    Other areas of the planet most likely have a plant or another organism that also assist human immunity in this way. ~By simply being in the local environment. Could it be that fields of flowers and bee's kept us healthy?

    Also the common onion cut up and left on ones windersill is a great guard against bacteria. It draw them from the environment.
