This fireball was seen in certain parts of the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France and Germany. According to Nasa it is a meteorite.

"Piece of missile in atmosphere'
Groningen - Some of the rocket of the recent mission to the ISS entered the atmosphere Saturday evening and presumably evaporated. According to astronomer Theo Jurriëns of the University of Groningen (RuG).

People from all over Europe reported a large fireball in the sky. The fireball was seen for at least one minute.

According to some reports the fireball is a meteorite. But according to Jurriëns this is simply not possible. ''A meteor would be out of sight much quicker''.

Soyuz rocket
He calls it more likely that it is a piece of the Soyuz rocket that Andre Kuipers (Dutch Cosmonaut) used to travel to the ISS (International Space Station).
It might have been the last stage of the launch of the rocket. This could have entered the atmosphere around midnight.

To our knowledge there is no debris damage. The National Police reports to have had twenty calls about the "fireball". The ESA (European Space Agency) was not available for comment Saturday.

So.. the ESA is not available for comment and Nasa is very quick to claim the fireball is a meteorite, which for the trained eye seems to be not correct. If this is a piece of space debris and the agencies should have nothing to hide, why is it that the ESA says "no comment". Ugh... Never a Straight Answer.

Christmas Eve lights in sky probably meteor

Christmas Eve was topped off for many in Germany by the sight of what was probably a meteor, but looked like a mysterious star – or even Santa and his sleigh.Callers to the Antenne Thüringen radio station described three glowing dots with a long tail which spread into several parts across the sky.

“It was great, very impressive,” said one caller. Another woman told the radio station, “We saw the light spectacle on the way home from church. Our daughter thought it looked like Santa’s sleigh with reindeer.”

Some said it looked like a red glowing star with a smoking tail, while others spoke of an intense white glowing tail.

Andreas Schütz, spokesman for the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) said the unidentified flying object was unlikely to have been Santa, or aliens or an accident – but was most likely to have been a meteorite, or even a piece of space junk falling to earth.

“It must have been a very large piece to create such intensity and duration of light,” he said.

The phenomenon was seen at around 5.30 p.m.across Germany, from the Netherlands border to the south of the country.

Nothing to see here folks, move along. Yeah right! Just a handful of main stream media outlets are reporting this thing. Nobody knows what it really was and where it crashed.

What ever it was, one thing you can be sure of......that last thing we can expect from the television based media is truth.


Those that watch the skies are discovering that it is a busy place up there for alien traffic.
