It seems to me, That Avalon has experienced, Shall we say turbulent waters as of late. All this unrest with Wilcock & Hoagland & others got me thinking today.
Who do you find most credible in the alt.comm.? Please give a name and a brief
description of the person that you think has the most credibility.

i have always enjoyed the works of alfred webre, jordan maxwell and richard dolan. they all bring something different too the table. there are others as well, but these three stick out in my mind currently as the real trend setters. they do not have any conflict going on, and they keep there business to what it relates too. thanks jagman.

In our 3D reality, One person is shining above anybody and that is Alex Jones... He should have all the support possible from every one on this planet, since is he is revealing the absolute truth, and even he is figuring out now how deep this goes beyond our fake reality. David Icke is spot on as well, and it is just such a pleasure to see how David and Alex are getting closer and closer to each other after years ago where Alex completely dismissed David's theory of reptilians controlling us via the Elite rulers/bloodlines, and now it feels like Alex is thinking ..hmmm maybe there is something about the reptile connection.

I listen to Alex every night/day and i suggest you all do that.

On the other hand, if Aaron Russo did not reveal his story, there would be no Alex Jones, so Aaron is for me the Awaking Source for me. May God love him and take care of him forever.

I would agree with Alex Jones, though i don't like his fear based presentation, he has gained much credibility by being right about everything he has been saying.

It's also interesting to note the publicity he has been giving David Icke lately.

I listen to everyone and trust no one, I just collect as much information as I can and wait and see what develops. In 50 years very little claimed by anyone has ever happened. Some of the stuff certain people say get me excited because if what they say is true, the world will become a better place, but it hasn't happened yet. I think each and every one of the most prominent talk some truth and some bollocks, I will never stick my neck out and claim to believe anyone totally.

Both these guys are too fringy for even the Alternative Media to be 'famous', which adds to their credibility, unfortunately.

But also:
The Electric Universe people. Their perspective is truely eye opening.

Henrik Palmgren from RedIce, doing such a good job.

Jim Humble. His MMS movement can have major impact.

Michael Cremo with his perspective of Forbidden Archeology.

Michael Tellinger for his work around Adam's Calendar (not so much his concept of contributionism, which I think is premature)

There are very few others that I trust, many more that bring valuable information (Lloyd Pie, Leo Zagami (yes I know) etc).

I used to have very set ideas about alternative web sites or speakers on the net, but after a couple of years now, all theese, "he said, she said,he's a fake; she has a secret agenda, who's done it or I have an amazing story that will give you the whole truth and blablabla" I prefer now to read all of this while keeping a little distance!

But Laughing, hell yes, that no one can take away!

The 'truth' we seek can't be measured, photographed or tested so it's my belief we need to: extrapolate, dissect, deduce, derive, process and consider all you hear because truth is as unique as the listener.

Hard thing to answer. It may sound too much new-agey, but I´d say this person is you.

What is credibility in the Alternative Community and Media? Mostly, a bunch of credible persons borrowing their own credibility to each other.

The real credibility comes from balance. Don´t claim nothing you can´t prove; One can make bold claims, as long as he has solid materials to back them up, otherwise, it´s just speculation.

Credibility in the Alternative Community comes from exploring all possibilities, using the full power of the intellect, to create alternative theories that may or not be right. The persons with real credibility in this scenario are the ones who believe everything while, at the same time, are suspicious about everything.

A man with credibility, for me, is the one who shows his research material in an unbiased way and has no fear of assuming that he might be wrong.

However, this rule is not applied to this scenario. Some people claim things they can´t prove, but they make alliances with other people who also claim things that they can´t prove, so they start backing up each other and BOOM; They have instant credibility. There´s a bunch of people out there claiming to know the absolute truth and still have the so called credibility.

So, the very meaning of the world credibility can be distorted very easily.

I´d look for the term "wise", which is much better. Wise men are humble, unbiased, very intelligent, very investigative and very creative. A wise man don´t claim to be right about anything; He just shows his work the best way he can, and let people decide about it, without using any tactics to interfere with people´s decision.

Unfortunately, the alternative scene is full of very assertive sentences, like They do that! They did this! They will do that! They are planning this! Like everyone is trying to impose their own personal view of the world to the rest of us. This is a characteristic of bad journalism.

Good journalism is when you gather the facts, show them to the public without the interference of your own opinion, and just let people judge, let people connect the dots.

I like Rich Dolan. He lacks the enormous ego that I see in many of the speakers I have met at conferences and conventions. He states his facts in his books and never tries to "one up" another speaker who is on stage with him. That alone sets him apart from about 90% of the other guys.

I had to sleep on my own question last night. To me, This is a hard question to answer. There are so many voices out there, Telling us so many
different scenarios of whats happening in our world. IMHO, I think Rich Dolan is a good choice for me. I have enjoyed reading your responses.
And I think its important to take the proverbial temperature of Avalon from time to time.
