what you posit there is someplace else entirely, carmody. someplace for folks to go once they've reached the stage of their personal evolution whereby they understand the reason why all you state is necessary and cull such behaviors, thought processes and patterns from themselves. sounds like ascension.

Everything I speak about is a direct reflection of the ego. Ego can be dissolved. I agree with you, Carmody. On everything.
Where there is ego present there is duality perception. The moment it's out of the way, like 100%, the other reality, the one where everything is perfect, becomes apparent.
And things don't really change, at all times there have been people with huge egos and no chance of stepping outside of duality, and others with zero, and they had the big picture.
I was thinking of some Bahai magazines from 1913, where in a letter Abdu'l-Baha revealed something that was always seen as evidence of a future pole shift. Of course being in apocalyptic mode I also bought into it, and thought he meant the year 2000, (at that time it was our 2012)
Yet here I still am.
It is now 2012, and those magazines are now online, in English and Persian.
And I even found the Tablet. The language has changed, but little else.
This may be a bit long for some so I will bold the text that has what I used to consider the 'juice'.
The part that gets to me today I marked in Blue. Just for the record...I never even read that last paragraph consciously before, until now.

On the other hand thou wilt hear that from every house strains of music are raised, and confusing melodies of harp, lyre, cymbal and flute are heard, and mad revellers are dancing to the tunes, while they are inebriated with the wine of vanishing pleasures. In one place thou wilt behold the wanton and soiled decorations, and in another the flimsy shows of the gilded class of creatures. On the one hand is to be seen the embellishment and luxury made possible through illicit wealth, and on the other hand, the ravishing of this mortal world of its beautiful appearance.

From different parts are to be heard sighs of anguish, lamentations of poverty, cries of agony and misery,—and the calls for succor have reached to the gate of heaven. One hears the weeping of the hopeless, the appeals of the oppressed, the trembling murmurs of the helpless and the harrowing wails of the ship-wrecked in the sea of persecution. The heat of the conflagration of separation spreads on all sides, the fire of longing is raging with great intensity and the tongues of the flames of calamity leap forth in every direction. Here one sees the oppression of kings and the thoughtlessness of cabinet ministers; there one sees conflict on the battle field of thoughts and ideals by ambitious generals, statesmen and administrators of the nations and countries. They consult, scheme, plot and exchange views; they organize falacious and superfluous companies and make false the established values; and thus do they lay and destroy the foundation of their political careers.

In short: when thou observest these things with the eye of reality, thou wilt see that the outcome, result and fruit of all these theatrical performances are mirages and their sweetness is bitter poison. A few days the earth shall roll on its axis, and these fleeting visions will be completely forgotten.

When thou shuttest thine eyes to this dark world and lookest upward and heavenward, thou wilt see light upon light stretching from eternity to eternity. The reality of the mysteries will be revealed. Happy is the pure soul who does not attach himself to the transient conditions and comforts, but rather seeks to attach himself to the purity, nobility and splendor of the world which endures.

Another example of eternal truth...channeling from 1977...Cosmic Awareness...
I've quoted part of this before, but your post needed extra emphasis, so here is a larger morsel.
The most astonishing sentence in ORANGE BOLD.
During the “Cosmic Celebration” at York, Pa, in November 1977, producer Jan Pachul of Television station YCAT-TV in York asked the interpreter, Paul Shockley, if he would do an interview on his TV station and perhaps even a trance session. Paul consented.

This readings is the first of two readings which were given on television, the second one on the following day. The producer, evidently impressed by what was happening, allowed the trance to continue even when the allotted time was up, pre-empting several other programs. This reading which follows is the “first”–never before had a Cosmic Awareness trance been given over this medium. My turning into a stork today does not mean I have gone off cats. I needed wings, to become more mobile.
Your kittens are so cute.
My Easter kitten is fully grown now and finally became friends with the older cat. They look alike now.
They are so spoilt in this climate that even a bit of rain and temperatures dropping down to the sixties drive them inside.
If they had to live where you are they would never leave their electric blanket.

In 1977, in the USA , that would have probably have been in the original quadrillonth terms, which at the time meant the same as 'yotta', which is a 1 with 24 zeros (current form is quadrillion meaning 15 zeros).

Thus, as compared to the speed of light and how we transform such, that would be 'light'..traveling... 0.0000000749481145 of a nanometer. whoops. I thought in terms of 1/4, not a 4 multiplier. so....

It is 22:34. There is slight wind outside, I hear it stirring a loose flap of paper on my balcony (under the bird house).
It is bitterly cold, and there is a moon with a blurry iridescent halo around it illuminating the night and the patches of thin snow around the house.

I've just finished eating Snickers ice cream (a very rare treat :-)), now I am having a sip of cool coffe with a dash of cinammon and I am browsing through PA.

In a few moments, I'll be starting work.

The very idea of projection of emotions as a feeling derived push (originating from the avatar), into any of this, that has to go.

Don't just seek detachment, achieve it through total knowing and being of what the system of incarnation actually is.

This reminded me of an experience I had a few years ago -around 2006. The answer to my question that I was denying my-self, -my-self Love. At the time, of course I was a mess -so I screamed a question to my inner most self, and the Universe "what I am doing?" "I am doing everything I am suppose to be doing." "and I am missing something please what I am I missing?" and a huge beautiful bright multi-colored pink undulating diamond shape energy sphere appeared in front of me. Oh -it was the most beautiful, loving, gentle intelligent being I had ever seen.

Don't worry about the eternal youth part, you will still be pretty. I have skyped with you in all kinds of light. Be confident and stand up straight. Posture helps tremendously.

On a similar note: Whilst perusing my photos during the day I put a bunch up I saw a lot that captured me in a most flattering light. I could allow myself to rue that certain 'powers' have been lost to me, but that would be silly. I am a much better person now than then, so it seems that being who I am now comes with looking like I do now. I'll take who I am now over how I looked then. I won't agonize over the 'if I could only combine that body with this spirit' mindfark either.

Just have a good Buddha-field and help people upgrade their DNA.

You are a very kind person Rahkyt and are making room for the many excuses people give for not just getting on with it. You are enabling them is an sense, IMO. I believe the situation is as it was 2000 years ago when message delivered (Jesus?) was "the kingdom is at hand". The tools were given then to enter this kingdom, which is this planet with people acting like adults instead of perpetually wounded and sulking children. Forgiveness was the corner stone of this kingdom because it is the healer of all wounds. So Carmody positing his ideas is not really someplace else, but here and now with humanity giving up its penchant for playing in its' poop. The solution may be more than 2000 years old, but the ideas in the NT allow us to know that it is at least this old.
