Getting ready for bed, after attending the funeral, then a huge birthday party for Father-in-law,
over 100 people with band and endless food, then spent a few hours with widow,
just the two of us, dealing with some practical issues she needed help with.

Now totally pooped wondering about what I need to learn about crystals.
Decided to hold some of my garnets, which I heard are good for Capricorns.
Sending loving energies to all you lovely villagers.

Ordered more BT & hematite. Found jet again, and was really pulled to that as well. He can use what called to him, and I will get loaded back up...as will my girls. There was more than one reason, I guess, that he took the crystals & stones to work. He needs them there, I needed to share here, needed for you all to help, needed to go to my favorite website...to be reminded of the gems I pulled from the earth myself about a year ago. Have golden healers, which raise vibrations, smoky quartz, which removes negativity, and clear clusters which will break up negativity in the house (if any). I was pulled to red jasper, which I have tucked away somewhere, and sodalite and lapis lazuli. Tomorrow is crystal day for me. And...I'm excited

Here and now I ponder the higher quality forum that Bill posted about recently. Given my inability to relate to many of the threads it would seem that I should just bide my time and stay out of trouble while my own 'inner' quality rises and matches the level of the rest of the forum. I mean, if the forum seems particularly uninteresting then it must be me. What other possible explanation could there be for it?

Anyway, I always have here and now to feel at home in. A rain is falling in upstate NY and I hope it does not turn to snow and make my outside life miserable. It is so nice and cozy in my Tower.

I am very drawn to celestite, tazanite, deep red fire rubies and clear quartz crystals that do not have any fractures in them.

I will say this; there are some things that have risen up and have been rearing their ugly heads of late and i am grateful for the gentle and powerful energies coming through that are tuning and raising the vibrational rates of human beings and others..... we can either accept it or not or go with it or not.... we do have a choice.

Here and Now ~ It's very surreal and negative "out there"....again. Another thing I've noticed during the holidays is how anti-climatic it feels right now. Like we are all waiting for another shoe to drop or something. Tons of energy flowing through us ~ like it or not. When my cats are unruly, I spray them with a little water bottle. They run and it works well except the kittens think it's a game. Some days lately, so much energy coming through my crown chakra, I want to spray the top of my head for relief and cooling down. Tons of energy out there coming home to roost. Morphing our DNA and changing our perspective on life.

And a feeling of heaviness as if we are just about to throw off a huge load of 3D BS but can't quite lift the load high enough to gain enough traction to lift it high and let loose of it ~ so it can get out of our current vista. When I walk downstairs from my third story bedroom, my legs seem to have forgotten how to "walk." Can't wait to finally morph into a lighter body, too. It's time.

Our DNA is activating like crazy, just morphing away to beat the band. So weird feeling these changes from the outside inward instead of the other way around. I have a little kundalini dance I do to allow it to flow through me into the Earth and then return back into the Heavens above and there is some relief in this method. It looks silly but works wonders.

Everything is happening at warp speeds even when we are stationary and unmoving. We are traveling farther distances from our home base these days while we sleep and we are more tired and very unhappy when we can't rest and continue our personal physical morphing. All we have to show for it along with fleeting memories of space travel are the aches and pains of growth that are left in the morning. Enough to make you groan upon arising.

We had a huge snow storm last night that left the whole forest so deep, so white, so unreal, I am still shaking my head in amazement. The sheer beauty of all this white is incredible and a bit daunting. Nice and warm inside. One male cat, Ty, acting up, wanted to toss him outside to think about his behavior and to fend for himself for ten seconds. It is not easy to live together with other beings. We do our best but sometimes the space if too small and confining as in Winter. I hate it when the older cats fight and we are all stuck in a small living space together. However, cats are much easier and kinder than people. After raising seven kids, this much is clear to me ; )

It's funny how quiet and peaceful it can be and then with one phone call form one child and everything calm is shattered. We had a death in the family but not the one expected. One granddaughter got out of rehab, on her birthday yesterday, I am so proud of her achievement, she graduated into a half-way house. Another is not speaking to me for reasons of her own addiction. Family dramas are a part of our tradition, I just don't participate anymore. The panic is fleeting, thank goodness with more detachment available. What a relief! These addiction problems run in our family and each has had to deal with it in their own way. Addictions come in all sizes and shapes and involve many things. At one time in my life, I was addicted to chaos and seemed to thrive in that atmosphere. Seven kids will do that, juggling everything without support of a husband or significant other. You grow or die. You learn to be flexible or crack. I found jobs that required dealing under pressure to highlight a new strength but those days have ended, too. Thank goodness. Pick your poison it seems. Great to move on now...

