Who are we? Who am I? Who are you?

Hi everyone, I'm pretty transparent. My avatar is Mandala, but I am Susan. My bio pretty much tells all. What you read is the truth. I love this forum and I like, even love to pieces many of you which I have gotten to know. I was drawn to Camelot by Kerry and to Avalon by Bill. It was great to meet them and shake their hand in person.

I'm too wise and old for secrets or games. I have no other objective but peace between countries and races and enhancing my life with others who feel likewise. I pick my battles and they must be well worth it. I still love my country, and realize it is in turmoil, but I love it and what it did stand for, as designed by my fore-fathers

I love my family and my job and I love my students, they are precious.

I feel quite stressed at the present and find my finances not going as far to meet previous needs. I am an average person with an average family and a big heart. I really care what happens to all of you. I love that I met so many like-minded people at the Camelot Conference and hope to meet many more of you.

I indeed wish you the best always and wish you a Happy 2012. Susan, Mandala

And indeed elsewhere. Not that being "found" is relevant. We were never lost we're just (W)here.

I think it all depends on what you are comfortable with. I used to give out my personal info, but like some of the others, I ended up having a stalker too. So I decided not to be too specific with my info and would give my info out after I get to know and trust people. If you never had that experience of having a stalker, then I understand why u would post that. But trust me, people really have to be careful, because there are some dangerous people out there.

    Hi.

My (real) name is Cal and I am an accused Wilcoholic.

Matters not that my participation in said fan base was due to his accessible presentation of assorted scientific data that would not have reached many without him.

Must be a religion ??? What???

... but I guess that should be covered in the "other" bisected portion so

    Brilliant!

I missed the fireworks. But in general, I think I have witnessed an unbelievable amount of very skillful manipulation. And I think the folks who are getting really riled up and angry and in trouble are indeed the intended victims of the very skillful manipulation.
    '
That's just my opinion. But, I'm with Calz, an accused and found guilty Wilcoholic, I seem to belong to a new religion that I never joined. Accusations, anyone? Why are some accusations okay?

And why is snide sarcasm okay, dear mods? There's quite a bit of that around too. Really nasty. Nothing ever said about that.

So, to me, comments that are clearly meant to be insulting, to put someone down, to make fun of someone, or to simply call them a name, seem to be okay, within bounds. But when someone reacts to all this provocation, and gets angry, then they get in trouble. That's what I see. Kind of like an agent provocateur. But when there's a really good agent provocateur, nobody notices it. They just bite.

I saw an incident a few days ago. Someone was replying to a very long post, that began with good manners and ended with good manners, but in the middle were some statements that were very, very insulting, obviously to me at least, very deliberately insulting. A poster replied critically to that and used exclamation points. That poster was called on the carpet by the mod, because he used exclamation points, but I have to ask, did the mod really read the post the exclamation points were responding to? Really? I mean, really read it? It's hard for me to believe it. I haven't had a chance to ask the mod, but I will eventually.

There's a lot of stuff going on here, and it isn't looking very good to me at all.

I really think it makes little difference what anyone looks like. This isn't a dating website! Likewise, it makes little difference what your name is. If you make friends with people, I'm sure you will get to meet them, so it's not needed for everyone to know who you are.

Of course, the Elite can track your IP address and put spyware on your computer by starting a post here and submitting a picture or video with spyware that your computer downloads when you view it. So I'm personally not afraid of anyone knowing who I am, I just choose not to share at this time.

    Sticks and stones,

Negative is an energy, It exists,

It is more about how each person responds towards that negativity.

    Lessons to be learned.

i use wolf_rt on the net wherever i am able.... you will find a lot more out about me by googleing wolf_rt than you would my real name, if anybody wants to know my real name or anything else about me shoot me a pm... Im sure anybody with any hacker skills could connect my real name and wolf_rt easily, and have my address, ph number etc. etc...

personally i do not feel that using an 'avatar' name diminishes anybody's credibility... Its the information on a forum that is credible or not, not the individual.

Yes . If you Google my name given name you will be given a lot of information about a national refuge down in the south west part of the country. I hope everyone who is curious about me, and desperately seeking to find out what I'm hiding, finds that useful.

I suspect I would be spending a lot of time attempting to convince people I'm not a national refuge.

Wow, the grindstones are on high gear in this thread! Whew!

Seems to me like people are busying themselves looking at the splinters in the eyes of others... There's my splinter to point out for the day.

Now, if you'll excuse me I have a plank to attend to.

That's a great quote, but it seems that when some people try to discuss the idea of a coming new religion of ascension and to be aware that not everyone who is lifting themselves up as a teacher is teaching anything new, but appears to want to be the new leader of a new religion and is channeling ra, and is the reincarnation of Jesus, that while it is about a man doing this, it's more important that the idea behind the man could be fairly dangerous. So, again, point the finger at people like me who see an alarming groundwork being laid no matter how vociferously people proclaim they don't follow a man, I've seen it before. I do think many bad things in history have happened with the people in complete denial.

So, it has progressed. I did not start the name calling. I did call into question apparent qualities of an event which the longer this plays out the more it appears was a manipulate not only to me, but many. You have a right to want to belittle what's been presented in my original posts which interestingly were derailed and this one that did the derailing by Darla is continuing, but I don't like being painted into a corner by others. If I am going to get stuck in a corner, I'd rather do it myself, but then again, boxes don't suit me.

I got 10 pages of results, read about 3 pages.. 1 link actually was me... sorta...

I hear facebook stalking is a common trend now & that's what you ALLOW the public to see, not what you think is secure (and isnt)

I'd say like anything else privacy has several levels to it, sorta like paul said earlier... some prefer more restriction on their information & who's to judge them if they want that? I'm pretty understanding, I can read people fairly well but at the same time I know the individual experience that we all have is at best very difficult to relate to accurately...

helps me on my goal to stop judging people

Why is this a conversation? Why would anyone assume that they know why someone else does or does not post their real name and picture on any forum, that it is only because they are cowardly? Why is a wish for privacy or being playful or artistic with a symbol or nickname being dishonest? Or whatever other reason a person might have (for one example, a contract with a publisher to not write anything using their real name) ? I think this whole issue is short-sighted and petty. And exhausting.

I don't mind revealing who I am. I don't think in terms of avatars, blaza, blaza, blaza but I do think in terms of artistic works.

My real name is Robin Mead.
    I live in North Carolina.
I'm not a bad looking person, as that sort of thing goes but I don't have a picture of myself, don't even own a camera, let alone a camera phone, in fact, don't own a phone so... Not technically challenged, just don't want the stuff right now.
I study and work with sustainable energy solutions.
I'm here to learn and share. I'll assist others as I can.

In the future, at least as I envision it, anonymity will be a fundamental right. Something neither questioned nor debated.
Everyone can have their reasons, which they have a right to that must be respected.

I decided that for me it would be okay to post my real name.

Is it the pretty bow we're after? And the shiney paper? Or is it the gift within?

Names can and should be coded to protect the innocent and the vulnerable.
    No?

So what's the argument...that without a true name everyone is suspect?
That reasoning doesn't leave too many credible members though, does it?

Naw, it's never that cut and dried, black and white. And integrity encompasses more arenas than just courage.

Anyways, Unified Serenity could only be of the highest quality and integrity.
Come on, with a name like that? What else could one expect? (respect, US, just joking)
