Las Lajas Cathedral, built in 1916, is located in remote southwest Colombia, deep down in a gorge of the Guaitara River (close to Columbia’s border with Ecuador). This must be one the most fairy tale beautiful pilgrimage sites in the world. A scene of magic splendor, the cathedral clings precariously to the side of a sheer cliff, above a swiftly running river in a mountain gorge.

Changes in the workplace...today I get to come off the phones and do yoga on office time, which means I won't be targeted for it. We've also been getting free Indian head massages and we've got a reiki guy coming in next week! I'm also seeing fairer practices slowly creeping in and even the managers look relieved! i wish i had an epiphany concerning the alternative for me...
it's looooong over-over-overdue i get outa this. Damn slaving.
Still, i'm too good in that sth i don't really wanna do.
Just quit w/out alternative at hand means having to deal with the jobcenter Nazis - won't do that. Ever. Again.
It's: Either die in that 'job', or epiphany, and live... Yes, it's that bad. Now you know my wish.

Ok... ghost house it is then.
I just got approved.

The sad thing is that the owners of the place i am in,
came over today to measure up, and i overheard them saying that they
were going to rip out the garden and build an extension, how sad.
I have so loved this garden, its truly been a place of healing for me.
Such a tragedy that gardens are less and less valued these days.

Astrid, so it's final? Yippee! But sad about the garden where you are. I think houses have a consciousness, and I know gardens have beautiful devas who tend them on a non-physical level. These devas grieve (or their equivalent of grief) when people leave who have loved the place. When I've left a place, I've connected to these entities and said goodbye... similar to your way of gathering up all the pieces. I expect the ones around you will have an adjustment to see you go, even without dealing with the loss of the garden. Love to all.

Someone posted a brief video about Tom McArthur on Avalon before...about a year ago.
At the time I didn't bookmark the vid, although now I definitely will. I was quite upset that I lost it.
I can't believe you brought it here Meeradas.
While I was in Barbados I had trouble finding ripe Pawpaws. People say the monkeys eat them. Monkeys have become a plague in Barbados, destroying all the gardens.
But here in Costa Rica Pawpaws are abundant, and cheap. My wish is to follow Tom MacArthur's footsteps. We will plant trees on our land immediately.

Soon after seeing the part where he dips a burnt finger into his Pawpaw mush, I was at the beach and while swimming I got tangled in the fine blue coloured strings of a Portuguese-man-of-war, which is a type of jellyfish. Just being touched by those strings hurts like hell.
I rushed up the hill to our house trembling with the pain. We happened to have Pawpaw at home. I cut off a slice and rubbed the affected area. The pain was gone in seconds.
After that I changed my breakfast routine. I now only eat Pawpaw for breakfast. A large bowl full, with lime juice and a little honey. Every morning without fail.

Then last week I was stung by a wasp. A slice of Pawpaw took the pain away in an instant. So I was reminded of how wonderful this fruit is. Was planning on doing a proper search of the lost video.
And today, which is my first Wand Day, my wish became true the moment I woke up and read the thread.
Wand Day is promising to become Wow Day.

Hello, love and blessings to everyone else

My here and now - the sun is flooding through my window, bathing everything in golden light. Incense is burning and i'm sipping hot tea. I'm enjoying a moment of quiet aloneness with my dog, who is snoring. The blackbirds are feeding young in my garden as are the starlings too. I noticed wrens the other day, such beautiful tiny birds - i wonder were the nest is. Wrens are very special to me and i welcome them wholeheartedly. No work this afternoon so i plan to carry on with a blanket i'm working on, perhaps sitting outside whilst i do - if the weather holds. Also i need to weed around in my herb patch - the heavy rain has made everything grow. The blackcurrants are in flower and i already have tiny gooseberries that are starting to swell!

Both my children are doing exams for school/college at the moment, challenging times. I'm sure they'll be just fine though.

My inner work is still in progress and i feel i'm close to re-solution with this issue, so many layers and negative habit cycles are linked in with this, a lot to process and it's taken some time. I'm filled with a sense of calm and gratitude today for all the beauty in my life, especially the beauty that's prickly and hard to swallow.

First thing I thought of waking up is that today is Wand-Day. Made my wish, wrote it down. May all of our wishes come true.

Happy you found a home Astrid. Can't help but think that the nice energy that attracted the landlords to your home/their house will change rapidly and they will wonder what happened. So sad.

There will be many sunflowers in the Garden. The seeds go in tomorrow. They are calling for a couple of cool nights (5-6 C) tomorrow and Friday. Will need a blanket of protection over the Garden. The fairies are calling me, a couple of hours of work to do before the rain comes in.

Happy Wands Day!

A grey and cloudy morning on the lake. The little chipmunks that live in an old woodpile popped up to greet me as I came out to have coffee on the deck. Watching the two swans who have recently taken up residence with the ducks and herons, accompanied by the many different bird songs....hawk sailing the skies.

In the past few weeks have gone from extreme stress to peace. The leftovers from the stress needing to be released kept coming up to the surface...on the edge of tears that would not break forth....until I read the thread on the Elephant Whisperer. Ahhh, blessed relief as the tears flowed freely, cleansing and releasing.