So many families are affected by "issues and disfunction." All the flaws seem brighter and shinier during holidays. Lots of blame and denial going on but the shattering of the silence is interesting. How this works and how easy it is to buy into it ~ if we are not careful and mindful. I absolutely hate phones. Don't like the news ~ ever ~ or so it would seem. Phone IMHO are only good to order out for pizza but we live too far up on Mt. Baldy for delivery, so you can just forget that whole idea of needing one. Laugh here.

One day, I will just toss mine off the deck and down into the snow. This could happen monetarily. Just teasing. Baby, it's cold outside right now. Two blue Jays who I call my "Bluebirds of Happiness" did not come by for bread crusts and seeds today. I missed them and wonder if they are keeping warm out there in the treetops filled so thick with snow. I would hate to be out there in the cold. Also wonder why they didn't fly South for the Winter? Even the squirrels are not hibernating this year. They sense something new in the air, too.

Things are changing all over and especially within our own body and hearts.

I wrap up tighter in my fleecy electric blanket, a great blessing for which I am so grateful. The warmth! I turn the control to 7 and I am content in my world. Just hold my calls, please. I do not participate much anymore in the family dramas. It feels good to be "away" and out of touch with some things not needed anymore. Do I love my family less? No, but no guilt either. So much of what we do is wrapped up in guilt and obligations. Enough to invalidate them if we think about it. Things done in obligation are not true gifts we can give each other. They are the ties that bind and imprison us. We need to learn to release them and move into finer pastures of peace and well-being for everyone involved. Especially what we perceive to be the needs of others and our role in fulfilling them. My sense of obligation has left me these days, I've morphed into something kinder to myself and eventually this is surprisingly reflected upon others in a more kind way, too. This always surprises me, this being honest about feelings and what we want to do or not. Just put it out there and people are willing to respect your wishes. Shocker...

These old perceptions of our "obligations" are leaving us now, if we allow it, and the need to participate leaves with them.

To ground myself, I play with my kittens. They always make me laugh and I hope you feel the joy, too. Happy New Year to all. Much love from Sandpoint, Idaho in a quiet blizzard. Pictures to follow. Since last night was the first chance I had to speak with my mother about the experience that my brother and I had on their property, I will call it close enough to here and now to relate. After discussing the experience with her, my mother had no recollection or memory of leaving the house that night, by foot or in car. Which is a fitting end to the story.

So, to begin, it was the first weekend of this December. My brother and I were riding four-wheelers through the woods at night, sipping on some good beer and what not. After a while we drove into a large field on my parents' property, cut the lights, and continued a previous conversation. Earlier that day, I had helped my mother by bringing the Xmas stuff from the barn to the house and setting up the trees, etc. She had me searching for a set of crocheted placemats that were made by my Great-great-grandmother ages ago. I was not able to find them. So, it was not hard to find an explanation when my brother and I saw car headlights leaving my parents house and heading towards the barn. I surmised, even late though it was, that my mom was stubbornly headed towards the barn to look for the placemats. In the field, we were probably a thousand yards or so from the barn. We both saw the headlights of an SUV, which my mom drives, drive from the house and pull up to the barn. We both could see the headlights shining on the barn doors, but we couldn't make out an actual vehicle. My brother and I said at the same time, "Let's go help her." It was nearly midnight; what mother's son would not go and help their mother? My brother cranks up his Suzuki and takes off, and I linger, finishing my nail, cranking up the Honda.

As I take off, I can see the headlights of my brother's Suzuki nearing the barn, approaching the SUV parked with its headlights still on and shining on the barn door. I hit the gas, barrel through the pines, bobbing and weaving and ducking under the branches - the area around the barn is heavily wooded with pines trees - and pull up next to my brother, who had parked and turned off his wheeler. To my great astonishment and puzzlement there is no SUV in front of the barn; just my brother and me and two silent four wheelers. I was absolutely flabbergasted. I had taken my eyes off of the barn for mere seconds while driving through the pines, and somehow had not noticed that there was no SUV there until I pulled up next to my brother.

