    This is the translation of a german article published 2011 in issue 70 of the print magazin "Zeitenschrift".

    The translation is done by me and may lack some fluency as I am not a native english speaker.

    I would also like to note, that I do not necessarily agree with every aspect in this article. Please use your common sense and judge for yourself and live by it. But do not throw away the whole story, just because one fact might be mis-described or doubtful.

    My personal opinion: I am in search of a natural resource of minerals since a longer time since I did not want to take any kind of minerals that are most likely produced artificially in some lab or pharmaceutical factory, maybe even from waste products of the chemical industry.

    I think I found a good source in the minerals described in this article. I started to take them regularly a week ago. As I do not have any concrete ailment, I can only report of an increased clearness in my mind since taking them. But this might be also due to the fact, that I started my old vegetarian lifestyle again. Another thing I recognized is, that my food cravings have diminished, leading to more conscious eating habits.



    Have you eaten your stone today?

    No? But thats what you should probably do in future. Because researchers have discovered the reason, why some of the cultures in the Caucasus region and north Siberia belong to the ones with the longest life spans and know of almost no sicknesses or tumors.

    The answer is so simple and astonishing as well – its is the stone dust in their food that keeps them healthy. But don't worry, you don't have go out early in the morning in your bathrobe to dig for your breakfast.
    This can be done much simpler – continue reading and you will learn how.

    Although, some people really do try themselves as stone eaters. For instance Sofi Abdul Razap, a 71 year old Afghani from the village of Asiaban. He is well known in his country and beyond because he eats every day 1 kilogram (2.2 pounds) of limestone. Its assumed that Baba Sangkhor ("Stone eater") has eaten already more than 7 tons. He says, he feels splendid. In fact, he even feels sick if he is not able to get his stony meal. Nineteen years ago, after the death of his wife, Baba Sangkhor started to eat humus (top soil), then charcoal, and lastly stone.
    "It helps me to forget my grief", he explains biting demonstratively into a 200 gramm (7 ounces) piece of sandstone. There is something true in this. Also in Europe people report that hey have overcome depression with the help of mineral rich stone dust.

    Physicians are shocked of course. Who eats stones like Baba Sangkhor is risking internal bleedings and damages to the digestive system, their warnings sound. But Baba Sangkhor does not devour the stones unground. He chews on them long and pleasurably. Apparently this has not impaired his teeth nor did this damage his digestion.

    In Africa too, one likes to eat stones. During pregnancy many Kenyan women develop a ravenous appetite for a special sort of soft stones called "Odowa". Physicians assume a mineral and iron deficiency in this women. Pregnant women with this appetite are welcome customers to the merchants on the market of Nairobi who stock on this Odowa Stones.

    Especially the industrialized countries are afflicted by a slowly growing mineral deficiency. This is weakening our soils as well as us humans.

    Everything is connected with everything in nature. The bacteria in the soil, fungi, plants and tress are supporting each other interdependently.
    Bacterias take up minerals, digest them and excrete them as ions. This ions are taken up from plants and trees and so enter the food chain of man and animals. Plants and trees on the other side are giving nutrients (mainly glucose) which is welcomed by fungi and bacteria which is their source of living. Therefore fungi and roots form a symbiosis called "Mykorrhiza".

    This symbiosis is disturbed by different environmental conditions like acidic rain, wrong fertilizing and mobile communication networks, leading to a die off of "partners". This sudden disappearance of species in the inter-relationships has also a great impact on man and beast. The exchange of nutrients is disturbed and therefore our food itself is directly affected.

    Food is becoming less and less rich in nutrients, and all life is more and more strained by influences like cellular networks. We do need more nutrients as in the past. Through this widening gap of supply and demand we get less and less of the life essential minerals, vitamins and micronutrients. Here are some examples of how our food has changed from 1985 to 1996:

    Calcium: Broccoli -68%; Beans -38%; Potatoes -70%
    Magnesium: Carrots -57%
    Beta Carotene: Fennel -80%
    Folic Acid: Bananas -84%, Broccoli -52%
    Vitamin B6: Beans -61%, Bananas -67%
    Vitamin C: Apples -80%, Strawberries -67%
    Iron: Tomatoes -99.5%, Spinach -96%

    Seeing that spinach, once considered as iron source par excellence, contains only a mere fraction of this micronutrient compared to previous years, it becomes comprehensible that more and more people are suffering from iron deficiency. Especially women are affected as they loose iron constantly during menstruation, which can not be fully replenished anymore now. (see: ZS 61, Page 60, „Eisenmangel – Das unerkannte Menschheitsleiden“, "Iron Deficiency - the unknown affliction of mankind")
    As some elements are missing, like iron for instance, deficiency symptoms come up first - and if they are not taken care of, disease will be the result.

