I live sandwiched between two gun ranges. I hear constant gunfire, in the summer and on clear days.

I also look at deer and wild turkey in the back yard, usually once a week. No hunting is allowed in the area... and the deer and turkey live safely right next to the gun ranges.

The landlord, who lives next door, he and I have to keep an eye on people who try and park their cars in the area.... and go into the woods and do some illegal hunting.

Dave was just the best. What a card, what a ham. When he left the band, well... that was it.

I ran into Dave and the Van Halen boys, from their first album..right when I was peakin' on my first experience with Purple Mic. Whoa!

I always try to remember to watch the 'space weather' and to remember to read the astrology of the given time..ahead of time. In that way it's like having a seatbelt and the ability to tone the roller coaster down and I'm also not riding it with a blindfold on. Makes a big difference.

Nobody worked harder on his riffs and guitar sounds than Tony Iommi of Black Sabbath fame. Granted, lots of over tracks and gizmos, impossible to get right in concert. But they never went commercial, gotta give em' points for that.

Spent quite a few hours today scouring this ('Wild Cat') mountain for my cat...to no avail. He is off. Gone now for 48 hours. Not a good sign.
Ended up meeting one of my 'neighbors', a young man in his mid-20's, who had lost his two dogs the night before. These dogs
have been his companions for almost 13 years and he was understandably, emotionally upset. We ended up having an amazing
conversation amidst our respective (potential) loss, and agreed that we would meet up in the morning and search together (as
I have a very necessary 4x4 to navigate the logging roads here).

So, a half an hour ago he shows up at my door with a cat in his arms. Not mine! He was so excited at thinking he had located my
cat. Here and now, a totally new cat lies at my feet. Strange. Contemplating the enigma.

Here and Now...something is up. I'm feeling rather odd putting it into words, but I know I'm not crazy. A little off I am, but not totally nuts. Last night I became depressed, felt very alone and isolated, and slid so low that I even contemplated ... moving on. I do not remember ever contemplating that before. Ever. During this weird episode, I got the message I posted...about darkness trying to hide my spirit or something or other...from someone close to me. The message led to me contemplating darkness and what it is...how it would go about trying to hide my spirit, why it would do so, etc., etc. When I awoke this morning, I got Em off to school and immediately went back to bed. I got up at noon and felt almost myself. A couple hours later I heard the show Paranormal on TV, and it caught my attention for a moment. The guy, whoever he is...the main guy on the show...was in a house and was talking into the camera, blah blah blah. But then he said that all of a sudden he felt alone and isolated and he felt sudden sadness and confusion and disorientation...and it resonated so strongly with me as the perfect description of how I was feeling last night.

Fast forward to after dinner this evening...My older daughter was blaring her music, and I peeped in her bedroom and plopped on the bed. She said that for some unknown reason, every day for about the last week she feels depressed and alone and feels like just withdrawing...that or biting everyone's heads off...at the same time. This made me start reeallllly thinking. Then, my younger daughter's mood catches my attention. For the past few days, she comes home from school deliriously happy, but right before bedtime starts pushing everyone's buttons...slams doors, yells & shouts, loses control...

Is anyone seeing any connection here? Because, truly I could be trying to connect dots that aren't even on the same page. But, if these incidents are connected, then I need to find out why. Then I HAVE to do something to stop this.

I took a nice salt bath today, and was able to keep the energy around here a little more stable by keeping my kids laughing. But a sudden change was still apparent, just not as severe.

Now, mind you, I must say I am NOT worried or scared or panicked. But honestly I am a little concerned. I can't imagine there would be any "one" targeting me/my family. That is almost unfathomable. I'm dumbfounded. I did think of saging my house, I do have some sage, but for cripey's sake I've never really done that before, and I don't have much confidence.

I'm pouring all this out because I respect you all as...more...advanced? or maybe stronger? spiritually than I am, you all know I do. And I need some help here. Please share...whatcha got?
