    I'll play.......is it ...F

I'm saying that because of how bright and shiny Venus is to the naked eye, I've never looked at it through a telescope.

    Well here is a hint:

The Galileo spacecraft snapped this colorized image of Venus in February 1990 at a range of almost 1.7 million miles from earth.
One might ask, I wonder what our own planet would look like at that distance as well.

Venus sure looks quite similar to earth.

The point that I am hoping to make to other members here is that all our information about the Universe around us, comes from NASA.
If NASA fails to provide us with Truth, than we really are at a huge disadvantage.

Co-incidently I came across this link on another forum, a couple of hours ago.

    http://en.ria.ru/science/20120120/170865269.html

Quote An article published in the Solar System Research magazine reported Several objects resembling living beings were detected on photos made by a Russian landing probe in 1982 during a Venus mission.

Leonid Ksanfomaliti of the Space Research Institute of Russia’s Academy of Sciences published research that analyzed the photos from the Venus mission made by a Soviet landing probe, Venus-13, in 1982.

The photos feature several objects, which Ksanfomaliti said, resembled “a disk,” “a black flap” and “a scorpion.” All of them “emerge, fluctuate and disappear,” the scientist said, referring to their changing location on different photos and traces on the ground.

"What if we forget about the current theories about the nonexistence of life on Venus, let’s boldly suggest that the objects’ morphological features would allow us to say that they are living,” Solar System Research quoted Ksanfomaliti as saying.

No data proving the existence of life on Venus, where the ground temperature is 464 degrees Celsius (867 degrees Fahrenheit), has ever been found.

These links may also be useful....even though one is in Russian

There's a close up pic of 'something'......????

The correct answer to your question is B. Venus is wrapped in white clouds of methane which is part of the reason it is so bright in our sky. The other images are surface maps done by radar and pictures taken in different wavelengths. The blue image taken by Galileo for instance was in the violet wavelength.

Also the artifacts in the Russian images are the parts of the landing craft itself. Russia dropped a lander on Venus and it sent back images until it melted from the heat and pressure.

I agree with your point that NASA lies about pretty much everything, especially concerning the Moon and Mars, but in this case I think you're insinuating a conspiracy to confuse when there really isn't.

I wonder if Venus is actually as hot as it is said to be...WHEN YOU ARE THERE ?

Or when the Landing Craft is there?

Or are the the conditions that exist on Venus...like that, only when viewed from our perception, when viewed from our time/space light-frequency position in the Solar System?

In this video Bruce Cathie talks about the changing speed of light and time...

    at 4:44 he says....

"....every planet you go to the speed of light is different, time is different, and you go to a planet like Jupiter which to us is a gaseous planet. In reality we are seeing a gaseous planet but if you got on Jupiter that same minute of arc value in those equations is exactly the same, works out exactly the same - but has a different time base - and the geometrics are different and you'd be different if you were there. You'd be more nebulous - but to you, you might appear solid - so what we see is not quite true - and this is the way everything is working - it's marvelous really"

I love Bruce Cathie. He is an absolute gem of a man.

This is a really good question. Anyone who has read the Law of One material from Carla Ruckert might recall that RA claims to be a civilization that evolved on Venus following the service to others (radiating love) path. (maybe this is why we associate Venus with love)

When asked about the conditions we perceive on Venus RA indicated that in different dimensions the planets are perceived differently, and that all are conscious including the Sun.

cheers for that WyoSeeker......I see there is a thread about 'life on Venus' now. Might put my Bruce Cathie post there sometime.

What a laugh, eh...if while we are all focussing (more or less) on the Moon and Mars...that all sorts of 'stuff' is going on, on Venus.

Perhaps we should pay more attention to our nearest neighbour.....

All pictures are real. A, C and D are radar pictures, the other ones are made with an optical telescope. So, if you use a normal telescope you will not see the surface of the planet, you will just the cloud cover.

If I remember correctly, either Venus or Uranus and Mercury used to be moons of one of the other planets in our system at one time. I just can't remember which of the three was which.
