Oooooh, you just had to mention Ben and Jerry's, WCBD. On our third day of 90+ degree temperatures here and a nice, cold bowl of ice cream sounds so refreshing and yummy, I may just have to run out for some.

After a morning of sweltering heat. We had some Incredible storms with intense lightning and thunder here in The East. Things have gotten a little cooler since. The scorched greenery here in NY accepted this nourishing nectar from above drinking each raindrop with gratitude. The lightning drained my batteries a bit, but most sensational to watch the fireworks in the sky. God I Love The Delicate Sound Of Thunder. Its Time to sit back with a book and enjoy my blissful moments. Nature doesnt cost a thing. I like free vacations.

Wow, reaching back into the recesses of memory, I am remembering some things long forgotten.

They never frightened me...rather, they felt more of a comfort and delight than anything else. I have memory of a time at about 3 years of age attempting to get to sleep and trying to picture how large or small I was in comparison to this earth...after learning about planets that day. The energies began 'swarming', almost like a cluster of gnats, and I began to envision a large dark closet and I being a teeny tiny dust mote within it. The 'closet' grew until I could envision the vastness of space and universes, and I still was that teeny tiny dust mote within it. I have no words to explain the expansiveness I felt or how wonderful the feelings that I was a part of something so great.

After that first experience, I found I could recreate it on demand whenever I felt like I didn't belong, didn't fit in here.

Interesting.

That begs the question, was it the energies that led me to the envisioning or something else? If it was the energies, that would open up the possibility that they can communicate on some level.

LOL Back down memory lane. Going back that far, to the youngest ages, I have different experiences. What happened to me in Greece was at about the ages of 8 or 9 and it was the conjunction of the knowledge of shadow consciousness and sleep paralysis that began my life of insomnia. I`ve read descriptions by other people who have experienced it and describe it as the consciousness itself actually trying to kill them because that is what it feels like experientially. You sense a consciousness and, all of a sudden, your body starts to go numb. It seems as if it is coming from an outside source to a child. It exists in every culture. Some people call it the hag, a demonic visitation, evil ghosts, you name it. Mind you, I never read about these things until I was in my early 20s, imagine my surprise to find entire books about it. As I`ve mentioned elsewhere, Robert Monroe`s book, Journeys Out of the Body was like a bible to me for a while there. LOL

I understand now, through experience, that the two are separate. That there is sometimes a consciousness associated with the sleep paralysis, which is the precursor to the OOBE state, but that consciousness is more like a guardian, a sentinel, a test that must be passed to go further. Absolute control of the emotions, i.e. fear, is mandatory to explore the astral. Any strong emotion will return you absolutely and immediately back to your body. It took until my 40s to learn that though. At least I got an early start.

Now, at the YOUNGEST ages, 4, 5 years old, I remember groups of dolls with needles chasing me and owls. Dream-state, perhaps. Also, lights in the night and moving apparitions in the darkness. It`s all just high strangeness and beyond mundane discussion. I remember a teacher asking the class in 8th grade if anyone ever experienced anything strange before. I mention the sleep paralysis and the entire class goes off laughing except for one girl who liked me crooning, Ì haaaaaaaveee .... `

I was so embarassed I didn`t care at the time but she probably did.

Rahkyt, yes, vortexes comprised of geometric patterns in layers of different colors, black, white, blue, red and yellow, spiraling away and almost shifting as it flows into the distance...easiest to see while looking into clear skies, and once seen appears to remain in place. Someone once said they thought it was a visual migraine, but that never set quite right with me. I've sometimes felt that if I could fly, I would enter the vortex and find out where it comes out.

I`ve had the exact same thought! LOLOL I wonder what it is ...

Oh no, it is just that the little thing that happened is not of as good an energy as it could have been.

The dream last night or this morning, was that I was stuck in an office, with long convoluted hallways, a bit stuffy and older, it was. And there was door after door of open office, and I was trying to escape. In each, was a single person, looking self important and shuffling papers.

Finally, I saw someone I knew, outside, through a window in this convoluted hallway.

I found a side/backdoor to the hallway, and stepped outside to join them. escape! Freedom!

And I went to the square and played with my friends.

On the way there I tried to fly, but found that I was weak, almost exhausted, and could only jump up a bit. No flying.

But I was in the square, gathered around the fountain/sculpture, and we spent some time there.

This thread has more content than many forums. I know I'll never ever catch up, and then again, if I tried, I guess I would be reading about the 'past', not the 'here and now.'

I rarely post here, partially because it is such a time commitment to read back through the previous 5 (or so) pages to try to catch the pulse. I allow myself "zingers" (fun, not mean), and coming in from left field (like the Jill Bolte Taylor video), because that "all I got" (without sincerely reading enough to have a strong sense of the current pulse.)

But, I did happen upon this request, and I am now tapping on my keyboard the latitude and longitude for you in Costa Rica, and I am turning the Higgs Boson Energy Mirror 5000 in space to reflect some moonlight to you. There. That should do it. You are now bathing in moonlight and good vibes. Anything else I can do while I'm commandeering the controls?

I had some weird dreams last night too, was pursued by a drug dealer who was trying to sell me drugs and ran to my car. He followed me and jumped into the back seat and wouldn't leave. A police officcer showed up reached into the car and took the drugs away from the dealer. The officer got into the car and we drove away.
feeling a bit tired.

Just now found a very large poisonous spider in my house. I put it in a jar and let it go outside; told it it's not welcome in my home.

Vegetarians exercise this right to life. Good for you Nora. : ) That was bliss. But I have one better, i wouldnt kill a mosquito now, since becoming a vegetarian. Now thats some weird shyte ehh.
