Here and Now...What's Happening?

[Calz]

Sheesh ... how can I keep up my "battle" abroad and stay current here (and now)???

So many paradoxes in life to contemplate.

[don't ask how the battle goes ... always the minnow swimming among sharks]

[one would think I would be smart enough to move away from that???]

[9eagle9]

After several times nearly reporting a post instead of thanking it I can see how a inadvertent thread closing should occur.

Thanks Paul.
And Sierra, would you meet me in my office, please???

Yes, ma'am! <running to ulli's skype office ... >

Grrr ... more secret under cover conspiracy stuff going on ...

On the contrary, my dear Calz.
You weren't here when Sierra closed the thread (sigh, again!...) and had all the Villagers running around the outside wall, looking for an unlocked entrance.
After having to get Paul the Cow interrupt his lunch and go rummaging for the keys the first thought was public chastisement, but then I decided to be merciful and so she was spared the humiliation.

Knowing how some of you feel about the moderators the punishment could have gotten out of control. I thought that Sierra's faux-pas, although serious, did not warrant a lynching.
So I wanted to spare her that...that's all....

Haa...! Very funny. I have more stories to tell

No doubt about it!! What are you waiting for??

The village is ***WAY*** overdue for more joketime!!!

Passing the torch as I have yet again sleepy time arriving (after a 70 hour work week I am empowered ...)

but ...

I'll be back ...

You can always try to rise above it and become a Flying Fish.

Or better still, crawl onto a beach and keep walking until you come to a fork in the road.

Then make your choice

and, hey! Good luck, Buddy!!

Same **** different life.

[modwiz]

Here and now I will experiment with posting in this thread only. I have been politely asked to remove my testicles and dragon wings while posting 'out there' where sensitivities are more pronounced and intelligence is.........different. I say out there because in the Village the communication is rich and ideas and humor mix together easily and tough love is still seen as love and not attack. We have created a rarefied environment here and I have to be mindful as I do in my outer life, that I am safe in my home but must adopt an acceptable persona and play a game every time I go outside my door.
Games can be fun, some really suck and are boring.

Saturn Mercury square, I can do this.

I really didn't have much of a choice.
I'm sure you would have done exactly the same...
after all, this red letter person has a WAND

Standing with wand ... making first pass ... oops ... <dunking head in birdbath> Oh well, I wanted to get my hair cut anyway.

<patting a stray flame off the poor chickadee>

[Sierra]

Damn! Did it again! Stupid wand! Thank you Modwiz! <trotting off to go hide in apps where she can't keep closing threads ... >

Saturn Mercury square, I can do this.

Look like nothing's gonna change
Everything still remains the same
I can't do what ten people tell me to do
So I guess I'll remain the same, yes

I find myself singing that song very often. I can do the voicing fairly well.

Sierra, I closed the village by accident once too. Modwiz came to my rescue and I got it opened again before anyone else noticed. (I think)

You do it with such style! Love your wand. I have one I made in the 80's, copper with a crystal at the end. It's in my witch box... I should get it out and decorate it a little.

[Carmody]

If I was to make a wand..I'd have to make the crystal first.

And I DO know how to do that.

However......there are 'issues' with such 'making'. Some don't like it.

The basics or fundamental came out of or went public from Lawrence Livermore labs... about 10 years back.

But no-one has put the 'technique' and 'Atlantean power crystal' in the same room at the same time..until right now.

The technique would have to be refined a bit, in a specific way..but it's all there.

It's back.

[modwiz]

Here and now talking to my son on Skype and got this pic of him.

[1inMany]

Here and Now...that presidential debate crap is playing again...I'm wondering if this is a daily thing. *sigh* Unfortunately, I'm learning something through the very noise I've been complaining about. *double sigh* Oh dear, dare I say this out loud? I like Ron Paul! Who would have thought...

[9eagle9]

Just to be very very clear, I for one apprecitate dragon balls and wings intact as part of a authentic expression...who you really are is far more compelling than the restraint issued to keep the herd from stampeding. Let them stampede. They need the excercize.

it was cool. I managed to get some dead on accurate info with nothing to work on
but a name age and location.
Very cool indeed.

Starving now though i need to go recharge myself.

Hope everyone is doing ok,
