbal bath or two a day against the cold, that was all.
I could literally feel the toxins being dissolved from the brain [quite unpleasant feeling, as brand new experience, and intense] and the body, generally.
Amazing clarity of thought after the fast, that's what i liked the most. Everything seemingly slower, but sharply to the point - no "waste".

I can still remember my first meal after fasting: Some unsalted basmati with steamed carrots [Jorr!], completely unseasoned.
The taste of this was indescribably delicious [oh, sorry Astrid, just realizing... forgive me]; it was the most awesomest stuff i'd ever eaten... and if i say so, i mean i was in awe of the food.

And you know what? This threw me into one of the weirdest parts of my life:

I got addicted to cooking, preparing food for myself; later on, baking addiction accompanied this...
and all the cooking and baking got so extreme [cause i wasn't only doing it, but also stuffing all of the food into my body],
that at one point i realised i had lost my feeling for appetite/ hunger/ being satisfied completely, and if i would go on like it, i would be dead within a week:

Picture me eating until my whole body hurt, and i could take no more... whining because of the pain in the body, and also because i had to pause eating. I had to lay the body down somewhere, for a couple of hours, whilst craving to eat more... it was insane. When i realized that physical death was right at my door, i stopped the whole thing.

How could that happen? I asked myself.

I had once casually stated in a discussion about bulimia, that "i just cannot comprehend how someone can eat so much that they 'burst'.
&
I 'd really like to know how one can lose one's sense of being hungry or satisfied".

That was it. It was GRANTED.

I became a careful observer of casual statements of mine, after that. "Careful what you wish for". OMG.

May none of you need something like it.

Woke up feeling dopey this morning.
While Carmody's planetary windows are closing one by one Mars is starting the square to my natal Saturn (Virgo),
two more degrees to go, but I am beginning to feel the energy loss already.

Carmody you are nearly out of the woods...but according to the I Ching that is still a vulnerable place...
the warning is this image:
a fox is crossing an icy lake and all the time is listening to the noise the ice makes as it cracks under his weight, and just as he gets to the other side on his last steps the ice breaks and he gets his tail wet.
Since I spotted a Sun /Jupiter opp today that kind of misjudgment is still a possibility.
You can also expect more past life memories surfacing, as the north node is still doing its thing. If the remaining Saturn/Venus square is sending you thoughts like 'Nobody loves me", be assured Saturn is lying.

Thanks for sharing that. I had a similar experience when I lost all sense of fatigue once.
It wasn't even a feeling of insomnia, as that would produce some anxiousness.
But I used common sense at the time, and consciously did stuff that would induce sleep.
I knew bodies needed their rest, so I gave it that rest even though "it" didn't want it.

So the question is, when these strange urges come, who is the real "I"?
Two years later I was guided to the book that gave me many of the answers:
'In Search of the Miraculous', by P.D. Ouspensky.
A brilliant summary of 4th Way...the work of G.I.Gurdjieff.

And as for y'all in that discussion, peyote was my poison of choice after much sampling of the offerings of the day. Though, I sure had fun on LSD ... charging down a mountain side at a dead run leaping and whooping, doesn't get much better than that. Newbies... sunlight. Always. Sunlight.

Purple Lama: ... The Village weather vane cast in the shape of Queen Ulli's dear departed husband (the third) (or was it the fourth?) in Grecian robes and a wreath of laurel leaves wrapped around his bald head held aloft with wings of tarnished green copper creaks, considers turning, but doesn't. It is too humid, too still, too overcast. The breeze freshens ... a single beam of sunlight breaks through the clouds casting light on the heaving grey seas tossing spume wrack and driftwood on The Village beach. Purple Lama is walking blindly paying no attention to the calling sea gulls the waddling penguins the sea otters crashing into the barking seals as they slide down the water chutes left so kindly for their pleasure by The Village children but that is because only the seals are silly enough to park their blubbers at the end of a water chute, the crabs skittering out of his way though they'd love to stay and talk but they are too polite to interrupt the deep thoughts of one beloved by their kind as Lotus Blossom gently pulls the curtains closed and lights a fire in the kitchen to prepare Purple Lama's supper giving one last glance at the setting sun limning Purple Lama's purple hat as he bends over in astonishment and picks up an amethyst ... rolling to his feet weakly propelled by the sea from a land that never touched shore on this earth.

Calz: ... a breeze blows the curtain aside just to check on two little boys ...
