I had a college math professor that always like to remind the classes that the indigenous cultures of America contributed nothing to the field of mathematics. One time I solved a theoretical graph problem he assigned that no one else could crack. He commented to the class that it was a problem that one didn't need to know anything to solve.

Would it surprise you if I said I didn't like him very much.

I guess in fairness I should add that no one else did either. He seemed to be an equal opportunity misanthrope.

This video is not racist! It's pointing out Obama's duplicity, inconsistency and falseness. It is not saying that white racists can love Obama's Caucasian heritage, while black racists can love his African heritage. I do hope the 'racism' cry wasn't a way of stifling out genuine concern about Obama's double-talk.

Whilst I am in no position to state why this comment was made for me I understand the possible reason.

In the UK at least any comment can and will be used against you. If you say Atlantis was used by only by Whites or Catholics the PC Bridge will have your guts for breakfast. I am sure and BestLion can correct me, but I believe her comment was not based on factual evidence but was a possible attempt to highlight that certain factions are using the old divide and conquer.

I apologise to the Mods and the OP for not staying on focus.

Bestlion can speak for herself and I hope she does as she has not previously, but in other threads she has put forth similar views in more detail, to include outdated statistical models that ascribe intelligence according to race, indicating that they are indeed her views. I did not come here to fight such perspectives as I did not originally believe that I would find such here, amongst people I believed to represent a more scientific and measured viewpoint, but here we are.

Regarding the thread, Obama remains a sure indicator when it comes to such topics as race is invariably involved in any discussion regarding him and the motivations of those who like or dislike him. I personally am quite aware of what he has done as many here are. Pointing that out is not racist, imho. But where personal prejudice does arise I do find it necessary to confront it directly and that is not being PC. People can believe what they want, but if they're going to state it aloud they better be able to back it up with facts, such as they may be.

Actually, Bob I haven't even viewed your original post but the response has been interesting. I'm sure you know as well as I do that humor has many facets and can be put to even more uses and not all of them are conducive to imparting understanding and tolerance of our fellows. Race? The racial argument is focused on the OP cartoon. I just finished watching it and it is hilarious. I laughed out loud. Why? Because I voted for Obama and this cartoon says it all. Perhaps this thread should be titled, Deception vs. Duplicity.

The Obama video didn't have any racism at all. It was straight and fair. I voted for the man, he made my eyes moist when he was running. Now, he makes my blood boil. I do have to credit him with opening my eyes to see how there is no political system of representation in DC. It is all crime and nothing but crime. Almost all of the town belongs in prison and many of them deserve whatever the penalty for the committing of treason is. Feeding them to sharks as they have fed us would be appropriate.

The depth of depravity and criminality in Wash, DC cannot be overstated or exaggerated. It is crime scene replete with war criminals.
