Another thing is that once one knows a thing, cognition and rumination disallows innocence to remain, thus cost and karma enter the fray. Choices need be made, in the face of knowing. Previously 'free' areas of consideration and behavioral (universal) connection---become weighted.

Subtle those choices may seem, in the face of those who sill live in unknowing... but critical they are, those choices.

    Good post Carmody,

"Knowing" a thing has a nearly opposite effect as "experiencing" a thing. In order to "know" anything you must step outside the Present Moment and entertain constructions of illusion. I see this as the dividing line between ego and spirit (to simplify everything - and this accurate).

The whole goal in the big picture (in my opinion for today for this post - I'm dynamic ;-), is to make this distinction clear, then learning to utilize the ego as a "tool" for coping in a physical world, rather than a Bull in the China shop that it is when this distinction is not made - the distinction between the "experience" of the present moment and everything else. The ego has served us well enough to survive to this point - it is a survival mechanism that has over extended its usefulness.

Remind me to put up my post on "Choices vs Decisions" and how to always make choices from the heart as opposed to from fear. It is unbelievable, because most - even best intentioned people, still make most of their decisions in fear without even knowing it. I'll see if I can get that whipped up today ...

Mainly @ 1inmany but also to myself:
IMO, being ungrounded is lack of contact with our creaturehood, our natural body state of grace. Our bodies are made of the Earth, every last molecule, and will return to Her. Too much emotion, Water, intellectualizing, Air, or too spiritualizing, Fire, will lead to not being grounded. Feel the delight of a breeze or the warmth of the Sun. Keep it simple. Don't fly off into 'feelings' about it, or intellectualize the wonder of it. Don't even get into spiritual musings about meaning of it all. Just realize it is our inheritance, our natural state of creature grace on this planet. Let the peripheral nervous system tell you why Spirit took up a body. Eat a piece of real fruit with flavor and dripping with sweetness and juice. Sit on the ground or walk barefoot on the real Earth. Almost every problem we have is not one of where the body is, but where the mind and emotions are. Illnesses of the body are illnesses of poor thoughts, choices and emotions, both personal and societal.

When going to bed, remember your body is in a warm, safe and comfortable space. You are probably overfed. Life is very good, despite what the demons running through your mind or emotions inform otherwise. Body will stay behind when spirit departs. Is your heart beating, are you breathing? All is well from the grounded, perspective. We are born grounded and are slowly pulled upward into the cacophony of the dysfuction most of this planet lives in. Most of worldly woe comes from being ungrounded and forgetting who we are and how blessed we are. A very few psychopaths have taken full advantage of this distraction to create even more.

Grounding is about keeping it simple and being as quiet as possible inwardly.

I could not keep this to myself. My path does require me to share the goods. My life is very blessed and peaceful. The tiny corner of it that squawks a bit is all a part of me not handling something.........yet.

    We all have our challenges.

I have two full hummingbird feeders at opposite ends of the house. There are two hummingbirds who live here, and when one goes to a feeder, the other comes and chases it away, and vise versa, so that neither is able to enjoy the nectar without worrying about the other one darting in and ruining the experience. Ironically, each could have their own feeder and drink in peace, if they were able to figure out that there's plenty for each.

    Funny birds!

    Best reply ever.
Brings to mind the image of sheep, how they run free after having been corraled to be shorn, instead of slaughtered.

    Command of the Eagle

When the warrior becomes fully aligned to the Dreamer they have the Command of the Eagle at their hand. Toltecs call the Creator of the Nagual (all that is), the Eagle. When a warrior has the Command of the Eagle at their hand they have the power of the Intent of all creation.

When we are fully aligned to the Dreamer, the Dreamer’s will and our will are one. We have free will but it is the will of the Dreamer. For those new to Toltec lore, the Dreamer is the entity that dreams our particular lifetime. We are the dreamed, dreamed by the Dreamer, our life is the dream.

We begin aligning to the Dreamer when we embark on the Mastery of Intent.

    Lovely Modwiz thank you
She says lying here being held warm and safe
    under the covers
Ozzie is snoring happily curled around me
Grounding is the best -and I must say was a
    big turning point for me
When I put some serious time into focussing
on my garden both seriousness and time disappeared
And I found my true self again
The stillness is just divine it's like everything around you
    lets out a huge sigh

An Important reminder to us all

    Thank you

    Back from Mexico safely

and catching my breath after reading 15+ pages.

Got stuck in this last night (I put myself there) different port of entry, this is San Ysidro -I was at the Otay Mesa entry.

I went to the Tecate port and there was an incident at the port. Traffic was directed to the Mexicali or Otay Mesa ports. I drove to the Garita de Otay and got in one of the very long lines. A white truck stalled out and I had to switch lanes.... and knew could feel it..... something was going to happen.
Waited for 2 hours inch by smoggy inch.... was the next car to cross....and Customs spotted a drug cartel fugitive, smuggler or decoy ....not sure which. Protocol... is they tell you to turn your car off, get out and back away from the scene.... I was one car over and Customs firearms drawn running, told me to stay in my car and get down.
People getting out of their cars running everywhere and ducking behind cars. Another ten minutes goes by feels like an hour, they secure one guy but the other wont get out of the car. Customs has to rush the car and takes the other guy down and secures the scene.... they opened the port back up.... checked my passport and wave me through. This is becoming a norm more and more

I don't know how many Mexico trips I have left in me....

Blessed be.... no one got hurt.

    Love

    Nora

Default Re: Here and Now...What's Happening?

The post I was alluding to posting, several posts prior ...