I turned to my brother and said, "Dude, what the ****?! Where's the ****ing SUV?! There's nothing here?! Did you see anything?" My brother sat there without any expression, stonefaced, silent, dazed as if in a trance. I had to holler at him to get his attention and then he snapped back to reality. I said again, "What happened to those lights?' He said, "I have no idea." I quizzed him about what he saw when he arrived. Was there a vehicle? Didi it leave? What was here the moment you arrived? What else would have made those lights? He had no answers and things just weren't adding up. We both drove around the barn in opposite directions hoping that there was a SUV hiding behind it. We met on the other side and there was nothing. Both of us commented that our skin was goosebumped and our hairs were standing on end. I am accustomed to that awareness, and it was coming on strong. It was significant that my brother would comment that he was feeling it too. Absolutely puzzled without any idea what had happened, unable to rationally explain what had happened, we simply popped another beer, shrugged it off, and kept riding, heading towards the Natchez Trace. What bothered me most was my brother's silence and dazed state of mind. He was just sitting there silent, and didn't notice the absence of the car lights until I broke his silence with my questions. Normally quite keen and observant, that was entirely unlike him.

The story continues a week later when my brother had a job to do in our city, and I was going to work with him. After several days into his visit, sitting around a campfire in the backyard, I asked him about his account of the experience. This was most interesting. I asked, "Do you remember what happened last weekend, at the barn, seeing those lights, but nothing was there?" My brother, who is older than I am by four years, and whom I greatly respect and admire, twisted his head and face with a puzzled look, and I could tell he was searching for something. He honestly could not remember what happened. I began to tell the story, but without many details because I wanted to hear what his account. I recounted enough for him to begin to remember. He came around, and he said that he had forgotten about it, and that he didn't remember it until I prompted him to remember. He was sincerely confused and puzzled. I asked him to recount what he could remember. He said that there was a very bright, blinding white light, and he remembered seeing our mother walking to the barn in a white night gown. When I heard that the chills ran up my spine like kundalini and radiated outwards. He immediately commented that his hairs were standing on end all over his body. Again, a presence was palpable and overbearing. I asked him if he was bull*****ing me. He was being honest as he could be, and I knew it.

At that time, after hearing his memory of it, I told him what I remembered, which is the account told above, and I could see it unnerved him more than ever. Perplexed, much like before, we washed our uncertainty down with another tasty adult beverage and decided it best to leave it at that. It wasn't until later, after talking with the Lama, that it appears that my brother had his (false) memory - bright light, our mother in a night gown - and I had mine - my mother's SUV driving down the lane and parking and the bright headlights shining forth. What stands to be reckoned is what happened between the time I drove from the field to the barn, which to my recollection was a matter of seconds. But anybody's guess is as good as mine.

Talked with a dear dear friend of mine recently who recommended to me that I pursue the Classics more in depth -read the Iliad, emphasized the Greek Mythos and ancient Middle Eastern texts & Myths also.... and he said that since most of my history was Scots-Irish to read the Mabinogion and then delve into Irish lore too.... I have a lot of home work to do. My friend who recommended I study more of this material told me about PA. We had a lot of discussions about many of the topics discussed on PA.... he is pretty well read on many of the topics here and mine is more experiental in nature so we compliment each other in many ways.... anyways one day he asked me, "have you heard of Project Avalon?"...........

Yes, I recognized that you had an overlay of what happened that first night you told me about it, soon after it had happened, before you talked with your brother. Remember? I has lotusblossom recount her memory of a contact experience where she remembered a blindingly bright light, which is what your brother described later when you queried him on the experience.

I have to say I agree with Modwiz about the threads on the forum of late not being of particular interest, though I also agree that's a subjective thing.
Not much activity on PA lately either.
I think the departure of LS has definitely taken a toll, though I imagine there will be a new influx of members by and by...

But it's nice to see the discussion here about crystals and semi precious stones used for healing, protection, etc.
Several months ago, I volunteered to proof read for a favorite channeler of mine, Gillian MacBeth Loudan, who also sells various types of crystals and rocks, and she has been sending me some of those in exchange for my proof reading.
I have been quite amazed at the energy I am feeling from these new members of my collection.
They really feel alive, and each is unique.
I recommend her as a good source of crystals and stones, and her channeled messages have a unique and original style that doesn't just repeat the "same old, same old" as so many do, but often are spot on as to timing and the kinds of energies I am experiencing at the time.

Ho hum ... here and now I find the most interesting energy shared in the forum tonight was here (and now) talking about crystals.

I have several magnificent spheres at home ... one rose quartz as astrid showed and another very cool amethyst. Will try to remember to take a some photos of (at least) those and share here (but not now ).

I have this 'give-away' syndrome when it comes to wonderful crystals...whenever prompted I simply hand them over to the person they seem to need to be with...keeps my own crystal cycle on the move too : )

Just a note and pic...if You are new to sungazing just simply let those in Your Life know that You are enjoying/watching sunrises and sunsets more than ever because it makes You happy...they don't need to know You have become a sungazer if that will ruffle too many feathers at first...heck, they may even join in on the meditations once in a while once they see and feel the happiness from You coming and going and going and going!!!