    Therefore it is important to support the body with all nutrients and minerals in a perfect way. But it is not enough to add some minerals and vitamins to ones diet. Firstly there is not enough of almost everything in our food and secondly many nutrients do not unfold their full potential when taken alone. The interaction with other minerals and trace elements is needed for them to become "active" and unfold their potential. We should take into account also that products produced the typical chemical/pharmaceutical way are almost useless. The body can hardly handle, assimilate and process them.

    The old indigenous cultures and animals show us how to deal with it, by eating certain plants, berries and roots, and sometimes also stone dust. Or should we call it by eating "dirt"?

    As mentioned previously, the people with the longest life span are often found in so called "underdeveloped" indigenous cultures, that are still living in harmony with nature. Its is almost impossible in our present civilized western world to become old healthily without the addition of dietary supplements. Simply because our food is no more what it used to be. Add to this the diverse stresses and strains, as well as cellular networks and food that is even unhealthy.


    Why Mineral Deficiency?

    There are many reasons why there are hardly any minerals left in our food today. Our soils for instance consist of sediments from previous oceans. Minerals in the mountains are washed out by rain into the rivers. As many rivers are straightened in their course by man, they cannot wind their way around anymore. Dams prevent the rivers to rise above their shore lines and to replenish the farmland with minerals.

    Instead the "unused" minerals are washed into the sea. The once so fertile shores of the nile are a well known example of this leaching of the soil.

    The Mykorrhiza is weakened by different influences, which in turn adds to the bad nutrient values of our food. Plants and trees need a well functioning symbiosis to be able to take up the nutrients from the soil.

    Add to this the killing of all remaining soil bacteria by wrong fertilization of farm lands. Especially horrible if unburnt lime is spread onto the fields. Missing microorganisms means: Minerals are not processed for the plants anymore – our food is becoming more and more scarce of vital minerals and trace elements.


    How to support the body?

    Many people focus mainly on taking additional vitamins. Taking minerals and trace elements falls easily into oblivion, at least for us humans. If you compare the content declaration of baby food and animal food you will find that baby food contains much less minerals and trace elements (about 12 different ones) than concentrated animal food (about 40). Is this an explanation why the rate of miscarriages for animals (1 in 500,000) is about 100 times smaller than for humans (1 in 5,000)?

    A healthy body easily maintains a healthy life if he is allotted with all the minerals, trace elements and vitamins he needs. If some substances are missing, conditions on the cellular level are not met, for instance to build a healthy body for an unborn child. If you supply your body with enough vitamins, minerals and trace elements during pregnancy it can have a positive impact for the future development of the child. It is important to know that, Vitamins don't show their full effect if they are not taken together with minerals. The body needs minerals in order to assimilate vitamins correctly.

    An example of a very good mineral supplement are the "Schindele's Mineralien".

    The austrian Robert Schindele discovered "his" minerals by mere accident. It was in spring 1981. He was supervising the building of a new forest road. For the gravel he used stone from a volcanic plug that the road was cutting into during building works. While transporting and unloading the gravel a lot of stone dust was raised that settled on the road sides. With rain the dust seeped into the soil. Some months later the forest ranger wanted to cut some firs along the sides of the road that had been marked earlier as fit for felling. To his surprise this trees looked all green and densely grown. Amazed he asked Robert Schindele, if this firs are really to be cut, as they look all so healthy. For Robert Schindele the solution to this riddle could have been only the stone dust. After some time of observation he informed the media about this astonishing discovery and was soon celebrated world wide as the discoverer of a remedy against the forest dieback.

    Schindele thought, what is healthy for trees might be healthy for him as well. After taking the stone flour his health changed dramatically. He was suffering from the effects of a meat poisoning, had often strong flatulances, and his uric acid had a value of 7.6 which lead to articular gout. The flatulances were gone after 3 days of intake. After 3 weeks his blood pressure went down from 180/100 to 145/85. He was able to eat "normally" again and didn't have to worry about his blood values anymore. Also after some time his white hair became black again.

    How do minerals work?

    Exposure to cellular networks and stress, but also wrong diets (especially refined sugar), force the body to produce acid. Too much acid in the body leads to increase of microorganisms that release toxins which lead to symptoms we call as different "ailments" (see ZS 56, Page 38 "Übersäuerung - Wenn das Licht im Blut verlischt", "Hyperacidity - When the light in the blood dies off"). Later on this hyperacidity leads to acidosis - the constant hyperacidity of body tissues and fluids. Intoxications are the result, toxicemia (decay of the blood) and scorification. Minerals are one of the best acidic buffers. They connect in the body with the acids and neutralize them. And they bind toxic substances in the bowels so they can be excreted. As minerals are also transported into the blood- and lymph-system, any deficiency is also automatically remedied.

