RedeZra to be clear the fruits I spoke of are ongoing.
Millions have been killed and this slaughter has been justified by, in particular The Old Testament.
The Bible has done an amazing job of establishing duality consciousness--- Them and us. We are the people!!!!!!
Jesus on the other hand spoke of the kingdom of heaven being in all without exception.
Fair enough some wont even look but that their free will.
That is not God being judgmental.
Its a big mistake to put human traits on God--- that is limiting the limitless--- which is unlimited LOVE.

There is actually zero evidence to support a great flood. Ice, sediment samples have shown nothing in the last 11,000 years at least. Also tree rings give no indication either. There is some evidence that there was a flood from the black sea but the sudden magnitude is debatable. There is a very plausible answer to the rise of the flood myths, in that fossils of sea creatures were found on land by people, in particular mountains, and they assumed the only way they could get there is through a massive flood, which is a perfectly logical explanation if you are ignorant of geology. This logic is still being applied today by some but alas has been proven wrong.

Im saying, they think "We are the people" (ulliminate)---
They dont think we are worth bothering about.
The big problem is everyone thinks they are right, everyone can justify their actions.
    Thats duality.
    Thats the fall in consciousness.
    Thats ego---
The apple led to seeing the differences.
    Unity was lost.
Im all for keeping it Simple

Red please take a look at the video I linked on post 744.
Its not taking away from what your saying but the video does give a spiritual and scientific perspective to some possibility for the future --- some very positive though he is clear that this is make it or perish time for the human race.
Sometimes its healthy to get away from the main focus of attention at least for a short break

I have to agree Red Darwinian evo isn't complete but there is no reason god and evolution cannot exist together. And there is definitely no reason to teach the alternative genesis version of creation because it is so clearly not true. What we must teach is the great mystery, get people to think for themselves and logically fill in the gaps materialistic science cannot explain. There are many areas ripe for evaluation like the missing link, the Leibniz riddle, quantum mechanics and so forth........
It is not the scientists that are out to control our minds it is the old power dynasties many of whom have much invested with the book you promote as gospel, to suggest a scientist are out to pervert objective truth is madness and steeped in paranoia. They do their damnedest to subvert subjective truth if it somehow interferes with the money flow and are more than willing to keep their mouths shut about certain things but that is mainly because of the church and that damn bible again. Science, religion and philosophy need to find some common ground if we are to move forward in any possible way. Nassim Haramein is doing a good job of it thanks for graybeard for posting. Devolutionary memes like the bible have plagued mans intellect, it's time to move on for the sake of progression.

    Default Re: The Bible

Quote Exactly. The story of Adam and eve is based on faith not reason and science, it will get you nowhere in a hurry. My argument is not philosophical nonsense, I have given valid questions that the church cannot answer. Specifically original sin. knowledge is evil? Not listening to God is Evil? To be good according to genesis is to be unaware of our very nature. It is mind control, and look how effective it has been. It has created an unimaginable shadow of guilt and doubt. The very thing psychoanalysis defines as unhealthy. That's the biggest problem with the bible that I realise you don't agree with. But what perplexes me is why people go back to it time and time again looking for truth. The damage it has caused along with the other versions of god's word is without parallel. Do we really need Christ that bad? So bad we are willing to endure this backwards drama of literal hell. We cling to a saviour like we are baby monkeys clinging to our mother. Faith in Christ will wash our sins is the essence of it. That is a very dangerous concept. Love thy god with all your heart and love thy neighbour. What about me? God doesn't want us to love ourselves we are infantile compared to his perfection. Psychologically damaging beliefs are the root of evil. Is this not the truth of the bible and all bibles to boot? Is the story of genesis really that valuable to warrant all the suffering and strife? Even if there is a minute nugget of truth in genesis it is a Pandoras box. The claim for absolute truth is the original sin. And it is a sin man does to man for the gain of power. Knowledge is power, power is control.
Ok now we have some common ground here and I`m glad that you are getting what I am speaking about.
But I have to be even more clearer here, you question rightly the Church wrong doings.
But you then place that Bible was responsible for Church doings.
    That`s not true.
Leaders of Churches claimed Bible told them so and so when if fact that was a blunt lie to masses in order to awe them with "god".
Majority of church leaders were power hungry monsters. They became monsters because of their inner desire to control others with various means and what`s the best way?
Impose yourself as God`s voice and mediator.
Hence you have the "holiness and power from heaven" in your eyes and in people`s eyes.

Reality is that you are then an impostor and fraud.

Bible and God has nothing to do with you.

All that ever religions did was betraying people in the name of God.
Killing in the name of as Zack De la Rocha sang...

OT was a prep for masses of fallen consciously people so they could clearly understand that what you cause that you reap.
If you kill - you will be killed- eye for an eye type of writing.

And it was necessary for people to see what they became in duality.
Christ came to liberate people from their own fallen view.

Christ is a concept not a blind following cult as impostors turned it into.
Christed one is holy one and in unity with Creator .

Christed one has all the knowledge and becomes Love.
Did you know that when reading the New Testament you find that in one point all abandoned Christ because of fear of persecution by religious establishment?

    All succumbed to fear .

Same is today when comes a moment of faith will you trust the world`s establishment or have a leap of faith into eternity.

I am glad that we`re peeling off the fear layers today and jumping into eternity one by one.

