correction: 'i think that anything that holds any real spiritual importance will *seem* (not *seems*) vague and ambiguous in 3d. (spelling errors just embarrass the hell outta me...kind of ironic for a guy who writes in all lower case, eh?))

yes, less is often better, which is why i really like your 'words of wisdom in 4 words or less' thread (paraphrased thread title, of course lol. what was it called again?) i would have loved to contribute but i couldn't think of any words of wisdom in 4 words or less

i know i'm getting just a bit wiser in my now 34th year, because i no longer ramble endlessly in a futile attempt to convey esoterica -- i seem to have a built-in 'shut the f up meter' that tells me i'm carrying on too long...speaking of which, it's blasting off on full volume at this very moment! time to shut up.

Have you ever studied the enneagrams? If believe you are a #5. The above point makes me think that. Other things too, like not a mainstream thinker; intelligent. Sees the world from a larger perspective.

A couple of summers ago, I decided that if I couldn't say what I understood/wanted in one sentence then I could not call it my own. So I came up with over 100 ways of finding your way back to the "Oneness of All". They were designed for different levels of understanding. Most brought me to silence.

I believe people don't have time or attention for lots of words on a page. I wonder if the writer's message would be heard in greater numbers if it was in smaller bites. I am guilty as charged, too. One area to work on for me is to remove adjective and adverbial phrases.

There a pluses and minus to all nine numbers. It's helps everyone understand who they are so they can then get on with the business at hand. The goal is to experience all numbers over a lifetime or cycle.

Some more are: Freud, Nietzchi, Emily Dickinson, Jean-Paul Sartre, Bobby Fisher and Tim Burton.

"Personality Types Using the Enneagram for Self-Discovery," by Don Richard Riso

"Discovering the Enneagram: An Ancient Tool for a New Spiritual Journey," By: Richard Rohr and Andreas Ebert.

At Riso's site are the tests bubbles for a few dollars. Instruction come explaining how to tally. I feel like I'm pegging you with that number. Have a look at them all and decide. Each number brings a unique template. Once you understand the number, you let go of stuff.

well it's too late now -- i've fully embraced #5 WCBD, and if i were to find out i was actually a #4 or #3, i might be disappointed.

plus, since you've tagged and labeled me already, i no longer feel the need to seek my own counsel here; i'm quite lazy when it comes to quantifying myself with #'s, so i'm pleased you've done it for me ha! ha!

no, but in all seriousness i think i am a #5. thanks for the references above. you have my attention with this stuff. i'm gonna continue to look into it.

It takes a five to recognize a five. I'm a 5 with 4 wing. 4 is creative type and heart; 5 is the deep thinker. Nice visiting and say hello at the pub.

Old Clothes for a New Body Doesn’t Work: Time to choose whether you are on board with the part of humanity that is committed to this overhaul in wardrobe.

When you have a chance to see this from a broader perspective, you can let it all go. We each came in with a plan of action. A piece of a larger part to play. When you step out of the ego mind and allow the larger to unfold you never need ask - Why me? Why them? Only thank them for their bravery and their loving compassion for signing up to participate here on planet Earth.

All that is NOT Love is the human’s creation turned inside out. We, the mini-creators, are capable of great feats of Love. It is ego-mind that goes out of balance. It is invested in keeping it that way. Awareness is the key to drop the veil of illusion.

In reality there is nothing and no-thing to change. It’s all perfect. It’s human eyes that paint the perspective upon this canvas. So what are your colors? And do these colors influence others out of the illusions of the false?

    Peace Please,
    WhiteCrowBlackDeer