    But minerals cannot only help with various ailments, they are also used to treat radiation damages with great success. Schindele's Minerals for instance are clockwise, positively magnetized and have a retrograde property. Thereby they help to neutralize the anti-clockwise, negative energy of artificially produced radioactive substances.

    Robert Schindele is writing in his book about a man with severe radiation damage, attained by working in an uranium mine for many years. After several days of intake of the minerals the trembling of his hands, the spinal cord suffering, and the strong itching were gone. Robert Schindele is attributing this to the strong retrograde property of the minerals. This property makes it possible to interfere in the atomic crystal structure of the relatively small and high vibrating particles, changing it, helping to refract the vibration (radiation). The University of Vienna as well as the soviet Institute for Nuclear Physics of the Ukraine affirmed that Schindele's Minerals are an effective measure against radioactivity. This moved the russians to send a truck and collect two tons of stone flour after the Tchernobyl disaster.

    It would be very reasonable do bury the unlucky reactors of Fukushima under tons of this clockwise rotating stone flour and to do this also for contaminated landscapes. And of course one should also supply men and beast with this live essential minerals.


    Contents and effects

    The following list is only a shortened list of some of the content of "Schindele's Mineralien" and their effect on the body:

    • Silica: Silicon dioxide is the "primordial matter of life", integral part of the connective tissue. It makes it elastic, enhances cellular breathing and slows their aging. It aids the development of hairs, nails and muscles.

    • Potassium plays an important role in the cells and regulates, together with sodium, the water balance and the pH-value of the blood. It is important for the blood circulation of the heart muscles and keeps the heart going. It regulates the blood pressure, protects against heart attacks and supports the communication in the nerves.

    • Calcium nurtures bones and teeth. It protects bones and teeth from becoming fragile and brittle. It gives the body a "fresh" look.

    • Iron is essential for the production of blood and for the transport of oxygen to the body tissues where energy is produced from it. As you get high levels of iron by taking "Schindele's Mineralien" one shouldn't take additional iron supplements.

    • Zinc strengthens the cells and accelerates the metabolism. If there is a deficiency, wounds are often healing badly, hair is falling out and women can become infertile.

    • Molybdän increases virility.

    • Chromium reduces the blood pressure, expands the blood vessels, and regulates the fat level in the blood. It steers the fat and glucose metabolism.


    For Soil, Plant and Man

    A plant sufficiently supplied with all nutrients, can decide on itself whats good and whats bad for it. This means, it then takes not indiscriminately every mineral thats available. A plant with an optimum supply of minerals will not even take up radioactive contaminated nutrients or minerals. This applies also to human body cells.

    Experiments in Austria showed, that many forest rangers did not have to plant any trees by themselves anymore, as many trees were able to grow themselves directly from the seed. They observed that trees fertilized with minerals started to grow "thrust" like. Thrusts of 90 to 120 centimeters a year have been observed with assumed "dead" fir trees.

    The biologist Dr. Gernot Gräfe mixes the stone flour with an organic product of grape pomace and was able to make great areas of sterile landscape fertile again. Later on he developed a homeopathic spray (a kind of "etheric humus") to spray on the surface of polluted ponds and lakes. Thereby the water got back its original quality.

She was writing: "As I told you already a friend in south Tyrol was completely healed from his leukemia. It was confirmed to me this week by phone. Also a good friend of mine in the city of Kiel has survived her lung cancer very well. No tumors can be found anymore. The doctor was talking of a miracle. But after she showed him the sand, he reacted angrily and only said, that it cannot harm."

    • "My knee pains are gone, the prostate got smaller, and so on. Altogether we are very content and happy." (Mr. W.E.)

    • "The headaches are gone, the head is clearer. I don't have any problems concentrating anymore, my hair is not falling out anymore, and my nails are not brittle anymore." (Ms. H.B.)

    • "I take the minerals since two weeks now and I am very pleased when I look into the mirror - how beautiful my skin has become in this time and how velvety. Also, since one and a half year I had muscle pains all over my body. Since a week they are totally gone now." (Ms. V.B.)

    • "I am working as a freelancer in garage businesses since 35 years. And, often unavoidable, overloaded with a lot of work (stress), sometimes until the no-more-going point. After five, six days I reached the turning point. Digestion, well-being, appetite, efficiency, physical and psychic condition, all improved from day to day. Unbelievable, today after 7 weeks I could work again for 2o hours without fading in my impetus. My wife, brothers, sisters, children and customers noticed my regained vigor and especially my perseverance when I took "Schindele's Mineralien" and asked for an explanation of my body condition."