Choices, Decisions and the Domestication of Man

I'll try to keep this short, so fill in the blanks where needed ... This is the very short version. It is loosely based on Toltec Wisdom, a bunch of my own musings, and a technique I learned somewhere -- Bill Ryan would likely recognize it

How to domesticate a wild animal? Generally, there are only two principles at work here. Punishment and reward. With consistency and authority, you punish undesired behaviour and reward desired behaviour. The forms of punishment and reward vastly vary to different degree of effects, but the process is always the same. This process is one of programming fear into a consciousness - it is that simple. The subject begins to fear the punishment, but also, it begins to fear a lack of reward - this part of the process is hidden to many - it goes quickly from, "joy of reward" to "fear of not getting the reward"; or just "Fear" if we simplify it.

How to domesticate a human? Have kids. That is all you need to do. "Fear Programming" has been so effective on humans that we are now self domesticating. It is culturally encoded into all our systems - every single culture on Earth is encoded with this self domesticating process; the only difference between "Cult" and "Culture" is scale. We are taught that this is "civility", yet, if you make the right distinctions, you can see there is nothing really civil about this process, and that it is merely a form of control so effective that we do it to ourselves as a species without questioning it.

Think about all the decisions you make in a day .. "Should I buy this? no, it costs too much ..."<Fear of lack>; "I haven't talked to my Mom all month, I better call her or she'll be upset"<Fear of others thoughts>; "If I had that fancy car I bet I could get that hot chick to go on a date .."<Fear of lack of self worth>; Almost every decision made has a hidden fear behind it. We have been programmed to re-act this way in every instance of our lives.

So what is the alternative? How to break from this vicious cycle? The ONLY way is to center yourself in the present moment and make all your life choices from a center of love. Perfect! How do we do that?

I'm going to try to show you a very effective technique to nullify the fear from all your choices ...

First I need to make clear another distinction: Choices and Decisions -- they are not the same thing. Let us entertain these definitions:

Choice: To select after a consideration.

Decision: To select based on a consideration.

Now, ]Paper? or Plastic? Make a Choice between those two ... go on - using the distinctions above Make a CHOICE. Now why did you choose that one? Do you have your reason as to why? Now look at your reason, by the definitions above, -- did you make a Choice? or a Decision? I'm willing to bet you made a decision. What was your selection based on? The consideration driven by your reason - thus you made a decision.

Try again, Paper? or Plastic? Make a CHOICE this time. Ok? Got it? What was your reason for that choice? Wait a sec - did you base that choice on your reason? That's a decision then -- not a choice.

Keep trying ... It can't be that hard, I gave both very clear definitions of a choice and decision ...

By now some of you will have gotten what I was after - some still not. Humans are programmed with "Reasons" -- this is our own self administered "pleasant" version punishment and reward system. Reasons become the self sustained "more comfortable" construct as an alias of the punishment and reward system in humans, and it is so effective some find it "frightening" to try to make a choice without a "reason" to back it up!

However freedom is found in the absence of reasons.

If you can make a proper choice without a need to apply any justification or reasoning to it, you have made that choice from love in the Present Moment (or insanity, or extreme drunkenness ;-). If you find yourself having "Reasons" and making "Decisions" as opposed to choices, then you are living in your past and keeping that past energized into dragging you back as opposed to the Present Moment, which where you really want to be.

If there are any who have not "gotten" it, or if I was not clear enough - "choices" are not made with any reasons, but they may be made after reasoning, in the present moment, from a state of love. Therefore, if you present any "reason" for basing your selection when asked -- your mind was not in the present moment when you made the selection, but rather the priority was on the "reason" - a past based illusionary construct.

The people who rule this world control with these programs of reason - the punishment and reward systems are already in place and they just need to give you new "reasons" for you to believe in to satisfy your fears. We do all the hard work up front by programming our children, then schools do some programming, TV, friends, religions even, it all uses this exact, yet rather simple system. The great thing is that it is easy to escape the programming by making CHOICES instead of DECISIONS. Just keep this distinction

    Ready? Set! CHOOSE!

In my mind the only real valid reason for almost anything should be this (and it is not even a real "reason" ): "Because I am loving ... <fill in the blank>" My 2 cents

So glad You are Home, Nora...the "borders" are going to go through some interesting shifts methinks, soon.
They will have little to no relevance as things begin to change as this year unfolds more expediently...
A few more bumps in the road and we're on our way ^^^Home^^^...in the highest of spiritual rhythms.

Well, now, this is interesting. Apparently, this is a new form of expression. I've never heard of it anyway. These are Rave Gloves...lights in the tips...some performers (for lack of a better word) are really fun to watch. Thought I would help the village stay up with the young 'ens (lol).

    Much Love,

sorry, replaced the first vid with a better one...

Thank you for sharing this. I, too, wish you would post here more often. Alas, leaving your fans always wanting more lol.

After listening to what you were saying, I realized that I am drinking juice instead of soda, eating fresh fruit, eating salads til I fear turning into a rabbit...a radical change for me, and all because I was just eating what my body told me I wanted, what I crave. As that changes, I follow the body's lead. Being overfed or underfed is quite the possibility since balance is something I learn after changes happen.

I wonder if you can tell me more about this:
Quote are slowly pulled upward into the cacophony of the dysfuction most of this planet lives in. Most of worldly woe comes from being ungrounded and forgetting who we are and how blessed we are.
because I am wondering whether spiritual growth doesn't cause one to become ungrounded as well. If this is the case, then it is not always being slowly pulled upward into that cacophony, but also towards more spiritual pursuits? I don't know, just wondering.

    Much Love,
