Here and now I wonder if I am one of a handful of people who do not post while drinking. I often get replies and exchanges with English speaking people that seem like some translation has been lost. It reminds me of when I was a sober bartender. Tends to take the whole point out of a conversation. I am being not kidding either.
    The Village has spoken.....

A -fluent = lost in translation -no dry martinis in the Village please.

I haven't touched a drop of anything in over 5 year...... and no way....

The Village is not the real problem. Sometimes, I wonder, but it was 'out there' that prompted my post. Since I rarely complain to rant, it seemed OK to let some frustration out here.
I think that alcohol is not the problem. The problem is HOW you react with.

...and thanks for saying "...english speaking people..." i though -"the teacher will reprimand me".
I completely disagree mi amigo. Alcohol makes people retarded, especially after two servings. They cannot see it either. Being completely sober allows one to observe what are often subtle differences. Ego and the avatar/animal, that likes libations, works hard to ignore these fine lines of consciousness as it might get in the way of the next 'session'. Dealing with such things is a casualty of sobriety and such things create a casualty of civilization in general. IMO. An opinion about as welcome as a fart in a car. A hermits opinion to be sure.

Can I ask a question,to all that are on the subject of guitars right now and their meanings,-"Black Alfed" has been called, unbelievably Beautiful~crazy beautiful~and refered to as a she,and in the same sentence as UN LUGAR SOLITAIO,my spelling may be wrong ,but can someone help me to understand here... Thank You
Un lugar solitario -probably Italian for a solitary place -so in reference to the guitar -in a class of its own. References to "she" or unbelievably beautiful crazy beautiful used metaphorically to something either ascetically beautiful or speaks to your soul and spirit or bothe.

Edit -Un lugar solitario also could mean -takes you to that one place -the beyond-

    Nora
Yes, UN LUGAR SOLITARIO. I don't understand your question properly.
A Solitary Place... be yourself, listen to yourself, don't listen to anyone without your permission.... i don't know

And I think you are both right , individual body
chemistry and tolerance does play a part IMHO

I muscle tested this issue pour moi and I got told
repeatedly that a small amount agrees with my
particular make up . Maybe it's one thing my family
did right we always had a glass with our meal, I found
for me that it helped with digestion. The moderation
Idea of course being the key here, I know one glass only
would be tough for most . In Aus the whole binge drinking
falling over style is common place and so culturally
acceptable that it's entrenched as being totally fine.
    It's a sad state of affairs .

The way I grew up to think of food and wine being
together is more European than here where people
Just drink with sole purpose of getting as wasted as
possible and falling down. It's pretty sad

I am using your post to make sure I am understood. This is not directed at you. My point was about using the forum and interacting with others while 'not right in the head'. I think some of the turmoil in the forum comes from this problem. Actually, I am very sure of it. We are dealing with issues that demand high intellect and spirituality and low emotional input. A drug like alcohol completely inverts that formula. Take it from the Hanged Man. I can see what's inverted. LOL

Alcohol use is one of the silent problems with any of these forums.

TY. One more clarification. I am not saying don't drink. I was saying don't drink and engage in meaningful and important issues that require emotional clarity and the ability to not feel slighted so easily in the already difficult communication medium of the written word.

RIP.. Said Zecri. We will never forget you.

One of my clients froze to death all alone in the night, very close to the homelessshelter where i work, he was drinking to stay warm and not want to disturb the peace in the shelter that night but fell asleep, it was minus 17 celsius. His dog Susi is missing since. Said was addicted to drugs and alcohol and had a very hard life and lost more to life than any human being could possibly endure and it got the better of him this time.

The people in the video are living in the shelter and are all friends of him. Said shared everything with everybody although he had very little to share, nevertheless he did, always. He will be missed by many people.

It was a sad week for everybody, another client stept in front of a train to end his life.

Sometimes i hate life and what it does to the most vulnarable of us and really dont understand any of it, i hope Said has peace now and his loved ones waited for him on the other side.

I miss you, you crazy drunk funny dumbass.

    Rest In Peace.

Before I go into hermit mode and just lurk in the Village for a while I think it might be helpful to share something a little personal about myself. I am an alcoholic and have twice almost drunk myself to death. FWIW

Before I go into hermit mode and just lurk in the Village for a while I think it might be helpful to share something a little personal about myself. I am an alcoholic and have twice almost drunk myself to death. FWIW
FWIW, I am glad you are here now

If you do it again i will come and punch you in the nose with all the love and best intentions i can find in my sweet little heart. I do this only when words run out, just because i care. I am prepared to travel.

Kudos for being alive and surviving twice, you have done well then, old young wizard.

I share your experiences.( the punches were not subtle, but it was love nevertheless and it helped when nothing else did).

The love came later and is still here.