    • If the Bible were the absolute word of God, as has been asserted by many members in this thread.
    • And, it was never manipulated for political reasons - as in the model I've been proposing.
    • Than why didn't God, in all his wisdom, foresee the archeological evidence being reported in this video:

    This all goes to what I proposed in my reply #668, here;

I see no reason to address what Farrell has written about the Nephilim in a discussion about the moral character of Yahweh. But if you insist:

I've read a good many of Farrell's books, but I couldn't say exactly which one this was in. Farrell does not index his work. In one of his books, (I think it was in Genes, Giants, Monsters, and Men) Farrell speaks of the Tabernacle, the tent that was constructed by the Hebrews to house the Arc of the Covenant while wandering in the desert. One of the rooms in that Tabernacle was reserved for Yahweh to occupy.

The proportions of that room and the furnishings within that tabernacle could only be intended for the occupancy of a giant. The dimensions are given in one of the verses of the Old Testament.

There is mention in one of the verses of Exodus regarding Yahweh spending time in this room. In reference to that verse, here's a real act of unconditional love for you. On the day Yahweh made Aaron the head Levite, and during a celebration for that nomination, ol'Yahweh decides to crispy-fry his best man's two sons.

In other words, Farrell is suggesting that Yahweh is a Giant much like the Nephilim were Giants.

It`s inevitable that reason ,logic ,science ,spirituality,Love and everything else join forces for they are of One.
It`s we humans that separate them in our ignorance.
Science ,religion and philosophy are in core united in Creator.

Take Christ`s example , he was all of that.
He simply knew the core of the science and knew how to bend energy to heal, feed, bend physical laws according to his will.
He knew all philosophy and he taught what religion should be a tool towards God ,then when you reach God you leave the tool on its rightful place and carry on further .

Why do you think Judaism leaders hated him so much?
He destroyed their whole false system of belief and corruption in all levels from spiritual to material.

Christ still destroys modern Churchianity system...
If they would live by Christ words ,every Church upon Earth would be utterly abandoned.

Every person would then became THE church themselves in unison with God.
Real Church according to Bible is the person unified with Christ thus with God in holy spirit.

Every one can be that and no one need middle men to achieve that.
Bible is a tool(one among many) in the becoming and eventually every tool will be left aside for time came for mastering the life and creative inherited power that we are and that we have.
Love, love - and see what happens

Just something for the members reading this thread to ponder....
Ponder is easy , Yahwe never physically lived among Israelites.
Whole tabernacle thing was a symbol to humans which do not grasp heavenly order of things so they must physically see the dwelling of God.
Of course God doesn`t dwell in man made structutres for God is a spirit and not physical being by nature.

And of course archeological proofs are many and all foreseen by God but as you know there are two parties , ones who claim everything against God is findings and ones who claim everything for God in findings.

    Which one you trust?

It`s all about some think or suggest or speculate that Bible is this or that or who said what.
All we do is endlessly speculate through our human filters of lower understanding.

Here`s one OT pearl for you - see what God actually thought about Israel`s works and deeds:

    Amos 5

10Israel, you hate anyone who speaks out against injustice.
You are disgusted by anyone who speaks the truth.
    11You trample on the poor
and take their wheat from them for taxes.
That is why you build houses from hand-cut stones,
but you will not live in them.
    You plant beautiful vineyards,
but you will not drink their wine.
12I know that your crimes are numerous and your sins are many.
You oppress the righteous by taking bribes.
You deny the needy access to the courts.
13That is why a wise person remains silent at such times,
because those times are so evil.
14Search for good instead of evil so that you may live.

    And also

21I hate your festivals; I despise them.
I’m not pleased with your religious assemblies.
22Even though you bring me burnt offerings and grain offerings,
    I won’t accept them.
I won’t even look at the fellowship offerings of your choicest animals.
23Spare me the sound of your songs.
I won’t listen to the music of your harps.
24But let justice flow like a river
and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.

25Did you bring me sacrifices and grain offerings
in the desert for 40 years, nation of Israel?

26You carried along the statues of the god Sikkuth as your king
    and the star Kiyyun,
the gods you made for yourselves.

Here lies the key words for almost whole OT- straight from God...

In one interpretation (I don't recall which version) Yahweh was said to be standing in the door to the tabernacle when this occurred:

    (King James Version)
    Leviticus 9
    22. And Aaron lifted up his hand toward the people, and blessed them, and came down from offering of the sin offering, and the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
    23. And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of the congregation, and came out, and blessed the people: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the people.
    24. And there came a fire out from before the LORD, and consumed upon the altar the burnt offering and the fat: which when all the people saw, they shouted, and fell on their faces.

    Leviticus 10
    1. And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.
    2. And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

This sounds an awful lot to me like Yahweh was present in the tabernacle.

    Yes but in spirit.
As you know language in Bible is mostly archaic that we don`t use today so exploring the meaning of the original languages is a handy one.
Hence when in that translation of Bible stated that Yahwe was there , it was but not in body (God is everything and is spirit so why God would need a particular body).

Everything that Israelites lived though was a great symbol of the spiritual world so later on when the were able to understand more ,clearer the picture will be.

Columns of fire and clouds of smoke are energy presentations easily done when you know how.
When you are at God`s level of existence you can take any form you wish for in order to be understood by current population.
