Here and Now...What's Happening?

Cool Carmody, i used to be really attached to getting thanks for my posts,
thankfully i have let go of that one, it was making me
neurotic. It's appreciated for sure.
But I'm just happy when i can string two words together that make sense,
and that someone else seems to understand what the hell I'm trying to say, lol.

Made it back across the border from the Baja -had to go through 2 check points one at the port of entry and another about 20 miles in -a border patrol check point always a little nerve racking. Sense of relief to have cell reception and internet connection when I come bakc. Cannot come into or go out of San Diego County without going through a border patrol checkpoint -they are becoming more and more militant......

Had a good time with my Yaqui/Mayan friends and their family in the Baja. Always good to spend time with them; I went to a very large birthday party for one of the elders. Talk about the *Art of Dreaming and the Art of Stalking the Shadow* lol.

The book The Art of Dreaming by Carlos Casteneda is very good and any material by Don Juan Matus -both go in depths about dreaming and stalking our shadow -whether you take the plant way or not.

A very cold night on the mtn -trying to rain but too cold.

Ok, I will risk revealing what was in this post. Last night, I had a question for 1inmany. I was surprised about the fairy tale sounding ready made garden and orchard she found after the worst drought in since 1895, most lakes in the area dried up, and bans on watering. Then, I thought my question impolite. It is not my area of expertise, and really none of my business, so I removed it.

(I will admit to sipping a couple of beers in an attempt to cheer up, too.)

Dreams are not my thing. I do not like them. Whether good or bad, I wish I never dreamed. This world is hard enough to decipher, I don't need another level of confusion to add to the mess.
I wasn't gonna post, not in the best of moods. But a direct question always deserves a reply.

And I will add, I smoke herb to make sure I do not remember my dreams. That, and without it I'd go ballistic.
I quit again, not willingly, just last week, no money...

Desiring clarity from the bottom of your heart might bring some positive results....

Oh, Rose, I am so sorry you needed cheering up because of the way I described where we hope to be moving soon.

Here and Now...am very, very aware of my 3d surroundings. I am noticing many more noises than usual in the same little spot, yes the clock on the wall tick tocking, yes the space heater humming, but the freezer, another clock somewhere in this room, and even the hum of the 2 computers. I hear leaves crackling and trees blowing. There are seven, yes seven, police cars sitting on my street, starting at 3 doors down. There are likely as many on the next street over. Swat was called, armored vehicles...police officers are wearing vests and are carrying guns that look like the ones in the movies, like machine guns though from what I hear they do not fire in rapid succession, and are quieter than one would expect. So far 7 shots. "Suspects" are finally coming out of the house, there is a baby in that house. Please, please do not hurt that baby. He's walking but still wobbly. It's midnight, and this has been going on ever since the 2 big black guys screeched down the street, jumped out with guns drawn and ran up to my brother, standing outside, and asked if he heard something. Another gunshot. It's been about 3 hours now.

Police came and then more police, more of them, and so many. Boom. What the heck? Police knocked on their door and though we had seen the men go in the house and shut the garage door, they would not come to the door. What is going on in a house where there are men with guns who will not answer the door with police? Overhearing some of the radio communications, and gunshots, and swat...big time gang/drugs...the cartel kind? We've been able to surmise yes for the big league, but who knows how big. How many police officers should it take to clear a 3 bedroom house inhabited by 2 men, a woman, and a baby?

No wonder I am being driven away from this place. No wonder the energies are so negative. No wonder I'm blocked with just bits of clarity and peek-a-boos of light. No wonder I feel claustrophobic. No wonder the new place is falling together. I see now, it has to. My children have been sleeping only feet away from this. My grandbaby plays outside only feet away from this. How can an angel open her wings and fly in this...

It is odd that I am okay. Things don't get to me like they used to. I'm not nervous or scared, it's more of an eye opener. Though I wasn't questioning why I wanted to get the hell out of here, I guess I needed a verification that this is the right decision.

Ummm, I'm pretty sure Don Juan Matus is dead.
Atleast this is what Carlos said. And Carlos mentioned in an interview that he wasn't giving any love to the perpetraters like Louis Miguel Ruiz.
Lots of folks out there looking to make a buck, and Carlos did such an awesome job with his books that one can disect them and regurgitate them.
